Morning Devotional...He went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God. Luke 6:12
Before choosing the twelve apostles, our Lord spent the whole night in prayer. As the perfect servant, He was always desirous of doing the will of God, the Father.
We also should seek the same.
Prayer is imperative! It is our power station and storehouse of inexhaustible resources.
Go to the Throne of Grace for wisdom, guidance, protection, and faithfully intercede on behalf of others.
How is your prayer life?
--E. MacLelland
O Thou by whom we come to God,
The Life, the Truth, the Way!
The path of prayer Thyself hast trod:
Lord, teach us how to pray!
--James Montgomery
Praise God from Whom all blessings flow !!
You just have to believe me on this one ... God has blessed me today in more ways than I can count. For one: Some of His favorite angels listened to His voice and sent me enough to cover some of my needs. God is good and I mean ALL the time. :D I have been hearing His voice all day today--in Bible reading, in prayer, in just listening to the still small voice ... Our God is an AWESOME God! :D ;D :D
P.S. The postmark on the envelope that carried this blessing to me is September 3 ..... That was the date of Bev's homegoing. I really believe the Lord has plans for me that are akin to those for Elisha after Elijah was taken. Pastor Bev was my Elijah ... I await God's orders and guidance.
Hi dear Jane. I was just trying to post on Sept 8, but Pat had locked the door. After I'd written a nice long post too. :)
Pat, thanks for keeping my user name and not throwing me out the back door. I think I've come full circle, the rain has come, and I'll be at the computer much more. And to be really honest, Bev's death (and life) have done things in my heart that cause me to be so grateful for friends and I'm wanting to feel close again. I know there have been many times when God pulled me aside, and seemingly away from the computer, but still......as Jane knows so well, part of it is me.....and I don't know why I do it. There are times when I just can't seem to communicate. I'm sorry.
Jane called me today, overwhelmed, in awe, and in tears to tell me of God's blessing. She has consistantly laid her needs before the Lord, and she would sometimes tell Him of her needs......and she has told me God would often say, "But you don't need it today". And she always agreed and surrendered it to Him. The rains have come and the days and evenings are coolor now. I can just imagine God speaking to His special angels and saying "Today is the day".
I'm blessed by this and have been smiling even since she called me.
Sorry I couldn't wait till it's really tomorrow...haha....but I see, Jane, you couldn't wait either. God is sooooo Good.
Yes, NITA ---ALL THE TIME! :D
It's SO good to see you here Nita!
Someday (I keep saying) we'll just have to get up there to Coos Bay and see you two!
Jane I am so pleased for you that He sent the blessing to you. I have thought so often of you and your pastor, and all that losing such a dear friend has meant to you. But, as you morn rejoice in the fact that she is facing the Almighty God and is in His presence right now and for eternity. That is such a comfort to me as I think of those who have gon ahead. I have often wished to go home myself!
Today marks the 7th anniversary of the burial of my dear Father In Law. Mother is here and it is going to be a difficult day if she has the date pointed out to her. She is so lonely without her dear Frank. Those of you who have lost a spouse will understand where she is at, even 7 tears later.
John is in Colorado this week. He had the opportunity to travel west at the same time as dear friends. It was good to get caught up in their family news. Pray for John as he travels, he is tired this trip.
Well bye for now
Love to all
JudyB
Hi ms Pat ;D
This devotional it is a easy one for me today. I do talk with God 8) and I do try hard to do what is His wish each day. Sometimes it is hard for me to undarstand why I am to so some things, but I do most often undarstand it after it is done. -It is my wonder why I worry as I do :-\
Ms Jane I am SO happy it is a good day for you today. ;D
Ms Nita it is WONDERFUL to see you are here today. I miss you.
Hi Mr Moak ;D (((hug)))

Good morning everyone and thank you Pat for the devotional this morning. It really is a great start to the day to be reminded of the importance of prayer. Really, the main aim of our arch enemy (old smutty face) is to cut off communion with God. While we are praying, even the weakest saint makes the enemy tremble. It is good to receive this encouragement this morning.
It has been a great blessing to read the posts this morning. They are so full of joy:
Jane, thank you for sharing your joy with us this morning. Only a christian could rejoice after what you and your church has recently gone through.
Nita, how lovely to see you posting this morning and to sense the rejoicing that is in your heart too.
Al, thank you for your input too and it's good to have fellowship with you again.
Meika, it is lovely to see you this morning. I am still working on that post; it is now 10 pages long and has lots of pictures and sound and video clips on ;D I'll post it to you one day. Seriously, it is lovely to see you.
I do not know how the young man involved in the accident is, but thank you for your prayers, and I will keep you all informed as to what is going on with him.
See y'all later.
Anthony.

Hello Everyone...
Thank-you Pat for that Devotional. This fits in for me. I have just e mailed a dear sister-in-Christ to tell her I am making extra effort with my prayers...I am kneeling (It hurts with my arthritis) but already I am receiving blessings of answered prayer.
Although some would think I have a quiet life. One cannot always quiet one's mind and I truly have felt the need to become "still" and shut out the world........
Nita I understand..about C.P. Even if you try to get away the Holy Spirit brings you back here again. Jesus loves this site and He loves us all so much. God is so Good!
I am going to wash some curtains from my bedroom this morning as it is a nice dry morning although very cold. The sun is shining however...Praise God!
Hello Anthony........Hope all's well in dear Wolverhampton! Hope you are feeling "in the pink".
Hello dear Judy B....I will write soon.
Mieka, Al, Nita, Jane,..........Blessings,
and love in the Name of Our Lord Jesus' Christ , to all who pop in today.
Good morning all

Pat, I agree with the others that the devotional is very meaningful this morning. Participating in this site certainly has helped me focus on my Bible reading and prayer life and to shut out a few of the distractions of the world.
Jane, it is wonderful to read your praise message this morning. What a great way to start the day. God does provide for us very well. Unfortunately I fear that sometimes we don't give the credit where it is due.
Nita, good to see you posting and will be looking forward to more of your messages here on CP.
Mieka, good to see your sense of humor in tact and Anthony, nice to see you posting with us again with your devotional thoughts.
I have a busy day today so won't try to name many names. I did get yesterday's postings read last evening but was so tired I don't remember much of what I read. It will take me a day or so to read the other day's postings that occurred while we were away.
We had a wonderful trip and the Golden Wedding Anniversary was so nice. There were about 50 out-of-town friends there from 10 different states. Ken and Ann, who were celebrating their 50th, have been in the ministry for over 50 years and for 25 of those years Ken was the executive in charge of Ridgecrest, which is the Southern Baptist retreat center in North Carolina. Ann had worked for many years at one of the Baptist colleges in that area. They are wonderful friends and that was reflecfed back in the comments of everyone who attended. We were treated to a lovely reception in the afternoon and then a banquet that evening. One of their daughters lives in an exclusive country club community outside of Louisville and the celebrations were held in the country club dining room.
We had a great time in the car with our friends from church with whom we made the trip and had the opportunity to get to know them better than we had. We talked and laughed all the way there and back. They are fine Christian people. We had the opportunity to visit the county-side where all the fine Kentucky horse farms are located and we stopped at a little town of Midway (close to where we used to live) which has been restored with lots of little shops and eating places. On Sunday morning we went to the Shaker Village at Pleasant Hill, Kentucky, and had a very interesting day there, including attending a singing and a representation of a Shaker funeral. We spent the night in the Village. Unfortunately, Jane, the lady of the other couple, left her purse at the home of Ken and Ann so we had to drive about 75 miles back to their house Sunday evening to get it. We left yesterday morning and drove home through the mountain down through Knoxville, Tennessee and got home about 6:30 pm. After a good nights sleep I feel much better today.
See you all later.
It's good to see a few more posting this afternoon (or is it this morning ;D)
Jenny, I am glad that the devotional was so meaningful for you. I did not realise that you were troubled with arthritis and don't overdo things and hurt yourself.
Ria, thank you for translating the prayer. I must say that your English is a hundred times better than my Dutch. It was a pleasure to read the prayer today.
Larry, it's good to see you back and thanks for your welcoming words. I am glad that your trip was so enjoyable. How nice to be able to spend time with brothers and sisters in the Lord. Was the Golden Anniversary of your wife and yourself? Congratulations if so.
Well, must carry on with some work. See y'all later.
Anthony.
Good morning everyone.
Pat-obviously you've hit on a much needed devotional this morning. Of course, the Lord knew what we needed to hear. It's funny how we tend to let the littlest things keep us from doing the most important thing!
Meika-it's great to see you. I agree, sometimes I wonder why God has me do what He has me doing, but it always turns out right in the end. Kind of silly how we can question Him so much, He is the everlasting God!
Ria-how have you been feeling lately? I'm glad you got some rain as well.
Anthony-Good to see you back and posting again. Sounds like you're having a pretty cheerful morning! Keep us updated if you find anything out about the young man and the accident.
JudyB-We can pray for John's safety. I will also be praying for your mother in law. I am sure it will be a difficult day for her.
Jane-I'm so glad to hear that you have been provided for! I'm sure it was a tough battle, waiting on your knees to hear His voice give you the comfort you sought. But it's always worth it to wait on Him.
Nita-I'm sure Jane appreciates a wonderful friend in you. How are you doing? It's great to see you back!
Larry-good to hear you had a good trip the other day. How are you doing?
I'm sorry if I've missed others. I'll try to make it up later. God bless you all. Jen.
Thank You all.
Today is also our brother Murray's birthday, as well as Ruthie's sister's birthday. Ruth say happy birthday to Lorraine.
Love to all
Judy
Pat: Thank you for today's devotions and most of all - thank you for fixing my Happy Birthday message to Etta Sue!.
Mieka: What a beautiful Taco Bell in China. Thank you for sending the picture to all. Carol
Larry: I am happy to learn that you are back safe and sound from your trip to Kentucky. Oh, hard to drive the extra mileage - she could have had the purse Fed-Xed. Carol
I just lost my post, hit the wrong key. Drat!!!!! ???
Pat what an awesome and timely devotonal this morning. I needed that!! Thank you!! ;)
Last night I spent many hours in prayer complaining to the Lord about the sin sickness of the world today, The godless people and their sinful ways. In the middle of which I heard the Lord speaking to my heart telling me "Look at yourself, I already know about what's going on in the world".
After a couple more hours of looking at myself and confessing my sins to my Father, casting all my cares upon Him and coming back to trusting in Him. He told me that I am not a doormat for anyone I am a child of God. That brought the breakthrough I needed.
This morning I feel much closer to my Father and in so much awe of His awesome power. I am in a state of reverence today.
Jane: you are so right that God is so good all the time. I don't know why I have backslidden and took back my trust in Him. He has been so good to me and blessed me more than I have ever asked Him for. Bless you dear sister, you are the epitome of faith in God for ALL our needs. Thank you Jane.
I won't name everyone today, but please know that I love you all. I am grateful to be here on CP and to know each and everyone of you.
TTYL
Good morning all. What a powerful devotion. I, too, do not know where my strength comes from when it is needed. I thank God for all his blessings, gifts and love.
Mieka ~ Well, I hope that Taco Bell goes well with the Chinese and their diet. I really don't know which food I like best...Chinese or Mexican. But the Mexicans eating Chinese food has been noticed several times...but no Chinese in the Mexican restaurants. Maybe their family back home will tell their families here to go to Taco Bell!!!!
Today is a cloudy day....partly sunny. I am waiting on a delivery....my birthday present from Tony and Charlene...they wouldn't deliver it yesterday. If it comes right away then I will take Jerry for a blood test. If not, he will get his blood test early tomorrow morning. I have a DDS appointment at 11am tomorrow. I need to mow the yard today and then Jerry and I have a meeting at church tonight. Busy, busy!
I pray that God blesses your day today and every day.

It's looking to be a busy day here on CP, and that's always a good thing.
Larry, glad you had an enjoyable trip, and so happy you're safely back home.
Where is Papa John?
Good to hear your praise report, Jane! Yes, God is so good, all the time and in all ways. He gives good gifts and he gives them in good ways. I'm thanking Him for and with you today.
Ria, good to see you today, and I hope your day is pain free and blessed.
Mieka! You are such a joy! Bless you!
Hi there, Jen! Have a great day.
Anthony, how are you doing? It's so nice to have you with us again. How about some photos now, huh? Huh? ;D ;D
Jenny, it's always good to hear from you. I hope that old arthritis gets better quickly! Thanks for your email.
Carol, how are you? Good to hear from you today!
Hello, JudyB! Hi, Al!
Nita! How nice to see you posting again. We welcome you with open arms, and I understand. Sometimes I just don't know what to say, either. (Not often, I usually say too much!) :-X
I am going to help Darrel pull wire again today at the high school, so must get off here and be ready to go.
Good morning, Pat! :)
Marilyn, you came in as I was posting. I'm so happy to read of your breakthrough, those reports encourage the rest of us. Thank you for your willingness to share. I love you!
Etta Sue, I know what you mean about staying busy. But yesterday, I was so "shattered" I did almost nothing. Then I feel guilty, for not accomplishing anything. Why is that? Do any of the rest of you struggle with that problem? Or is it because of the way I was raised?

Welcome PATMEEKS!
We're so happy to be able to welcome you here!
WELCOME, PATMEEKS!!
If I hurry, I can still say, "Good Morning Everyone" (at least in this part of Canada!
It's so nice to come and see all of the posts! I'm busy clearing out my buffet and hutch so that it can be moved in order to put my new pantry cupboard to the right of it. Lots of work!
It was so wonderful to see our
Nita here last night. Please continue to come back Nita. We also would love to see more of your wonderful photo from the Oregon coast. (Sorry for slamming the door in your face last night!)
I'm so happy,
Jane, to hear how the Lord worked in your time of need. Thanks for sharing with us. Truly, we have a wonderful Father!
Good photo,
Mieka! So glad, Mieka, that the devotional was meaningful to you today. I found it so as well.
Anthony, what a great name for our arch enemy "Old Smutty Face"!
QuoteWhile we are praying, even the weakest saint makes the enemy tremble.
How true! That's a great thought to carry through the day.
Oh, please do go up to Coos Bay,
Al and get some photos of these two! I'm sure you'll have a great time with them.
JudyB, tell John's Mum that I truly understand what she's going through remembering her days with her husband. It's something that is so difficult to cope with. By the way, I think you're a day early with Murray's birthday! ;)
Jenny, oh goodness! My curtains all need washing. When my pantry cupboard gets organized, then I'll start on some of my "spring cleaning" (about six months early or six months late! ;D )
Great to see you posting too,
Ria! Sorry it's cold. There's an autumn bite in the air here too in the evening. I love this time of year. Thanks for translating the prayer! I really enjoy reading your messages. You are so proficient in English.
Larry, thanks for the kind words. I'm so happy when people receive a blessing from the words that I'm led to post. Your trip to Kentucky sounds as if it was certainly a nice trip for you. Whose care did you go in? Did you do all the driving? I sure hope that you'll be able to make it up here before long. It's also encouraging to me to know that you've been blessed in your Christian life by our forums. I am also.
Yes,
Jen, sounds as if prayer is a really good topic. I'm so happy that you also were blessed. Its always so good to remember our brothers and sisters in the Lord. Speaking of this, let's remember to keep our
Iain in our daily prayers.
Carol, you're very welcome. I hope that people don't mind when they see "Edited by Pat Scott" at the bottom of their messages! It's just fixing some of the coding that I'm doing. Larry does it too. We'll never change any of your words. :o
I encourage you all to please feel free to go to our little Practice area and fool around with all of the features. Besides having some fun, it's great to learn new things.
I'm sorry you lost your post,
Marilyn! But I'm so happy for you that the devotional today was a blessing to you. It's such a blessing to us all to spend a long time in prayer with our Heavenly Father. Thanks so much for sharing with us. I'm praying for you daily, Marilyn.
Etta Sue, it's so sunny here in Guelph! If I had my curtains open in here, I wouldn't be able to see my monitor! Give that
Jerry a big hug for me. We sure miss him here.
Hi Janet! I was so interested in reading about your going down to get that girl in the scuba diving class. I don't think I could do that. ::) I think I like to swim on the top of the water. ;) Enjoy your pulling wires with Darrel today. Hope we see you later.
Well, back to my emptying of my hutch and buffet...
Talk to you all later.
Maybe we could all sing this together! (I know that Jane is!)

How can I say thanks
for the things you have done for me?
Things so undeservered,
Yet You gave to prove Your love to me?
The voices of a million angels
Could not express my gratitude.
All that I am and ever hope to be
I owe it all to Thee.
To God be the glory,
To God be the glory,
To God be the glory,
For the things He has done.
With His blood
He has saved me,
With His power
He has raised me,
To God be the glory
For the things He has done.
Just let me live my life
Let it be pleasing, Lord, to Thee;
And should I gain any praise,
Let it go to Calvary.
With His blood
He has saved me
With His pow'r
He has raised me,
To God be the glory

Welcome New Pat! ;D I'm just back after a long absence, so we can be new together.
It's good to read all the posts and see what everyone is doing and learning.
It'll take me awhile to get caught up again, but I'm reading all the posts, especially in Have You Prayed About It.
It rained last night and I could actually hear it when I awoke during the night. I just love that sound....and season changes always invoke such a feeling of well.....change. haha Isn't God good? He gives us change in the midst of the security of eternal sameness. Our Father..
Have a blessed day everyone, and thanks for welcoming me back so sweetly.
WELCOME
PAT MEEKS
We are so glad you have joined us. Come in and tell us about yourself.
Pat you are right I am a day early for all three. Murray is the 10th, Lorraine is the 10th, and Dad was the 10th. I often thought what a day for Murray to be a pall bearer on his birthday! I will tell Mom though.
Strange that I was out usually Elizabeth corrects me. She is a very precise child. She tried to hurry her math yesterday and got all the answers wrong. She is the slowest worker that i have ever known, (slower than I was Pat!) but rarely does she have corrections to do. I will sacrifice speed for accuracy any day! Kass is the opposite. she is fast and sacrifices the accuracy all the time and then gets upset for making mistakes.
Marilyn I struggle like you do. Keep on keeping on sis!
Anthony you are so right when you say the weakest praying saint makes the enemy tremble. I will hang on to that today and tomorrow as I work through the day
It seems the sun is almost brighter yesterday and today than it is in the summer. Last night I saw the most beautiful scene. The moon was almost full and as I passed the river there was a mist rising off the water, and the moon was shining down on the water. It was beautiful. What you don't see when you leave the camera at home! If the sky is clear tonight I will see if the scene is the same, probably not, and I am not sure the best way to take the pic!
Well back to the school work, Bye for now
Love all
Judy
We are rejoicing with Jane at God's grace!

Janet, thanks for asking about me. I am right here lurking about and reading the posts.
I must say that I haven't felt very well for several days. I hate to complain though because so many others have more serious problems. My back continues to be a problem every day. Also I have pain in my right arm and leg from the stroke I had several years ago. And I also am bothered by this eating problem. So there, I have done my complaining for the day.
I am thankful every day for the salvation I have in Christ. When I think about God's mercy, about his love and Grace. I am thankful God has made us free to chose, that he has placed before us the wonderful gift of his Son who gives us the invitation:
"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." Matt 11:28-30
I think of how God's love reaches out to all who will come to Him.
"And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely." Rev 22:17
On that wonderful Pentecost day after Jesus' resurrection and ascension into heaven Peter explained how prophecy was being fulfilled. Joel had spoken of those days and had said, "And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved." Acts 2:21
When they were pricked in their heart they asked what they should do. (Acts 2:37} and
"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." Acts 2:38
Let us praise God every day that God loves us and Jesus died for us and he has given us his gospel which is his power to save. I hope God will bless each one of you today.

Dear Chris and Margit
What a nice webpage is that they you have writen
in your message.
What a nice songs.
Thank you
Love Ria :)
I am very, very sorry, Papa John, that you haven't been feeling well. It's so nice to see you here. Thanks so much for the devotional message you've given us. I pray that you'll receive relief very, very soon for the pain you are suffering and also that you will get your appetite back.
God bless you richly!
A quick stopby to read the postings since this morning. We had a fine registration with over 50 new SeniorNet folks to take our classes and 50 or so folks taking additional classes. It was the biggest group we have had for a year or so. I didn' get away until after 12 noon. Then stopped at a family restruant across for the church for a quick chef salad and then we had a fine time singing at Calvin Cove. I came home exhilirated but a bit tired so was going to lay down for an hour (which turned into 90 minutes) and now feel refreshed. I have lots of things to get caught up on so will be busy for the next few days.
Pat, we went in our friend's car as they have a large Mercury that drove like a dream and was very comfortable. We supplied the gas and they provided the car. I did do a majority of the driving as it was mostly on the Interstate. I have to admit that Pat and I were glad to get home last night as we were very tired and decided it was probably a good thing that we didn't need to drive on North on this trip, as much as we wanted to do so. I think we are going to have to fly up to Michigan and rent a car and do our visiting that way at a later date.
Anthony, this was the 50th wedding anniversary for good friends of our who joined our current church at the same time we did. We, and the three other couples who went from here, were their Presyterian friends from that phase in their life. They have now returned to a little Southern Baptist church in Kentucky. On Sunday morning we were invited to their beautiful new home for a Continential breakfast.
Papa John, sure sorry to read that the last few days have been so tough for you pain-wise. It is always uplifting to read your postings with the scripture references.
Welcome to Pat Meeks.

It was a looooong day today. When I left home to go to work it was raining and foggy. By the time I got back home the sun had been out for a few hours and the day was beautiful God is so Good. Bea and I went to Hunan Village to eat. We got there right at 2 pm and the buffet had just closed so we had the supper meals. She had Shezuan shrimp. Mmm good. I ad one with chicken, shrimp, beef and veggies on a bed of noodles. I forgot what it is called. mine was good too. I brought about 1/2 of it home.
My Pastor's mother called me with some prayer requests. I am posting 3 here so every one will see them.

A man with stomach Cancer 3 weeks to live.
Geraldine heart trouble 1 year to live.
See y-all later.
Hello everyone. I hope you are having a good evening/night/morning, whatever it is, wherever you are.
Busy, busy day today. It was good though. I am in a women's Bible study (not the post abortion group, that is another story) and we have studied two of Beth Moore's books in the past, but now we are going through Experiencing God -- Knowing and Doing God's Will. I have done it before, but it was several years ago, and it is amazing how much I am getting out of it again. God is awesome.
I am having some problems with my allergies. We could almost make a calendar based on when they will "flare up." Of course with 10-14 varieties of wildflowers blooming along my driveway (not to mention trees) at any given time, is it any wonder? A good friend of mine went to the doctor, and he told her she needed to move. Apparently Western North Carolina is one of the worst places in the nation for allergies -- we have such an abundance of "stuff" that triggers them. I also learned that the Southern Appalachians are considered a rainforest. Gotta check documentation on that!
Travis sends a hug to Etta, Etta. You wouldn't believe how many more words he is saying. We've left the world of one syllable, and are venturing into short sentences. Mama, up. Da, side. (Daddy, let's go outside). Beeno (Bingo) -- foo, wawa (Bingo needs food and water). It's hilarious.
Toddlers are fun. But boy am I tired!
Have a great one ya'll!
Just had to share this:
You Know You're Living in the Year 2003 when...
1. Your reason for not staying in touch with family is because they do not have e-mail.
2. You have a list of 15 phone numbers to reach your
family of three.
3. Your grandmother asks you to send her a JPEG file
of your newborn so she can create a screen saver.
4. You pull up in your own driveway and use your cell
phone to see if anyone is home.
5. Every commercial on television has a web site
address at the bottom of the screen.
6. You buy a computer and 3 months later it's out of
date and sells for half the price you paid.
7. Leaving the house without your cell phone, which
you didn't have the first 20 or 30 (or 60) years of
your life, is now a cause for panic and you turn
around to go get it.
8. Using real money, instead of credit or debit, to
make a purchase would be a hassle and take planning.
9. You just tried to enter your password on the
microwave.
10. You consider second-day air delivery painfully
slow.
11. Your dining room table is now your flat filing
cabinet.
12. Your idea of being organized is multiple-colored
Post-it notes.
13. You hear most of your jokes via e-mail instead of
in person.
14. You get an extra phone line so you can get phone
calls.
15. You disconnect from the Internet and get this
awful feeling, as if you just pulled the plug on a
loved one.
16. You get up in the morning and go online before
getting your coffee.
17. You wake up at 2 AM to go to the bathroom and
check your E-mail on your way back to bed.
18. You start tilting your head sideways to smile. ; )
19. You're reading this and nodding and laughing.
20. Even worse; you know exactly who you are going to forward this to!
Just dropping in to say hello before Pat shuts the door. Good night all. "Thy love stay with me through the night until the morning brings its light".

Well I have finally order my digital camera. A Kodak DX4330 3.1 mega pixel.
Woo Hoo as Karmat would say.
Can't wait to get it. I odered it for Tiger Direct in Miami Florida. I got my printer from there. Now I will have to buy some color ink for my printer, been out for months.
Certainly can relate to prayer. I find myself praying when walking, sitting on the beach, in a bus....Have never quite had the discipline to develop a regular routine like some folks. Used to pray at my desk at work and no one was ever the wiser. Belive God has always heard my requests and praise. Can never pray without praising the Lord for his goodness.
Went back to the dr. today about an ongoing problem and have to wait 3 months to see the specialist. Was instructed to double the amount of the prescription and the government is fighting me over paying for what I now take....They are going to force everyone to go on another medication at the end of this year and try a substitute....if it causes to many problems, they will reluctantly consider returning to the old presciption if my doctor fills out many forms on my behalf. I now pay full price for some medications and on a small budget, that is a problem. Have had this battle about other important meds. that I must take and am now so weary of the whole process. So folks in other parts of the world....our medical is not all that terrific!!!
Now that has been said, will count my blessings and remember that we are still more fortunate than so many other folks around the world. How ever can folks survive in this world without having the Lord to turn to?
Feel better for having read all the posts and will continue to pray for all the needs...God Bless, Liz.
