From Chris Saunders
"But we see Jesus, Who was made a little lower than the Angels for the suffering of death, crowned with Glory and Honour, that He by the grace of God, should taste death for every man." Heb. 2
Magnificent! Glory be to God..
Our Saviour had to be conceived of a human by the Holy spirit so that He might die like a man, upon a cruel cross, He had to be flesh and blood which the angels are not.He did indeed suffer all the things that we do, weariness, thirst, hunger, anguish. A total human being bore the sins of the whole world.. None of His own, being sinless, but the filthy sins of the human race, in the most brutal death, your sins and mine, were offered to the Father, on Christ, laid upon Him, and willingly He did this.. to redeem us.
Glory to God, we are redeemed by the precious blood of the Lamb of God, He Who knew no sin, became sin for us, that we might be forever free from the penalty for sinning, which is death and hell. Made a little lower than the Angels but now seated at the Father's right hand in glory. Thank You Lord. Amen.

After my bus run this morning I took the opportunity to go out and explore God's creation.....
If you have some autumn pictures, share them so we can all enjoy them!
Beautiful photo Judy
Thankyou Marilyn
I agree, i simply love trees..
It is a beautiful sunny and crisp cold today. We had good news that a cousin had a crisis while in surgery but with prayers and care, he is resting well today. Giving thanks for all we have.
Has anyone kept in touch with Janet? I wish she could return. Take care all!
Thank you for the devotional, Judy. Your picture was lovely. So glad fall is finally here in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. It's been really hot up until Saturday. I had an outdoor family photo shoot on Friday - everyone enthusiastic for fall with their flannel shirts and scarves. It ended up 85 degrees by the end of the day. We were all pretty sweaty by the end. Today it is quite crisp! The colors are also finally starting to get vibrant. Hope you are all well!

Trees fascinate me, they give us oxygen and purify our air, stand tall - strong and majestic for years and years... i simply love the colours of leaves in Autumn, the reds - oranges and yellows...
Thank you Jenny! That is beautiful!
The colour is about gone here. The maple trees have dropped their leaves, Oak tree leaves as rusty burgundy/brown and the aspen are turning golden They are usually the last to turn colour and drop their leaves. Even the tamaracks are turning yellow...
The temperatures have dropped, I need a coat for the bus run, thankfully the bus warms up quickly. We had snow on Thursday night Friday morning... That is fine, I love the clean whiteness of snow.
Today has been a lazy day, I'm alone so I can do as I wish...(lol) and spent most of my time listening to the Gaither's and David Phelps. I love David's voice, he has an incredible range!
Our church got the all clear from the health unit this week No new cases of Covid. God is good, no one needed hospitalization. I thanked Pastor John for following the guidelines.... We miss church, however at least when we go we can be assured that we will not get sick!
God bless you all!
Hello Judy!
SNOW!?!? It is very beautiful. We are just turning colors now. I think it'll peak next week then I guess we'll be heading into snow again as well. I'm glad you've been able to go back to church and fellowship in person again. The Gaithers and David Phelps are both pretty popular around here. You're right about David's range. I hope you have a peaceful autumn.
Judy...i attend a Baptist church but we still have to wear mouth - nose coverings...I do tend to lower mine when we sing as wearing glasses they tend to steam up.. :)
Judy - Jenny...no snow here yet ( UK ) but if and when we do get it, it usually is January, oh how i would love to see snowflakes falling on Christmas Day, but a rarity here in England..
Being car collected soon to be taken for my Covid vaccination, my third dose, my six month booster....I think our mask wearing is becoming our normality...
Janet...
...where are you, getting mighty lonely in here...
Hello Jackie and Jenny, Our weather has returned to what is normal. Those Bomb Cyclone days were terrible with the rain and wind. We have survived.
Not much is new here, I am going to lunch with a friend. We usually go every Friday as it gives me a break.
I am my husband's full time caregiver, he has Alzheimer's disease. I can leave him alone for a couple of hours. He never leaves the house so I don't worry about going places as long as I am not gone more than 2 hours.
I have some books coming, one i will give as a thank you to the man who takes me to, and brings me home from our church do's...he is very active within our church, and is a Godsend to me...I had some of her books before but, stupidly gave them away to a charity collection...The books coming again are Joni Eareckson Tada...
Marilyn...
....you need that short break...
Hello Marilyn!
I'm glad you survived that Bomb Cyclone. The weather has been pretty crazy all over this year here in the US. I think all over the world too. You said it returned to normal - what is normal is your part of the country?
I hope you had a wonderful lunch on Friday and feel refreshed. Also, I am sorry about your husband. How are you dealing with it all?
Your Friend,
Jenny S:o)

Hello Jacqueline!
Let me know how you enjoy the books. Joni Erickson Tada is such an inspiration. Her accident occurred close to where we live. Her really good friend, Steve Estes, is a pastor at a local church here in Elverson. He wrote some good books too. I believe he's the pastor who married Joni and Ken Tada - I could be wrong on that fact though. Anyway, I think he wrote the Chet Bitterman biography. Chet lived here in Lancaster then went on to be a missionary. He was kidnapped and killed by revolutionaries in 1981 in Colombia.
Hope you are well, Jacqueline!
Your Friend,
Jenny S:o)

Jenny I live in Northern California, a little town called Arcata. Well not so little it is a college town so lots of Students in the school year.
Normal weather for here is Sunshine and then Rain, a lot of days of rain. It gets colder in winter sometime to freezing temperatures. In Summer the highest it gets is around the low 70's. Sun today rain expected tonight.
Well it's time for Freckles (my service dog) and I to leave for church.
God Bless all y'all.
Jenny...as the well known quote goes " what a small world it is " how uncanny that you live so close to Joni Eareckson Tada's good friend...I have come across his name in the book..This morning being collected for church i handed over the book " Heaven Your Real Home " to the lovely man who takes me and brings me home from our various church groups...he is very active in our church..
...I also now have another copy of this book for myself and the Diamonds In The Dust devotional...Yes what an inspiration she is...I never realised until last nights reading that she is 72, a tad older than me...
Marilyn...
... sounds similar to our todays weather, heavy rain this morning followed by dry and sun poking through but cold....
Actually, we went to the church Steve Estes pastors many, many years ago when my first husband worked out near Elverson. The 2 of us had just gotten saved, and my husband's boss went to Steve Estes's church; so they invited us. My husband and I were UNchurched. We came from a totally nonChristian background. Well, hope your friend enjoys the book as much as you. I'm so glad you have people like that who are there for you.
Pastor Steve Estes....Brick Lane Community Church....Friend of Joni Eareckson Tada...
Great stuff! THANK YOU, Jacqueline!
