Janet:  I just wish our son would phone more often and not throw the blame on mom and dad for not calling him.  At the present our daughter is texting which is the best way at present.

Larry: I have a knee that is giving me problems in fact at the present it is 7 months since it all started. I am seeing improvement,  I do only small jobs as the pain can be rough. At least I am able to get more sleep at night as the pain is not waking me up near as much.

No other news except to say it was a gorgeous day.

Ruth, I think most parents would enjoy hearing from their grown kids more often.  I know I would!~  But when it gets too long, I go ahead and pick up the phone and call them!  Better than stewing over it!

Thanks for your comments on my last story.

We had a good service this morning, took Beth along and she stayed awake almost the whole time!

I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoy reading all your posts!  I am, as you know, in an assisted living arramgeemt here.  I have my own room and one roommate.,  I use an electrically motorized scooter to get to the dining hall, etc.  My son Joel lives quite close, so I see him almost daily.  They have fairly decent food here.  My roommate is quite a decent fellow, so we get along quite well.
I look in on y'all almost every day.  God bless!

Hey there Al!     It's sure great to see you here :excited:  I figured you were looking in pretty often but, like me, just "observing" from the sidelines.

BTW Pat and Judy ... I remembered the name of the plants also known as mother-in-law's tongue .... my mother always referred to her plants by their botanically correct name and I heard "sansevieria" a lot, along with many others for which we use their "common" name.   :)
