Morning Devotional...The time would fail me to tell of [those]. . . who through faith. . . out of weakness were made strong. . . . Â
Hebrews 11:32-34
There are times in our lives when we feel weak. It may be that we are ill or perhaps run-down.
Sometimes through shock or stress we are brought low, or we may have a traumatic time brought about by the illness of a loved one for whom we have been caring.
Whatever the cause of our spent strength, we may claim the consolation of the Lord that God allows us to go through the furnace in order to be sanctified through suffering, cleansed through chastening, and purified through pain.
The highway to holiness and heaven often takes us along the way of the cross.

 Â
He giveth more grace when the burdens grow greater;
He sendeth more strength when the labors increase,
To added affliction He addeth His mercy;
To multiplied trials, His multiplied peace.
Refrain
His love has no limit; His grace has no measure;
His power has no boundary known unto men.
For out of His infinite riches in Jesus,
He giveth, and giveth, and giveth again!
When we have exhausted our store of endurance,
When our strength has failed ere the day is half done.
When we reach the end of our hoarded resources,
Our Father's full giving is only begun.
Refrain

Thanks for the devotional, Pat
The song was new to me and the words so appropiate.
Everyone have a blessed day. Seems like it's raining here this morning..but cool weather is on the way.
Fall weather this weekend. :)
Good Morning. Pat I certainly hope that you are feeling much better today and are not feeling so down as you were.
Sorry I have not been here much lately. I have been so busy. Yesterday my client Jan and I went to lunch together and had a wonderful Mexican Meal. I ate too much. Then I was home for 1 1/2 hours and went on to have my nails done, after that straight into Eureka for a union meeting and back home by 8 PM. It doesn't look like this county is going to give us our raise any time soon if at all. So it was a very long day.
Thank you Jane for the email from Joy. I have sent it on to the friends down south.
Nita I know you are really enjoying the puppies, I love puppies. When I was having my nails done yesterday there was a lady in the shop that hasd her tiny little Minature Pinscher in the crate beside her. It is only 6 weeks old.
Larry I am praying your test results with me good news.
Hi Beth Hope you are doing ok.

Hello everyone. Kind of a rough day at work for me, so far. Karma and Trav are off to the Ripley's Aquarium in Gatlinburg where I hope they have a really fun time.
Hope all of you have a great day!
nard
Hi everyone. We have very cool weather today as it was 46 degrees this morning. Had to break out a jacket to wear for the first time this season.
We are awaiting the arrivial of our friend from Maryland. He and his wife were planning on being here around 10 am but he called saying he awoke with a headache and would be an hour or so late. Just now he called back to go over the directions again. So they should be here soon. We will visit for a little while and then go out to lunch. We plan on coming back for more visiting and then later have the apple pie that Pat fixed this morning with some ice cream. I am looking forward to the day. He still works for the governmental agency from which I retired so I will be able to catch up on what has changed and on some of the people I still know that are working.
Pat, do hope you are feeling much better today. I had expected to have some side effects from the biopsy yesterday but seem to be totally fine, which is great.
Nards, hope your day picks up and ends up not being too rough. I imagine Trav will really enjoy seeing all the sea creatures at the aquarium.
Marilyn, you certainly had a full day yesterday. Sorry about the lack of the raise.
Kathy, so sorry to hear of the death of the young man at your work. I know that made the impact of yesterday much worse and you had enough to think about recalling the loss of your son.
We have had some bad news about John's cousin, here is the link.

Hope you all have a wonderful day!
Jenny, where are you? ((hug))
Hi Everyone
I have not been around this great place lately. I have been having some medical problems. I had a Kidney stone rupture a kidney. They put in a uteral stent in. 2 weeks later they took it out and pulverized the stone with shock wave theropy. Both procedures were non-invasive surgeries. Since then a colonoscopy showed a tumor in my ascending colon. I am skeduled for a colon resection monday. It will be a week hospital stay so I will be away for a little while longer. I have missed coming here but I will be back
thank you
Tom
Ohhhh, Tom, I'm so very sorry about your health problems. Oh dear...anything to do with the kidneys brings back memories for me of my dear Jack.
Please know that we'll be remembering you in prayer as you undergo further procedures.
God bless you.

I'm going to share with you an email I recently sent out to the complete membership in case you didn't receive it:For those of you who do not have a web page where you can store your photos, we've introduced a Christian Photographers Photo Gallery here...
http://www.christianphotographers.com/gallery

We would encourage those of you who have photos of family members, your places of residence, your pets, your vacation or other photos that you'd like to share with us on CP, to upload to this area if you don't have a webpage. Please have your photos no larger than 90 to 100K when you upload.
Then you can use the intermediate-sized photo to post on CP.
Here's how you create your gallery...
Steps to Setting up Your Gallery on Christian Photographers1. Click on "Gallery" (one of the buttons near the top of the main forum page between "Home" and "Help") and then "User Galleries"
2. Click on "Order / Create your Gallery"
3. Click "New"
4. In the text box where it says "New Album" change it to the name you want such as "Travel" or "Pets" or "Garden"
5. Click "Apply Modifications" (You'll be asked, "Are you sure you want to make these modifications") Click "OK"
6. Click "Continue"
7. Click on "Upload Picture" and browse to your photo (which you have resized to between 50K and 90K) that you wish to upload from your computer to your gallery.
8. Insert a Title and short Description and now you have the photo showing on Christian Photographers!
Please Note: If you get an error saying "No Image Uploaded" it may be because the the image is too large and may need resizing to a smaller image.
I may have to arrange to increase my webspace so please don't upload too many at once. We ask that you limit your photo uploads to 4 per day.
If you have any questions, please click on my name on the site and drop me a Private Message. At the present time, this service is free to all of our members.

And the Lord said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live. Numbers 21:8
Words and Music: William A. Ogden, 1841-1897
I've a message from the Lord, hallelujah!
The message unto you I'll give;
'Tis recorded in His Word, hallelujah!
It is only that you "look and live."
Refrain
Look and live, my brother, live!
Look to Jesus now and live;
'Tis recorded in His Word, hallelujah!
It is only that you "look and live"
I've a message full of love, hallelujah!
A message, O my friend, for you;
'Tis a message from above, hallelujah!
Jesus said it and I know 'tis true.
Refrain
Life is offered unto you, hallelujah!
Eteral life thy soul shall have,
If you'll only look to Him, hallelujah!
Look to Jesus who alone can save.
Refrain
I will tell you how I came, hallelujah!
To Jesus when He made me whole:
'Twas believing on His name, hallelujah!
I trusted and He saved my soul.

Hi Everyone-
Today has been a busy day for us too-we went and purchased a new door for our bedroom-it cost more then we thought it would-the one that I saw that was 39 dollars ended up being 80 dollars because we had to have them customize it for us -Ohh well-we have to take care of our homes so things like that will happen.
Today in school for Zachary and Whitney we learned about germs..
Here is Zacs Comment today:
Mom what are we doing today-Mom replies we are learning about germs. Zac repliest to Whitney we are learning about germs today-
isn't that discusting? Lol-boy these kids make me laugh.
I read them a story about germs and how we are to wash our hands to keep the germs off-not just with water or with cold water but, warm water and soap gets the germs off-it was a interesting day.
This week we read the story about Madeline and they also learned about what your appendix is.
The next two weeks we are reading How to make an apple pie and see the world.
Well-that is about all for us!
I hope all of you have a wonderful weekend.
Hugs
Rachelle
Where has everyone been today? I all y-all are doin' ok.
My day has been the usual busy day. I went to see Fay again today and stopped at Dollar Tree on the way home, oh my goodness, I can't believe I bought that much stuff. I didn't really need most of it or maybe any of it.
When I came home from work before, I went to Eureka, Happy Dog was on my front porch waiting for me. Thank you Jesus that he WAS there. He had gone over the fence again. Well I look at it this way, he got in his run, he is still all in one piece and he came home. Thank you Jesus.
Got things to do so must go now.
TTYL
It is good to see each one today. We left this morning and spent a good portion of the day at Lipscomb University for the induction of new members of the Golden Circle. What is that? Well it is a group made up of alumni of Lipscomb who graduated 50 or more years ago. We were inducted five years ago because we graduated in 1949. It is a fun time when we meet former classmates. Quite a few were there from our class. Around 10:00 we met for coffee and refreshments. Later we have a delicious sit down banquet. We really enjoyed visiting and seeing old friends. Anyway when we got home I was ready for a nap and I slept until five o’clock.
Tom, sorry to hear about your problems. I had a colon resection a year ago and a cancerous tumor was removed. Week before last I had a follow-up colonoscopy and I am still cancer free. God bless you and may you have a successful surgery.
3 John 1:2 Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well. (NIV)

Just stopping by to say goodnight to y-alls. Been working on Psp tonight. Trying to catch up for this weeks lessons.
Anyways

G'Night, Marilyn ... and all y'all other'ns ... I put out a bit of effort today that I don't usually have ... didn't have all that much to spare today either, come to think about it. :P When I first moved here (almost 4 years ago) there were three half-barrels out front with bulbs planted in them. Over time these barrel planters began to fall apart. A year ago, the girl who does yard work for me took one away and replanted the bulbs in another place. I have my mother's daffodils (that I brought from her house in Oklahoma) in another one, but the third one has just fallen apart. Soooooo I went out and bought another 1/2 barrel and some potting soil and came back home and proceeded to transfer what bulbs were in the dilapatated barrel into the new(er) one. This ended up being quite a task and I ended up with a very red face and aching back! :-\ BUT it got done!! I feel succesful at last!
Anyway, I'm tard now ... and I think I feel like going to bed rather than sitting in the recliner and watching TV. It's turned a mite cold here in these parts and should be raining by tomorrow, so I just may build a fire in the morning. hmmm It will be the first fire of this season for me. :)
Y'all have a great day tomorrow and ... I just may pop in here again once I get warm. :D
Time to lock the door. Hope to see you in tomorrows
