Morning Devotional...

I determined not to know anything among you, save Jesus Christ, and Him crucified.
1 Corinthians 2:2

God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Galatians 6:14

Paul was a graduate, a linguist and a scholar. He could have debated with the very best of Corinthian philosophers but he was determined not to become occupied with human wisdom.

Salvation was to be found only in Christ crucified.

The cross may be a stumbling-block to Jews, and foolishness to Greeks, but it was the heart of the gospel, and this alone he would preach.
                                                                   --Jim Flanigan

The cross of Christ is all my boast,
His blood my only plea;
My passport to the realms of bliss
is "Jesus died for me."

Hi Guys

PAt is a night Hawk I guess that makes me an Owl......What a barn owl Pat?

Melaura had a good evening at cadets. I have been busy with Christmas.  Melaura put out my lights and she is asking for more.  I agree they are so pretty.  We are alone on the hill and the lights show for miles.  Perhaps I will get another strand or two.

We have a birthday coming up on Wednesday.  Kassie is 9.  Not to the double digits yet but getting there.  The song "Wednsday's my birthday" is being sung.  If ever there was a child that was a nagger it is Kassie. She is as relentless as a dog with a bone!

Melaura is still in a lot of pain.  I worked on calling her Dr all day today and it was for nowt.  The messages on the machine caused me to be booted every time.   Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr  :o

Well It is late and I have a big day ahead of me tomorrow.  so night all and the rest on EST time "Go to bed"

Love JudyB

Hi, JUDY B and RACHELLE~  I did get out of the house for a while today/yesterday. I went to the library <got the Purpose Driven Life> and then to the doctor's office for my flu shot.   :-\  I decided this would be a good thing to do this year.  I have no reason for that decision except there seemed to be a "prompting" to do it.  I usually rely on Echinacea and Goldenseal.  Maybe the Lord was trying to take care of something before it could happen, y'think?  He does things like that!   ;)

Hi Jane.  Yes it is always wise to follow God's promptings.  I heard a story about an alcoholic who decided to commit suicide.  He sold insurance and a lady was told by God to go into the insurance office and tell this man that Gos loves him.  She did, thinking she was crazy, and the man broke and gave his life to Christ.   This man goes to the guest speakers (from Sunday) church.  All I can say is WOW.  Yes follow the promptigs! ! ! !

Jane........

Yes He does, and He answers prayer even before we pray to him (Not everytime).

Ruthie, Judy, and Judy  ;)..........

I don't believe you guessed at all.  You knew the answer.  Well done.

Here's another easy one to work on..........

"________MY____ _____ ______IT______"

Vivian has had two wonderful days.  Today is her birthday and a few friends had a party for her tonight.  I had a surprise party for her yesterday with several friends at the golf club, and we're going out to dinner tomorow night with a couple of dear friends to celebrate her birthday.  Don't know if I can eat another piece of cake ::)

Good Morning from sunny England.

I have spent a few minutes reading the posts from your yesterday evening, written while I was in  bed counting "Margit and Chris"...Private Joke!

Pat Thank-you for this morning's devotional.  Very apt., Also I do agree with your comments re Revelation and this Web site. I know Paul said "in Season and out of season", sometimes this can be taken out of context. Paul came to "Testify the Gospel of the grace of God" Acts 20:24.

The important thing is as Christians that we continue to "Love one Another....this is the fulfilment of the law".

My prayer is that any lost and searching souls coming upon this site for the first time might stop and say "Oh how they love one another" because we do all love one another, even as our Dear Lord Jesus loved us first. They are so welcome to join us and hear the Good News of our Saviour Jesus Christ.

Judy I so hope Melaura is feeling better today.  You certainly have a lot of nursing to do in your household.  Hang on in there sis.  things will improve.  I would love to see your home all lighted up.  You have extended your Christmas I gather into November.  Enjoy!

Rachelle Hello again.  It is lovely to see your dear face again around here.

Jeanne   Congratulations

Until Later,
Remember the words of the Lord Jesus

Jenny

I got my flu and pneumonia shots yesterday too Jane.

I woke up at 2:00a.m. and couldn't go back to sleep, that is 2 nights in a row. I have a slight headache this morning.  But God will give me the strength to get through this day.

Last night I heard a kind od sizzling noise and looked down at a socket I could see it sparking underneath the plate. I hit it with my hand and it stopped but Icalled thelandlord and he came down and  shut the power off to that circuit. The electrician will be here this evening to see what it is. Kind of scary. Don't want to burn up.

Got to go now.

Hi everyone.  After several days of beautiful, sunny and warm weather we are having a day of mist and light rain but still to be in the 70s.

Judyb, I can't image seeing 6 inches of snow so early in the year.  Do you have a power snow blower or do you have to use ths old fashioned snow shovel?  I don't even own a snow shovel because if we ever get enough snow that would require shoveling, I am staying in the house.  With the condition of my heart I couldn't use it anyway.

Boots and Janet, I relate to the four rooms and a path and still remember those cold winter days in NW Missouri and the trips to the outhouse.  I was in my teens  before I ever had a room of my own (always slept on a daybed in the dining room) or we had indoor facilities and believe me I really appreciated both.

Marilyn, do hope your computer comes today.  A bit frightening about the sparking wire and sure a good thing you noticed it.  Don't think I would have wanted to touch the wall pate, however, that could have been a bit of a shock.  Hope the headache goes away and that you are able to sleep tonight.  Must be anticipating that new computer!  ;)

Pat, hope your trip to London goes well today.  The students at the dental colleges do good work but very, very slowly.  I can remember how tired my jaws would get from holding my mouth open so long.  One of the things I really like about our current dentist is that he works very quickly, no wasted motions.

Happy Birthday, Vivian.

Jeanne, congratulations on the 1000 posts.

Well, I promised I wouldn't write such a long post today so will stop for now and see if I can figure out the Hymn title that Lee h as for us in the little puzzle today since no one has yet given the title. (Edit:  I think I know the title:  "Take My Life and Let It Be" )

Lee -- Take My Life and Let It Be (consecrated Lord to Thee)

Hi everyone.  Travis is being a toddler, so I can't stay any one place for too long.  He is "writing" right now, so I need to go and make sure he is "writing' on the paper, not himself, the wall, the bedspread, etc.  ;D

It is now 9:44 AM and we have come home from our nice swim, ready to face the day, whatever it brings!

Larry, my parents always had running water in the house, and a bathtub; but we had the old outhouse.  After I married, my husband installed a toilet for them, so they had it for their older years.  I'm sure it was a big relief to them, not to have to go out in the cold and the dark to the outhouse any more.

Jane, we got flu and pneumonia shots last week.  Last year was the first year we took flu shots.  Like you, I had always depended on ecinacea (sp) and lots of vitamin C.  We use vitamin C and Zinc a lot when we feel a cold or sore throat threatening to "get" us---plus big doses of prayer!

Hi, Jenny!  Enjoy your day alone with God!  You are in the best of company today.

JudyB, I am glad that snow is not here!  I'm not ready for that yet!  It is still cool and damp feeling here, actually had some water on the drive this morning, from dew, I guess.

Larry, your posts are never too long.  I always enjoy them so much.

Pat, I hope you have a good day today, and we will ALL be relieved when you get your teeth all done!  Not a fun thing, but necessary.

Marilyn, enjoy that new Dell, with all its bells and whistles! ;D  Boy!  I am so glad you heard and saw that problem with the outlet!  That is very dangerous!  God is so good, to allow us to see danger in time to avert problems.

Jeanne, welcome to the 1000 club!!  I must be way too gabby, I passed that mark some time ago.   :-[

Hello, Ria!  I hope you have a wonderful day!  You, too, Rachelle---enjoy the fruits of your labor in the house.

Hi Carol!  Nice to see you this morning.  How are you doing?

Tenderheart, good to hear from you, too.  I know it must be really busy in your little house these days, with the new baby and all.  Give him a little cuddle for me!

Lee, wish Vivian a happy birthday from me, please.

Edit:  Hi there, Karma!  Happy to see you, even for a short visit!  Travis keeps you on your toes, for sure, but these are precious days, and I know you and Nard treasure them.

I found the solution of not losing posts.....don't try to post at night on NEM!!!  I use notpad and then copy and paste it to the posting area.  Learned to do that when I used to lose posts all the time.  Then I still had the notepad.  That is, when I keep notes.

Today is a day that I am rushing through.  I am going to Jerry's and take him to the grocery.  Then we are eating at his place and then going to the small groups meeting.  Remember I am taking snacks tonight so need to get there a little bit earlier.  Hope they enjoy the snacks!!!

Marilyn ~ I know you are excited to get your new computer.  Whew!  What a scare about your electricity.  I remember that some older mobile homes have the wrong wiring....either copper or NOT copper...I can't remember which.  I am sure the electrician will verify if what you have is okay.  Just so glad you were home and where you 'heard' the frying.

I got an email from Homestead today saying if I do so and so then I will be capable of updating my Webpage...don't have time to do all they want me to do today....so tomorrow!!!

Another thing you can do if you are afraid you might lose a post is to copy it by selecting and right clicking.  Then, if it gets lost, you just have to paste it in the text box.

I do this if I am posting when I think Pat is locking the door, or if I have typed something really profound and I don't wnat ot lose it under any circumstances (I don't do it much!! :P)

Take care all.

Etta, if they don't like the refreshments, send 'em my way!!! :P

Just popping in to say hello from my rainy corner of the world. (right near Jane's rainy corner of the world. haha)

My new Olympus camera came last night!  I was going online to check to see if it had been shipped, when up the driveway drives the Airborne Express truck.  I almost ran to greet him. :)  I DID have the door opened before he left his truck.

Today Kim and Angel both have appointments with the eye doctor.  They want to check Kim's eyes, and will check Angel's also to see if she might be a candidate for contacs.  I sure hope so.

I'm heading to Al's MARK now.  Thanks for the reminder Jenny.

I'm always so blessed by the devotionals.  Thank you dear ones who put such loving effort in blessing the rest of us.

I love snow.

I love to see snow.

I love to watch snow.

I simply despise HAVING to travel in snow.  Too many crazy people on the road.  Well, just too many people on the road in general.  Snow in Western North Carolina basically means huge traffic jams, such that you never know if you are going to spend the night in your car or simply be 6 hours late getting home.

Karma thinks snow is awesome.  She's a sweetheart, but I very rarely have stars in my eyes because of snow... It's usually dread, I think.

Did I mention that I actually enjoy DRIVING in snow - when I have the proper equipment and don't have TOO far to go to safety.

Everybody have a great day!

Brrrrrrrr it is COLD

It is minus 2*C

Nards as long as I can just look at it I am fine but the cold seeps into the bones.

Our Furnace fan is not working.   ??? :'( ::)
Why I have no clue.  $65 to have someone to just come in the door then parts above that.  If it takes more than 1/2 hour it is then an additional $65 an hour.  I think I am in the wrong business!!! :o
If it isn't the water pump it will be the furnace.   >:(

Just in from the Dr (for me) and he has me on antidepressants.  That will help me get the reserves back that stress has taken....

Well it is almost 1:00  Melaura's Dr will be in soon so I will start calling again.  Etta Sue  We love hugs! Thankyou from both of us.

Bye now Have to call the furnace repair man.

A bright, sunny day here on the island.  Rather chilly and crisp at the moment....but not a snowflake in sight.  Sure don't miss those Calgary winters.

What great long posts this morning!  Glad you got your new computer Marilyn.  My plan is to get a digital camera when all the travel dust has settled in Jan. 04.

I am going to go down to our lovely Senior Centre and carpet bowl one game...then walk to Al's and take him a little treat of flowers...if I can find some nice one's here in town.  He loves flowers.  Guess that is partly due to coming from Holland...right Ria?

Far too many people to send messages to...tho' thanks Jenny, will go visit Al's Mark.  Hope everyone has a happy day.  Hope Pat's dentist is gentle...God Bless.

Some good news!

CBS has apparently pulled its support for the TV docudrama
'The Reagans.'

NewsMax reports Tuesday that sources close to the
production say the film no longer has the support of the
CBS network.

The Hollywood Reporter revealed on Tuesday that "following
a storm of protest," CBS canceled the four-hour
miniseries.

The magazine said CBS chief Leslie Moonves decided the
film was unfair to the Reagans.

The New York Times reported Tuesday that "Under pressure
from Republicans and conservative groups, CBS is weighing
a decision to scrap" the movie.

This is a significant victory for NewsMax and its readers,
who drew attention to this malicious smear on President
and Mrs. Reagan.

NewsMax first blew the whistle on Barbra Streisand, and
her husband, James Brolin, who plays Reagan in the film.
In the July edition of NewsMax "Hollywood Naked" -- with
Streisand on the cover -- NewsMax first warned about the
CBS hatchet job planned on the Reagans.

You can check out our special report on Streisand and
Brolin by clicking here:

Good afternoon everyone!!  I hope you are having a pleasant afternoon/evening.

Travis just brought me the Bible and said "Read some."   :)  He paid attention for approxiamately 2.345685 seconds.  Gotta start somewhere, I reckon.

Nards -- He saw your pic and said, "Da -- baby?"  He then figured out it must be "Ta Shushu" that you were holding.

have a good 'un ya'll.  I think I'll give little boy a bath (milk in his hair, sucker on his face/hand/legs/stomach/hair) -- he is a 30 pound sticky right now.

Karmat Your little Travis is an angel with a dirty face...Yes?  Hope he's cleaned up now, but one thing I am sure of it won't last long... Bernard's turn next, to clean him up I mean...
The Bible is growing on  Travis, a bit at a time. Have we a young "Samuel" here or a Daniel in the making ?  Watch this space!

Poor Judy Everything is going wrong at once for you.  Things can only get better sis.  Praying for you. You start to look after You please. Got to get well for Christmas.

Pat Hope you feel better tonight dear. I'd like to say "keep smiling" but you might think I am being cheeky and it's not funny is it?

Etta Sue I thought of you and decided to clear all the leaves from the entry and the huge pile banked up against the outside wall.  Hope you enjoyed your time with Jerry.  Best Wishes to Both of you.

Marilyn Looking forward to receiving something from the new "puter". Proper posh you are now!

That's about all for now.
I send love and prayerful Best Wishes.
Goodnight from England.

RIA, your quote from Ruth 1:16 is such a good verse expressing love and loyalty.  Thanks for posting it, may I just repeat it?  :) :)

"Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay.  Your people will be my people and your God my God."

The reason I wanted to print it again, is this is a part of my marriage vows.  Mary and I have lived by this verse for more than 50 years.  :) :)

Just stopped in to read some and had to respond to this one as it is special to me.

Have a good afternoon

Ria, your quotation for the book of Ruth also brought back memories for me.  There is a song based on it called "Whither Thou Goest, I Will Go" and my wife of 41 years chose that to be sung at our wedding.  Little did we know that she would have to live that literally as we moved to many different states and times.  Boots, that must have been a popular passage in the 50's and 60's.

Good morning.  Well, it is actually about noon here in Middle Tennessee.

This morning we went to a funeral visitation.  A friend of ours mother passed away after a long illness.  She was 87, just 11 years older than I am.  Time seems to be going by pretty fast.

Marilyn, be careful with that electrical outlet.  There have been enough fires in California without you adding another one.  I hope it is taken care of soon.  Good luck with your new computer.

Ria, I remember when we lived in Brussels how soon it got dark and then stayed dark up into the morning.  Our Martha left to go to school in the dark and she got home in the dark.  These long nights of winter are easy to understand when you look at a map and see how much farther north you are than we are.

Judy B.,  it is too cold up there.  Right here it is 74 degrees now here.  Of course the cold weather is coming  ---  but a little later.  We got a new washer and dryer yesterday and when they were installing it the man said I would have to call a plumber to repair a connection which had corroded.  Plumbers cost big money.  I called a friend who is a good handy man.  He came and in 15 minutes had fixed the problem.  You need a friend like that to fix the furnace fan.

Good to see so many today.

Our love should extend to those whose faith may not be as strong as our own.

Jude 1:20-22  But you, dear friends, build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit. Keep yourselves in God's love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.  Be merciful to those who doubt;[/u]  (NIV)

Woohooo

I should have come back sooner.  There was a blown fuse.  Furnace fuse!   Duhhhh Thank goodness I caught it before the repair man came.  That would have been a waste.

WE have had snow, that looks like it is staying, freezing rain, rain and wind.  This is the 4th of Nov.

It was 12 years ago today that we cleared the fence line for the surveyors.  We worked from early morning to late in the afternoon.  The sale of the property was finalized on Dec. 20. that year.  The rest as they say has been hustory.  WE have never regreted the move, and this is very definitely Home.

I called Melaura's Dr.  She has yet to call me back.  This is so frustrating.  I understand she is busy, but I am watching a sick girl refuse to eat.

Well have to go so I will be back.  Are you home yet Pat?  How is the dental work going?

Cheerio

9.45 p.m.

Just a quick pop in...

Boots and Ria:- The verse from Ruth was a special one for me too.  My dearest friend and Sister in Christ Esmeline (Amy) was always quoting this to me.  She left Jamaica in the 60s to come here with her husband.  She never returned there again, never saw her mother or her brothers and sisters again.  She told me England was now her country, where her husband went, she went. She was beautiful, a wonderful Christian wife and mother of 7 children and she died aged 53 in 1995.  The Parish Church was filled to overflowing at her funeral.

Chris and Margit.  That was beautiful.  God Bless both.

Nite-nite..Again.
Off to bed now for me.
Jenny.

Thank you Pat for that great devotional.    For sure the Gospel of Jesus Christ is very important because it is the Power of God unto Salvation to the Jew first and also to the Greek....

Tonight I am going out again with EE or Evangelism Explosion.   My team will go into the highways and byways and tell about that Glorious Gospel that frees  mankind and changes lives from darkness to light.

Please pray for me and my team and I will report back around 10:00 p.m.

God bless you.

Father, I just pray right now for Ruthie and her EE team.  Please provide them with amazing clarity of mind, peace, and spiritual fortitude as they witness to whomever you send their way.  And I just ask that you would send them hungry souls - people who are in search of YOU.  Lord, just guide their footsteps to make their labors fruitful.

In Jesus' name I ask,
Amen

I know I will cry all day today. But it is only the pain of love in my heart.
I love all my friends here and I will miss everyone SO much. I am SO happy I did get to spend a time here on the CP with you. You are all forever in my heart as  my friends. Tomorrow it is my last day here at my home and I have much to do before I go. It is only my wish to tell you all I love you. It is my hope I will be back home again, perhaps in the summer and I will try to come here to say a Hi when I can, if I can do it.

the most BIG (((((((((HUG)))))))))

My heart it is warm with the love of many friends here. I know it is all I will need to make me warm on a very cold day in the Lhasa.

I thank you all that you share your love and give so much of your heart for so many here. I am only one, I am blessed to know each of you and I will forever hold in my heart the kindness of the words you share here on the Christian Photographers. I know you will touch many with the love you give.
God is Love, I pray you will walk close with Him. This has been a most wonderful place on my path of life, to find so much treasure under one small stone. I pray we will all be together in the morning. But I hope today it is a long and wonderful life.

I will pray for each of you for the time I am away.
I pray you are all happy, and in a good health and I wish for you all that is good.

With all my heart,

-mieka (https://www.christianphotographers.com/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fchristianphotographers.com%2Fforum%2Fsmi%2Fmieka.gif&hash=16f18e9346085bad88c4cb4f452367cac081861e)

There are those who give little of the much which they have - and they give it for recognition and their hidden desire makes their gifts unwholesome.
And there are those who have little and give it all. These are the believers in life and the bounty of life, and their coffer is never empty.
There are those who give with joy, and that joy is their reward. And there are those who give with pain, and that pain is their baptism. And there are those who give and know not pain in giving, nor do they seek joy, nor give with mindfulness of virtue; They give as in yonder valley the myrtle breathes its fragrance into space.
Through the hands of such as these God speaks, and from behind their eyes He smiles upon the earth. It is well to give when asked, but it is better to give unasked, through understanding; And to the open-handed the search for one who shall receive is joy greater than giving And is there aught you would withhold? All you have shall some day be given;
- Gibran

I thank you that you all give of your heart to me.
I love you all, and
I love you God !

I don't know what it is but working at the homeless shelter on Tuesdays just wears me out.  I had a short discussion with one young girl today - she lets her 4 year old son wander all around while she stays outside to smoke and talk with her friends - I went out and told her that we are not babysitters and that child is her responsibility.  She left in a huff and of course the poor boy wasn't buckled up in the back seat - oh, I could ring her neck.  A few were going to be sleeping outside tonight in their cars so we went to a thrift store and asked for a big discount for two sleeping bags & they did give me a great price.

Janet:  It is great that CBS backed out of the movie but they should have had the ethics to do so before any protests.  Apparently not.  Thanks for your nice Hello - it was so cheery to see your note after this dismal afternoon.

Pat:  Dentist day for you - I hope that you are doing well.  Wither Thou Goest - we moved so many times in our lives - just like Larry & Pat - that it should have been our theme.

Carol, that type of person is very frustrating!  Especially when you are trying to help them, and they don't even try to help themselves.  For instance:  if she is homeless, then how can she afford cigarettes to smoke?  There is something badly out of line in her priorities!

But bless you for working there and trying to help!  And I am glad you got a good price on the sleeping bags today!

I'm just stopping by to see what y'all have been up to since I was here last.   :P

I got a call to pick up my heart monitor this afternoon so I went over to the Medical Center for that.  I am supposed to wear this thing for a couple weeks, and I am scheduled for the treadmill stress test on the 13th. After that I should be done with all this testing!  ::)

MI~ If you look in here one more time before you have to leave, I want you to know just how much you have come to mean to me.  I have so enjoyed getting to know you and our chats from time to time (sometimes very late at night when you had trouble sleeping.   :P)  I will always love you and "keep you in my heart" and look forward to the time when you will once again be here for us all to welcome home!  I will be looking forward to your return and then we will talk about your trip north to visit in Oregon!   :D 8) ;D

Take care of yourself, my friend.... (https://www.christianphotographers.com/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.webpost.net%2Fhi%2FHisOwn%2FBLUHRT.gif&hash=3abe1457e9d0aeec602f410a0a4a4ac4a5c40a0a) :-* ;) :D

Meeks - It is with terrible sadness that I bid a temporary goodbye to a friend that I will treasure forever.  I pray that you will keep your mind on Jesus Christ - He died to save you and will always be with you, even unto the end of the world.  If you have trusted Christ as your Saviour, He will NEVER leave you.  Count on it.  It's a PROMISE.  There may be times when the Lhasa feels like the end of the world, but Jesus promised to be there with you.  Your friends here cannot go with you, but we will keep you always in our prayers and in our hearts.  In the love of Jesus, God bless you.  We love you.  :'( :'( :'(

Please come back soon and please do everything you can to get in touch with us.

Our Meika......you will be so missed, little sister.  When you are sometimes feeling the cold, remember us and let it warm your heart.  Love goes with you....and you have so much to give.  You have touched my heart in so many ways.  Your tenderness for others, your love for God and for all His creation.......you are truly one of God's blessings.  You are a treasure.   I will pray for you and believe that if it is our Father's will, He will bring you back to us.  You will be God's own blessing wherever you are, dear one.  Keep that sense of humor.  It's a gift from God. :)

Jane, I thought of you as I sat, and sat, and sat in my car waiting for Kim and Angel to get out of the doctor's office. (eyes).  We were there at 3, and didn't leave until almost 6.

Kim has some bubbling in one of her eyes, from the surgery, and the stitches aren't coming out in that eye.  She goes back in one week and they'll decide what to do.  We won't go back to the surgeon until December, so I hope her doctor here can fix it.

ANGEL GETS CONTACS!!   Thank you Father.  In fact, she has a trial pair on now.....and her eyes are the same size. Bless her heart.  Her stepdad always said she couldn't get contacs, but the doctor said the glasses she was wearing wouldn't help her, so I hope he'll relent and see that she'll take good care of them.

Tonight I'm putting on worship music, lighting some candles and spending the evening in prayer and just loving Jesus. :D :D  I haven't done this in a long time, and this afternoon I was delighted to find my heart warmed by the thought of "spending the evening with the Lover of my soul...my Jesus".  I spend a lot of time listening in times like this, and say little except maybe to sing to Him.  Our Lord is so good.  I will never get over the awe of Him wanting time with me.   Doesn't that amaze you?  He wants to be intimate with us.....to listen to our thoughts, listen to us sing to Him, to come near and warm our hearts, refresh and heal, with all assurance that He will never look at his watch or send you away. :)

  Goodnight, family.  love, nita

Hi Nards  &  Boots......  Thank you so much for praying for me and my EE team.  We went back to the Muslim family of 5 children and Mom & Dad.   I found the 17 year old son, who seemed very interested in Christianity, was sick in bed and so I told his mother that I had some books for him to read and a Bible.

Then the Mother said she wasn't feeling too well, was going through kimo for cancer and I could see when her scarf came down that her hair was very thin.    I asked her if I could pray for her.   She said yes and I prayed,  "Father we come to you in the wonderful name of Jesus our Saviour and Lord.   We know that when you walked on this earth, you healed the sick, made the blind eyes see, and the lame to walk, you even raised the dead.   And now Jesus we ask that you put your hands on Waseema and heal her.  Strengthen her and comfort her as she goes through this kimo.  Touch her life today and we will give you all the praise and glory.   We ask in the mighty name of Jesus.    Amen."

She had a smile on her face and thanked us for coming.     I believe this is a seed planted and one day I will see her trust in Jesus as her Lord and Saviour.

God richly bless all of you.

Love Ruthie ;)
