Those light fixtures might be a great purchase.  Are they as old as the store is?

Oh, they aren't light fixtures, Pat; they are displays for putting merchandise on--racks, shelves, tables, etc.  That sort of thing.

Hmmmm..........Beth isn't answering her phone.  I may have to go out there to check on her.

Hi, friends, the stomach scope report came in today - no h pylori bacteria, and no cancer, so those biopsies were definitel a success. Now, to heal the gastritis.

I left work at 2:15 today and never looked back. After the doc appt went home and relaxed, and then took myself to a neighborhood restaurant for a snack.

I guess it was to celebrate my daughter's 33rd birthday. We're supposed to get together Sunday afternoon.

Hi everyone.  I had a very busy morning as after coffee at the Men's Coffee at the senior center I took my daughther to Sparta, GA to pay the ticket she had gotten.  It took us two hours to get there but it was mostly driving over back highways so not much traffic and the roads in Georgia are in great condition since we don't get the winter freezing and thawing. 

The courthouse was unbelievable and I wish I would have had my camera with me but never think to take it.  It was very small and they said it was built in 1881 and I don't think they had ever spent any money to keep it up.  It was really something you would have to see to believe.  It took about 5 minutes to pay the ticket and then we headed on the two hour drive back.  When I got home I had to rest and Pat took Stacey to the DMV and she was able to get her driver's license back.  So we don't have to drive her around as we have been doing for 3 weeks.  This is a big relief for us. 

Needless to say I am tired tonight.  I just finished updating our church website.

Ruth Ann, certainly glad you got a good report from the doctor and that is quite an honor to have the men come from so far to meet you.

Janet, I hope you just found Beth napping.  I am sure Abby enjoyed carving her very own pumpkin. Glad that Darrel was able to go to the Promise Keeper's meeting.  Our church has several men who have attended those events.

Pat, thanks for the devotional today.  Just think you had a whole 2 minutes to spare on your order. 

Anthony, I don't think I ever heard of pickled onions before, at least I am sure I have never tasted a pickled onion.

Tbear, I liked your graphic even if you didn't make it.  Very nice.  The years really do fly by with regard to our children. 

Tereas Dawn, sorry you found the rink closed.  Are the teachers at the rink a part of the school system?

Papa John, I have never heard of Anthony Burger.  I will have to check out his website.  (P.S.--I just now visited his webpage and listened to some of his wonderful music.  It is certainly worth checking out.) 

Marylin, I never heard of folks storing their jewelry outside.  That really should throw off any thief. 

Well, it is time to say goodnight and turn in for the day.

Hey no they are not part of the school but everything is closing.  Like the hopsital janitors are on strike for the schools too and there was a bus block off this morning.  It's to help the teachers strike finish first I think. 

A final telephone call to one cousin tonight as they will arrive on Tuesday and I am trying to talk them into staying at least two nights. 

I will try to get to photos.  CP is really behaving strange tonight and the typing is very jerky and doesn't show then suddenly part of what I type shows.  Gremlins.

Oh, this is impossible - my best to everyone.

Larry I hope you were joking, I didn't store it out there intentionally, I just couldn't find where I had packed it and suddenly today remembered where it was.

Tomorrow will be house cleaning day for me, after I get off work o, of course. I may even get some of the boxes of books sorted through and into the bookcase. Then on to the China Cabinet. Little by little and piece by piece I will eventually have it all done.

The Grand kids will be here next Friday night. I have to take them to the Halloween party at their school too that night.

Gloria"s memorial is next Saturday afternoon so thee kids will go to their other grandparents in the afternoon.

Larry, what a relief for you and Pat, that Stacey got her license back!  Whew!  That was a long drive to pay her fine, though.

Ruth Ann, glad you got good reports again on your health tests, and hope everything keeps getting better for you.

Marilyn, of course Larry was joking---didn't you see this  at the end of his teasing? 

I stopped back by to tell you all that Beth is better.  I think she was just away from the phone when I called; probably in the bathroom.  She said after she slept another hour and a half, her head felt much better.

Gotta get Abby in the shower!  She always wants to wait for me.
