Praise the Saviour, Ye Who Know Him (http://christianphotographers.com/sounds/acclaim.mid)
(Click to hear music)
We thank Thee,
and praise Thy glorious Name.
1 Chronicles 29:13
Words: Thomas Kelly
Music: Acclaim, traditional German melody
Praise the Savior, ye who know Him!
Who can tell how much we owe Him?
Gladly let us render to Him
All we are and have.
Jesus is the Name that charms us,
He for conflict fits and arms us;
Nothing moves and nothing harms us
While we trust in Him.
Trust in Him, ye saints, forever,
He is faithful, changing never;
Neither force nor guile can sever
Those He loves from Him.
Keep us, Lord, O keep us cleaving
To Thyself, and still believing,
Till the hour of receiving
Promised joys with Thee.
Then we shall be where we would be,
Then we shall be what we should be,
Things that are not now, nor could be,
Soon shall be our own.

Hello hello hello!
I'm in after a brief nap with hte kids. :) Trav is still sleeping, Kristi is now hungry. She is almost ready to start crawling. She gets on her stomach, raises up then starts rocking. When her knees get under her correctly, LOOK OUT!!!
gonna go fix a bottle. laters.
I like the new look. Trendy, but calm. good work.
Thanks Karma!
If anyone can't see much difference between this look and what they've been used to seeing, please make sure that you click on "CONTROL-F5" (CTRL-F5) to cause a FORCED REFRESH.
Thanks so much!
Hey Pat I like the new look.
Thank you Oldiesman you have done a great job.
It's completely different, Nita. It's not the same as before at all so you may even have to re-boot. Not sure.
I tried IE, dumped cache and then got the new look! I like it. But after I logged in, the old one came back.....on Firefox and IE. I'm going to reboot now. Thanks, Pat.
Thanks for letting us know, Nita.
I'm off for awhile. Was supposed to pick a person up at 4 pm and it's now 4:15!!!!
Hi everyone. This has been a really good day as have felt good, am rid of the sling on my left arm and this is the last day for the antibiotic (although it hasn't bothered me yesterday or today). My son and I did a lot of errands yesterday. He was a big help. I was tired last evening but had a great night of sleep.
Marilyn, glad that you are feeling better today. Perhaps you will be able to find some cabinets at the Good Well or Salvation Army stores. Do you have any of those in your area. I wondered when I saw your pictures about the cabinets in the kitchen as I knew you like to cook and probably have a full kitchen. I am sure you will work something out.
Jane, glad your mechanic was able to find a used part for your car. These cars are so expensive but we are dependent on them to be able to get around.
Pat, so far I haven't been able to get my browser to show the new appearance. As soon as I finish posting and reading here I will experiment with other browsers. I did clear my cache but that didn't help. I am anxious to see the new appearance.
Liz, I hope your eye procedure goes very well and that there will be no injection or extra bleeding. My good friend, who lives next door, has had to have several lazar procedures.
Karmat, glad to see you are feeling better today.
Ruth Ann, there is a discussion here on CP that lists a number of Christian Music Stations. You can find it under Resources/Links/Christian Music Links. I am sure your new computer will play them. On some of them there is a special program to download but it is free.
Good to see everyone posting. Not going to try to comment on each today.
I like the new look but the pages are jumping all over the place making it very difficult to read.
Ruth
This is getting really frustrating.
I got rid of the cookies, and rebooted. Voila the new screen. Logged in and I am back to the old look. What gives????? I am so puter liilterate that I really don't know what to do.
Judy: It seems that the new look is only when you Log on. At least that is what is is for me
I have started making my Christmas Cards, it could be a first and last but I am having fun just the same. Now I am off to downsize some pictures to e-mail to the cousins I visited with yesterday. The visit was wonderful but my boss was very unhappy because I took the afternoon off.
Ruth
It still looks the same to me too, Not new at all. I did the Crtl f5 andnothing changed now I willt ry the clearing everything and rebooting and see what happens.
I did allthat saw thenew look and as soon as I logged in it went back tot he old way.
TTYL
Please don't use your old bookmarks or favorites as you may be still using the old cookie.
Delete your favorites/bookmarks and use this:

Okay ... I'll add my comments. I ditto Marilyn's post, actually. I cleared all cookies and rebooted and got the new look until I logged in and now it's the same ol' same ol' :-\
I made a slight change in our Control/Admin area.
See if you all see the New Look now.
Yes! Yes! I see it. I was following the same trail blazed by others and faithfully reported, but when I got to your post with the new link, BINGO! I could see it. So then I "organized" my favorites and removed the old CP favorite and set up the new look as the Preferred Favorite. :)
I really like it a lot.
I'm extremely tired tonight, so will probably make my visit "short and sweet."
Each of you mean so much to me - I love you and pray as often throughout the day as possible.
Ruth Ann
Ohhh, I'm so glad Ruth Ann! Whewwwww.... ;D ;D ;D
NOT that you're tired but that you can see the New Look! LOL
Yup, Pat! Whatever you did must have done the trick. I was afraid to log in this time because I wanted to see all there was to see of the new look. Then I got your post (above) and decided I'd try once more ... Yippee!!! It stayed on the new look! :D
Well, I typed this message and it didn't "go" So now I see that's cuz Ruth Ann jumped in front of me! ;D
Hi Ruth Ann

I wasn't getting the new look either until I clicked on Pat's clickable taking me to the Index. Now I have it. Being pessimistic, I hope we don't have to scroll left and right to read the messages.
Remember I ordered a new camera? Well, that was July 10th. I was told then that it would be 3-4 weeks. I called a month ago and it was still on back order. Yesterday, I was told they only get 4-5 cameras like I ordered a week...they buy from companies that ordered too many. And was told that there were 40-50 still ahead of me. So I told him I didn't want to wait another 10 weeks and cancelled it. I ordered from another source and it was shipped today so should get it by Friday. Hooray!!! I am getting a Sony-DSC H1. It has a macro setting and 12 x zoom!!!
I am so behind on my TV shows that I watched them today and still 18 shows behind. So I am off to the TV. <OO> <oo> <OO> <oo> <OO> <oo> <OO> <oo> <OO> <oo>

I'm so glad that everyone is seeing the New Look now and I hope you all enjoy it.
PAT~ I looked at your blog and really love it! I love the photography there -- and the songs. It is really beautiful.
Ohhh, Jane, I'm so glad you did. I hope you commented. I'd love to make it to the "Popular Blogs" and that goes by the number of folks that visit! lol
It's been 11 months since we had this one!

AMAZING GRACE (http://www.christianphotographers.com/sounds/amazinggrace.mid)
(Click title to hear music)
Amazing grace! How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found;
Was blind, but now I see.
'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
And grace my fears relieved;
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed.
Through many dangers, toils and snares,
I have already come;
'Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far,
And grace will lead me home.
The Lord has promised good to me,
His Word my hope secures;
He will my Shield and Portion be,
As long as life endures.
Yea, when this flesh and heart shall fail,
And mortal life shall cease,
I shall possess, within the veil,
A life of joy and peace.
The earth shall soon dissolve like snow,
The sun forbear to shine;
But God, Who called me here below,
Shall be forever mine.
When we've been there ten thousand years,
Bright shining as the sun,
We?ve no less days to sing God's praise
Than when we'd first begun.

I use Firefox....is there a way to widen the new look. I have a margin on both sides that is nothing and where the text in the message is, it is only about 5 inches wide. If I do the CTRL + Scroll it makes the print larger, but it isn't correct. In my above post, at the bottom where I have...<OO> <oo> <OO> <oo>...the old style it was one line!
We'll have to make some adjustments to our posts, Etta Sue.
We now have a Shoutbox and that takes up space and no, I don't think we can widen it but Oldiesmann is reading. He'll let me know the answers. Do you have your page maximized?
Even with the page maximized, there is an empty margin on the right. Also, there is a blank margin to the left of the shout box area ...
Let's try to get used to the look the way it is. It's available for those with many different resolutions that they may have set their PC to.
That's okay with me :)
Thanks Jane!
Time for another one?

As the Deer Panteth for the Water (http://www.christianphotographers.com/sounds/asthedeer.mid)
(Click to hear music)
Written by Martin Nystrom
Psalm 42:1
"As the hart panteth after the water brooks,
so panteth my soul after thee, O God."
As the deer panteth for the water,
So my soul longs after you.
You alone are my hearts desire,
And I long to worship You.
Chorus
You alone are my strength, my shield;
To You alone may my spirit yield.
You alone are my hearts desire,
and I long to worship You.
I want you more than gold or silver,
Only You can satisfy.
You alone are the real joy giver
And the apple of my eye.
Chorus
You alone are my strength, my shield;
To You alone may my spirit yield.
You alone are my hearts desire,
and I long to worship You.
You're my friend and You're my brother,
Even though you are a King.
I love You more than any other
So much more than anything.
Chorus
You alone are my strength, my shield;
To You alone may my spirit yield.
You alone are my hearts desire,
and I long to worship You.

If I could move everything to the right, where we have our profile photos and the message, it only takes up 3 fifths of the screen. The message part takes only half the screen.
I finally got my resolutions set so I could use PSP way back when so setting it different isn't an option for me. And I do have my screen maximized.
Pat, when you post music, do you have to scroll to see all of your animated music thing...can't think what that is called...at the bottom of the words?
Everything looks fine now. I left a comment on Jordan's web psge too Pat. I see youhave also posted 2 of my "favorite" songs, Amazing Grace and As the Deer. Thanks Pat.
I took over another load today and have been doing more packing, I pray I will have it all done by Saturday when the brethren arrive. So all we have to do is load it up and move.
Gonna look around some more now.
Thanks OldiesMan
I'll get used to it but it does seem that it should take up the whole page instead of margins on both sides.

No, Etta Sue, I don't have to scroll.
Etta Sue, what is your resolution set to?
I don't have to scroll either and mine is set at 800 X 600. I didn't change my settings for PSP because it made it smaller and didn't use up my whole monitor screen I still have at least a inch on 3 sides of the window now..
Everything is working fine for me now. Sorry you have to scroll, Etta Sue.
Thanks Nita... Glad it's working for you.
Well ... I have to scroll! :( Just a little, tho.
The whole net right now is geared to resolution being set to 1024 by 768
I was very reluctant to set mine at that a couple of years ago. I screamed (not out loud) that I couldn't read it! It was too small.
But you know what? I can read it and I have mine set at that all the time now.
It's long, long ago that the internet made web pages for 800 by 600.
So, if you don't have yours set to 1023 by 768, you'll have to scroll.
So right you are, Pat! I just resized mine and I don't have to scroll. It is hard to read but we know how to enlarge the print, don't we? ;)
Yes, Jane. Thanks for trying.
I just resized mine too. Sure is small. All my desktop icons are tiny. hahahaha
It's amazing you you get used to it, Marilyn. I could never go back to 800 x 600 now. But I sure thought I could a couple of years ago when I resized.
OK Problem solved. I can now post.
It is late. I just finish typing up John's testimony and it took quite a while. Pat I wish I had your skill.
We have a meeting tomorrow, I didn't get the buttertarts made, wound up with other more important things to do. I will still bring some down for you when we come pat.
GTG will be back late tomoorrow
Love Judy
That's ok, Judy! I don't need them. At least my body doesn't. I love them and yours are tops!
Thanks Pat,
Our cousin in CA sent this today and I am still laughing!!!
This is the way one guy answered a telemarketer's call.
The phone rang as I was setting down to my anticipated evening meal, and as I answered it I was greeted with, "Is this William Wagenhoss?"
This didn't sound anything like my name, so I asked, "Who is calling?"
The telemarketer said he was with The Rubber band-Powered Freezer Company or something like that
Then I asked him if he knew William personally and why was he was calling this number.
I then said off to the side, "Get really good pictures of the body and all the blood."
I then turned back to the phone and advised the caller that he had entered a murder scene and must stay on the line because we had already traced this call and he would be receiving a summons to appear in the local courthouse to testify in this murder case.
I then questioned the caller at great length as to his name, address, hone number at home, at work, who he worked for, how he knew the dead guy and could he prove where he had been about one hour before he made this call.
The telemarketer was getting very concerned and his answers were given in a shaky voice. I proceeded to tell him we had located his position at his work place and the police were entering the building to take him into custody.
At that point, I heard the phone fall and the scurrying of his running away.
My wife asked me as I returned to our table, why I had tears streaming down my face and so help me, I couldn't tell her for about fifteen minutes.
Cute one Judy!
I like the new look. I got it right away from my old settings. I have changed my screen size, and am not sure that I care for the smaller look, but am sure I will get used to it. I am not going to change it back until I check out a couple of my other favourite sites and see if there is improvement there also.
I was supposed to be off today, and had hoped to get many things accomplished. I suspected that I wouldn't be allowed to have that day, and at 7.40 this morning was proven right. "ring ring....can you work 10-5" so off I went and my errands had to be done at the end of the day. Another full day of work tomorrow, so am really looking forward to Thursday off. Now time to head for bed. Night everyone.
Sue, I couldn't stand it when I first changed it. I thought to myself that there was no use being on the net if I couldn't see the sites!
Well, now I just couldn't get used to 800 x 600 again. It's massive and I love this size. And most sites are built for this.
I have my screen size set at 1125 x 864. It's been that for so long that I couldn't imagine it being bigger.
Anyway.......we're all getting there, so all is well. :)
I've been gone a lot today, and just got back on here. What a change! The wait was good, though - I didn't have any trouble at all. I think it's great, though the margins are a bit wide. But hey - it works. Thank you, Oldiesman, and thank you, Pat, and thank You, Lord, for this wonderful site.
Thanks Judy, for the laugh. I just might use that one on the next one to call here!
I love the new look ;D
I don't know if I understand the shout box ???
Pat, your blog is neat, I like it!
Thanks for visiting my Blog, Suzanne! ;D At the bottom of the main forum page, you can always see who's online so if you see "Rich" online, you can say in the Shoutbox, "Hi Rich!" You can have an instant chat with whoever is on at the same time as you.
Now it's time to open our new New Every Morning for today...
