I love chocolate, too, and it is the only thing on the list I  would consider "comfort food."  And I also love that hymn!!

Our church is going to two services on Sunday mornings, beginning in April.  I want to attend the early one, but don't know if they will get Beth up and ready in time...........

Our carpenter has PROMISED to be here bright and early in the morning with those last cabinets, so we need to empty the present ones today.  I also am working tomorrow, but taking time out to attend a funeral at 10:00, then back to serve lunch.

And, Etta Sue, I hate cancer, too!  And I hate the devil!  :clobber:

I'm sorry I tried to have the pole so you could vote for more than one thing...It doesn't seem to work that way for me...

Had a great afternoon, with a visit at Melaura's place.  We took some of her childhood things to her.  The memories they conjured up for her were amazing! Great time reminiscing.

Home now to get John's food ready for the road.

Hi everyone.  We had a nice 2 1/2 hour visit with our son, Scott, and DIL, Sheila.  This time we met at a truck stop cafe, which turned out to be much better than trying to meet at Cracker Barrel as it was much less crowded and much quieter and they didn't push us to leave since there were plenty of tables available.  This morning I have finished up the Golden Game re-entry of applications for those on hand.  I plan on getting a haircut after coffee this morning and stopping at the bank.  We re going back to a seafood place for our Monday Men's luncheon.  It was a really warm day here yesterday and more is on the way all week. 

Judy, thanks for the devotional for this week.  I also liked your graphic on inner peace.

Jeanne and Judy, ice cream wins easily for me as my favorite comfort food.  Janet, hope your work day isn't too heavy today.

The Hymn Sing last evening at church was a success.  I love those old songs.  Remember...I may know the words to 2 songs...'Jesus Loves Me' and 'Row, Row, Row Your Boat'!  I am not a singer.  But I love music.  All evening I kept thinking about Mom playing these songs on the piano.  We were fortunate to have two pianos in the house!!  Mom could read the music and play it with her right hand and then she would chord with her left hand.  Yes, I could see her playing the piano in my mind's eye last evening.

Today I am taking Ivalou to get a blood draw and since she is fasting we will go somewhere for breakfast.  I need to stop somewhere for two liters of pop for Euchre tomorrow and some milk. 

After that I will be home until maybe going to the pool in the morning. 

Indiana broke a record high yesterday.  The previous record was 76 degrees for March 18.  Yesterday it got to 80 degrees!  Yay!  We keep thinking that snow isn't over yet.  I hope so.  80 degrees and back to freezing!  All the beautiful blooms will be gone!!

Etta Sue:  80 degrees must have set a record.  I know that it was just as high in Michigan somewhere (people renting nearby said it was so) and about that in Minnesota and all those are records.  Into the 30's here this morning and not near here at all but Flagstaff had over 30 inches of snow closing the interstate.  The mountains we see have snow here.  Cacti and snow!  Beautiful. 

I guess it is our age now but it sure is discouraging to hear about another friend or relative with serious health problems. 

Hi Pat!!!! How is everything?  Where are you spending Easter? 

JudyB:  I think of you often and your family as well.  Take care. 

We did get the bath painted and I did the touch-up this morning.  Talk about drippy paint.  Lucky to have tile on the floor and it did clean quickly. Janet: congrats on having all your cabinets installed. 

Larry:  Those visits are so special.   Did you read about Peyton Manning?  Everyone is so excited except those in AZ.

Hi everyone.  We had another beautiful day here in Georgia yesterday although the pollen count was a record high.  As I was driving to get my haircut it appeared there was a haze in the air and I know it was the pollen, the most visible being the pine pollen.  We had a good time out our lunch yesterday and I enjoyed a half Cuban sandwich and brought the other half home and Pat had it for her supper.  Today will be light for me other than a meeting this morning I expect to be home the rest of the day.  Pat plans on attending her book club meeting this late afternoon if she feels up to it. 

Etta Sue, I have always considered myself fortunate to have been given piano lessons for 7 years as a youngster.  Like almost all kids I didn't like the practicing but think I always loved to play.  As a result I can read music and play with both hands although I have lost a lot of the skill I had because seldom play anymore as it makes my back hurt after sitting at the keyboard for a little bit. Let's hope we have no more freezes this season.  Spring is definitely in bloom full force here in Georgia.

Janet, your link will not work from your computer to our computers but must be placed on a server such as CP.  If Pat does not object if you will send me the file as an attachment to an e-mail I will get it up on the server and put in a link that will work.  Glad your cabinets are finally in.  Does this complete your remodeling?

Carol, yes I say where Peyton Manning is coming to the Denver Broncos football team.  I wonder what happens to Tim Tebow now?

Larry, thanks again for coming to my rescue!  Since I don't know much about how things work on the net, I have forwarded the email I got from Delvin Kinser at KJIL to several CP members, and would be so appreciative if you can put the link in here.

It was up into the 80s here again yesterday, continues to be very dry, and there are many concerns about what our weather will be if this continues.  I sure am glad God is in control!

Yes, Larry, this does complete our renovation/remodel, after so many months!  Whew!  Now, as soon as I can get things organized and put away in my studio room, and clean out the latest storm's deposit of dust......well, you get the picture.  Always something to keep our hands busy!  The additional cabinets are beautiful, and the white ready-built ones are now in my studio, waiting to hold my "stuff."  And some are to be installed in our "back kitchen" or what Darrel calls HIS kitchen!  When I get to stay home for a while, I will get busy in that studio!  Am really looking forward to having it in order again.

After working at the Home, I came home and worked until 10 last night putting things into the new cabinets in the utility room.  But I got it done!!  :thumbsup:

Today we are going to Garden for another eye appointment for Darrel.  He will soon be having his eyelids lifted, as they cut off part of his peripheral vision.  Tomorrow we go to Liberal for me to the hearing aid place, as I am still using only the right hearing aid, never have found the left one (yet!)  And Thursday I have the interview with our local radio station.  But so far, Friday is clear!!!!   :D :D

I am not a football fan but I did hear that Peyton is going to Denver.  Also read that Colt fans would like to see Tebow come here! 

I went to the pool this morning.  Saturday after attending the women's group at church, we were asked if we could help the one lady clean up.  Well, that meant put up chairs and tables!  My back didn't like that.  I am hoping the pool put everything back in place!  I feel better already! 

I left another Chemo Wrap at the hospital and then I got a sandwich at Arby's for lunch. 

My bed sheets have been changed and I have the pool water washed out of my hair.  Jane called and asked if I would like a ride to Euchre!  Sure!  So I put my car in the garage.  Now I am catching up online! 

I am loving this no heat/no a/c season.  Just praying that we don't get a freeze now that all the spring blooms are all in their radiant brilliance!  It's beautiful driving around and looking at all the colors of Spring!  Everything is greening up, too!  I have tulips up and forsythia blooming.  I don't see any daffodils yet but I think I might have mowed them down too soon last year!!  I bet my wild hyacinth is up!  She pops up every year!

Thanks so much for making the link, Larry.  And thank you who have sent me comments about the interview, I appreciate the feedback so much.  The interview was much longer, but he only used that much.  So I pray God will use it to get the story out there, and sales will continue!

We just got home from Garden City.  The eye doctor determined that Darrel's eyelids are drooping to the extent that he cannot see 60% from one eye and 70% of his usual field of vision from the other eye---so he definitely qualifies to have the lift done!  He is scaring me lately when he drives, so I will be really happy when it's done, too!  His surgery is scheduled for April 3.

Another of Beth's nurses bought the book today--PTL!!

And another lady called and wants me to bring a book to town for her, for her daughter.  So I need to go do that.  Also, in faith, I ordered an additional 100 copies of the book yesterday!  I hope they don't stay around my house very long!

I've been away a bit, helping my son to move & dabbling in my bookkeeping responsibilities... as it's tax season. My granddaughter turned 15 on Sunday and we had a lovely time celebrating (tired out Grandma!!)

Hi everyone.  It was another very warm day here in Georgia yesterday with a similar day in store for today.  Yesterday turned out to be a pretty busy one.  I was busy all morning and when I got home a little after noon Pat said we needed to leave in 15 minutes to go to an appointment for some test she had scheduled.  It was about 3 pm when we got home and I rested for an hour or so.  Later we went out to eat and came home and watched a Netflix movie we have had for a week.  It got caught in watching the basketball games so we hadn't viewed it when it first came. 

Etta Sue, I don't try to do much in the way of setting up tables or chairs anymore as that is for younger folks.  We are also enjoying not having to use the AC or the heat. 

Ruth Ann, sounds like you had a great weekend.  These grandchildren grow up fast.

Janet, you are most welcome and glad I could help.  It must be a challenge for Darrel to see.  I have known several people who have had that eye procedure done with great success.  It sounds like the book is doing well. 

RuthV, the tax season is in its midst here in the USA.  I finally got the last documents I need to prepare our taxes and will have to get busy on it before too long.

Ruth, I will be praying the book review is warmly received, and thank you for doing that.

Larry, Darrel finished up our taxes last week--except for writing and sending the checks!  That's the painful part.... :o

Today I am going to Liberal to get my left hearing aid replaced.  Then when I find the (temporarily) lost one, I will have a spare.  :-\  When I asked the price, I nearly fell off my chair!  Ouch!

I don't know if Darrel will go with me today or if I will go alone.  But I want to stop in Hugoton for a little visit with my daughter Diane, and hopefully, Abby, too.  Our school is out for Spring Break this week, so hope theirs is, too.

I am ready to go take the book to town, as they were busy last evening.  See you all when I am back home!

Well, I came out a winner again at Euchre!  Two months in a row.  That will come to a screeching halt next month when Janet comes back from Florida!! 

When I left yesterday, I thought...what could be better the first day of spring?  I had on white capris, my Hawaii sandals and 82°!  Well, I guess winning at Euchre added to it!

Janet, does that mean you have sold 100 books already?  Or how many books did you get in the beginning?  Great job...writing and selling!

Ivalou called this morning and said she talked to Linda, her daughter-in-law.  Jacob is still hanging in there...no better and no worse.  It will be two weeks tomorrow morning!  I keep thinking that God is letting him rest so that he will have energy to work and get better once he wakes up.  We don't know if he is in a natural coma or a drug induced coma.  The family doesn't share very much. 

Another beautiful day in Indiana.  The local weather men/women keep saying that a cold front is heading our way but it seems that was a week ago and it hasn't hit yet!  I turned on the A/C last evening so I could crochet and left it on all night.  But it is off again now.  Too chilly in here this morning.

It is still raining here. The weather report said up to two inches. The rivers and creeks are overflowing again.

Happy is doing real well since his surgery, I let him have his e-collar off and he isn't worrying the stitches at all.

Everything here is going fine and I will be starting on a weight loss program as soon as my product arrives. i want to lose at least 20 lbs.

I am home from my trip to Liberal!  That's good, the bad is how much my new hearing aids are going to cost.  :o  How something so tiny could possibly cost so much just doesn't compute, in my brain!  I am getting a new set because the technology is a lot different already from what it was 2 !/2 years ago when I got these.  Phooey.  I feel really bad about costing so much.

And I had a wonderful visit with grandson Mark.  He makes me so happy!  He rode to Liberal with me from Hugoton, and we had a good time, then he took me to lunch at Applebee's.  He will ride home with his Dad.And when I got back to Hugoton I had a pretty good visit with Diane, between customers.  Abby's spring break was last week, so I didn't get to see her today.

AND....since I knew the hearing aids were going to cost me big bucks, I thought they should buy a book from me, so I took two in with me, and sold them both!  :)  You just don't know, unless you ask!  ;)

Etta Sue, I'm not sure of the exact count of books I have sold, but I started with 220 soft cover and 75 hard cover ones.  I am down to maybe 34 hard covers and 25 or so of the paper backs, and it takes 15 days or so to get more, so I didn't want to run out.  I think this is good, considering I am an unknown, first time author.  But I will keep on working, and walking through every door the Lord opens for me!

And-----drum roll------it is RAINING here!!  Oh, Joy!!  Hallelujah!!  Praise God!!  It's been sprinkling right along all day, and it reaches at least to Liberal, so not just a little spot.  We are praying it continues like this for days, as it is really soaking in.  How wonderful!!  Makes us SW Kansans so happy!  :D  :thumbsup:

Ruth V, it seems that you and I have something in common (other than enjoying some of the games we have going here in CP) - both our granddaughters had birthdays this past Sunday. They missed St. Patrick's Day by only one day. At least, that holiday isn't the one where so many presents are given in celebration - so, their birthdays don't compete for attention. :)

Well, I think I told y'all about that really bad hailstorm we had March 2nd. My appointment for auto insurance appraisal was today, and it ended up I need a new windshield, a new hood, and have dents all over the car (even on the doors) that mounted up to almost $3,800 in the estimate! So, little Josie will end up looking like brand new by the time they're finished with her. She will most likely be "prancing about" with pride in her new "do,"  ;)

Our discussion are Wednesday night seniors service was about what it means to sin once we have been forgiven of all our transgressions. It was a lively discussion with many different viewpoints being aired. It was good to have an elderly theologian there worshipping with us, who waited until the very last to say anything, and then, only when pressed by our seniors pastor.

Our Wednesday Night Live topic was on 'discouragement'.  Remember Potiphar putting Joseph in jail after Joseph did right?  Remember the cup bearer forgetting Joseph when the cup bearer was released from jail back to Potiphar?  Discouragment.  It took the cup bearer two years to remember that Joseph interpreted his dream correctly and now Potiphar needed his dreams interpreted.  Then Joseph was cleaned up, shaved and taken to Potiphar.  Released. 

I got up early for me, thinking that I would be driving Ivalou to get her perm this morning.  She has so many days lately with her arms and legs in pain.  But they must be pretty good today since I saw her drive by a few minutes ago.  I wish she would get back to her exercising.  But she says you don't want to exercise when it hurts.  One lady at Euchre said she could tell that Ivalou wasn't as good as she was... :(

So that means I don't have anything to do today that is on my schedule.  I am hoping to finish another Chemo Wrap so I can take it to Noblesville tomorrow when I go to my Urologist for another Botox treatment.  It's been 7 months!!

No rain in sight for here.  Another beautiful day with very thin clouds and very little wind.  The farmers are planting in March!!  That's a first!  Yesterday we broke the record high that was set back in 1906!  Every day for over a week has been record breaking highs!  Soon instead of people going to Florida for the winter and spring break, they will be coming to Indiana!!

I just got back home after my on-air radio interview!  I think it was very successful, about 20 minutes after commercial breaks were taken out of the 30 minutes time allowed.  I got a nice comment on my blog (book blog) from Beth's favorite nurse, saying she woke up to hear it and thought it was great!  I printed that out to take to Beth.

Then I took my friend Pat to the dentist, the drugstore and a little shop, since she still doesn't have her car replaced.  Seems the local police were slow getting their report in to the insurance company.  They might get a car tomorrow.

Ruth Ann, your little Josie will be all spiffied up!  Will you keep her the same color, or change?  It's amazing how many $$$ things can add up to, isn't it?

I am hoping to be able to have an at home day tomorrow, but will see what shakes out!  ;)  I have promised, "Where He leads me, I will follow!"

It's so wonderful to learn how the book sales are going. Now, for more prayer that others will learn of the book and desire to own a copy, too.

Oh, I think Josie needs to be her original color - the soft grayish purple color. The official name for it is "opel." Next Friday, she goes in for a transmission check, seat belt check, and, oh dear, I forgot to mention to them that the front passenger seat seems to not slide forward/backward any more. But with all the different places little Josie takes me and my passengers, I want her to feel well enough to do a great job for our Lord. :)

Well, today turns out to be busy after noon. So, it's time to prepare to go "out n about!"

Hi everyone.  Today is to be another warm day.  The pollen was not as high yesterday but people are really suffering from it.  Other than a few sneezes it doesn't seem to bother me very much. I spent the morning meeting an appointment obligation and then another hour at Walmart in the grocery section.  I don't shop there often enough to know where everything is located so it can be slow going on top of already going slow. 

Late yesterday afternoon I did get started on re-entering the data into the Golden Games database and will make that my primary emphasis today as would like to get it done.  We did have good news yesterday that our son was hired by Publix.  He hopes it will turn into a full-time job but in the meantime he will try to work two part-time jobs and still keep up with his online college work.  He is going to be busy.

Etta Sue, I am impressed with your Euchre play.  I have a nice version of that on my iPad but really have forgotten how to play it.  Where I had the appointment this morning, at a local church, they have a special room set up for ladies that meet on Thursdays and sew caps for cancer patients.  There were several in there working and they have nice working space as the church has acquired the old Snellville city hall and it is quite spacious.  I told Pat that would be a good place to donate any fabric she decides she won't be using but she didn't hop on that idea.

Marilyn, you seem to be having the bad weather rather than other parts of the country.  However, we would like some of that rain and think there is a chance that tomorrow will bring some our way. 

Janet, I understand from my friends that hearing aids are terribly expensive.  Just remember your money in the bank won't do the hearing for you and be glad that resources like the new hearing aids are available to us now.  I know they make a big difference with my friends who wear them.  You are having success with your book sales because you are willing to put in all the hard work.  You usually find that has happened behind most successful people.  If the radio station gives you an audio file of the program send it to me and I will put a link here in CP.

Ruth Ann, you will feel like you are driving a new car when you get all the things replaced or repaired.

Larry, what a wonderful old hymn.  It means so much to me, both in words and also that great old hymn tune. As a very young pianist, I would often play that for an offering tune. :)

The first meeting this afternoon was opportunities for seniors to participate in the church across the street. Such a lovely meeting with many points of service discussed. It's so true, each of us has a way to contribute to our Lord's work, and to serve others.

Now, to a memorial service for a loved one who died in December.

Hi everyone.  We are expecting some rain in the Atlanta area later today.  The main activity for today will be to play dominoes later this afternoon with two other couples and then we will all go out to eat.  I plan to watch some more basketball this evening.

Ruth Ann, I also remember hearing that hymn and playing it often in our church.  In my late teens I often played the piano or organ at our small church for the services and there are a lot of old hymns that I love that we seldom hear.

I remember that pine pollen in Louisiana when Ivalou and I would be at her place near Zwolle.  My car was a Polynesian Green but when the pine pollen was plentiful, even the windows were the same shade of green.  And the Love Bugs...my, did they mess up a car fast!!

I got a surprise last evening.  Ivalou called to see if I would like to go to Olive Gardens to eat with her, Marge and Betty.  Well, they couldn't get Betty on the phone but we stopped at her house, blew the horn, told her to change shoes and off we all went.  Good food and good conversation.  The place was noisy and cold though! 

Today is Botox day.  I finish Chemo Wrap #13 yesterday so I will drop it off at the hospital.  Also need to get something to eat somewhere, then get the kitties some food.  I need groceries and when I get home, I need to make a pan of cornbread for Cornbread Salad to take to Small Groups Sunday evening. 

Big day for me.  And IT'S RAINING!  The farmers are shouting for joy.  Nice gentle rain.

I have been busy all day, can't see much progress yet, but little by little....

I think I am headed to the movie, The Vow.  I was told it's a wonderful movie about commitment and love.  Darrel won't go with me, so I guess I will go alone.

Back from the doctor finally. My cholesterol was up some My triglycerides were up and she told me  stop eating white bread and only eat whole grain. Leave the all white stuff alone. She put me on Vimovo  pain meds for my knee pain. It is naproxen and esomeprazxole The second protects the stomach.  She dropped the Crestor down to 5mg from 1; she said I could go ahead and wean myself down on the Gabapentin. The also checked my knee real good. A doctor hasn't ever checked my knee that well. I have a small cyst  in the middle of my knee cap the rest is osteoarthritis. I may need an injection in it eventually. I  did tell her that I would be using the Sensa. She was all for it.

We have been visiting my cousin & husband & she invited another cousin for a day visit so that was a quite talkative day.  Returned and Don worked on taxes while I packed and cleaned as we will be on the road next week at this time.

Janet:  Thank you for sending the email.  Your interview went very well - I know it is the short version.  So nice to hear your voice. 

Marilyn:  Good that your doctor is taking care of you - perhaps you can walk more now that wintertime is almost over and that will help your numbers too.

Larry:  A lovely song.  Thanks for sharing.  Don is really happy with his Nook Color.  The wrong protective cover was sent so he has to ship that back and reorder.  He bought the SD card and it is so much more powerful. 

Ruth Ann:  It will be so nice when you get your sweet little car totally refurbished.  Let us hope there are no more hailstorms in your area.

Hi everyone.  The sun is out this morning after an overcast day yesterday and it is suppose to reach 70 this afternoon.  I got up early this morning and finished entering the data for the Golden Games applications and now only need to print the individual reports, which is very easy to do and then print out the individual participation certificates, which is a one at a time process using my color printer.  Then I will have this work caught up.  I have a meeting to attend this morning and then the rest of the day should be free.  We had a fun time yesterday playing dominoes with our friends and then going out to eat at a favorite Mexican restaurant. 

Marilyn, anytime we can decrease medication that is a good thing.  Glad you liked your doctor.  It doesn't look like your numbers are too bad although have forgotten the desired ranges. 

Carol, Pat really likes her Kindle Fire and last night couldn't sleep and was reading with it in bed up until after 3 am.  With the black background and white letters it doesn't create any problem with light int he room for sleeping.  Glad Don likes the Nook Color as think it is very much like the Kindle Fire.

I don't know why but yesterday when I was getting the 15 Botox injections in my bladder, I felt over half of them.  Felt like a finger in a vise..then tightened..and tightened some more.  Never felt that intense pain since childbirth before!  I even asked if the nurse forgot the numbing solution in my bladder.  By the time he was done, I was weak and sweaty.  I had even told the nurse before the procedure that I have a high pain tolerance. 

And, of all days, I had other things to do in a downpour rain.  I took a Chemo Wrap to the hospital.  Ate lunch at La Casada.  Then to Pets Supplies Plus.  I asked if someone could put the big bag of food in my cart and then put it in my car.  Yes.  So that's how I got cat food in the car.  Then to WalMart and a 35 pound bucket of Tidy Cat litter.  I asked a man to put it in my cart and then the cashier called for carry out help....all in a downpour of rain. 

When I got home, I carried in all my groceries and put them away.  Then I changed clothes and went to the front bedroom.  I slept until 7pm and back to bed before 11pm.  I didn't get up this morning until 10:20am. 

But the cat food and litter is in the house now and Hawaii is in a dry garage after sitting out in the rain last night. 

I feel much better today but felt like if I did much lifting yesterday something would go wrong so I rested! 

But the pain is worth it all for what Botox in my bladder does for me. 

Today is cloudy after a night of tornado watches.  Sun is shining right now and it is drying off!  We certainly needed the rain...just not me out in it!

I spent the day today working in my studio, and can finally see some light at the end of the tunnel!  I have a few more things to put away off the tables, then need to give it a thorough cleaning, THEN I can work on some framing that has been waiting my attention for about two months!  There was just no way I could do it in the midst of the remodel mess.

I went to Sonic and got a hot fudge sundae!!  I get hungry for those maybe twice a year, and today was once!!  I also went and read to Beth for quite a while, stayed until they brought her supper in.  She said she didn't want to get up into her wheel chair for supper last night, but told them what she wanted.  Well, they threw her plate of food away!  She finally pushed her call button and asked why she didn't get her supper, and was told they threw it out!  So then she waited another hour for a grilled cheese sandwich.   :-\  Sigh.......

Things are really greening up around here since we got some rain!  And the weather is glorious!

Some days I just feel overwhelmed.......

Grrr!  If Beth isn't in the habit of saying she doesn't want to eat, why did they throw her plate away?  Serves them right to have to stay and fix her a sandwich!

After a restful day yesterday, I feel pretty good today.  I did my normal things yesterday...eating, reading, crocheting and watching TV.  I did have two guests yesterday.  Two of Ivalou's greats came over to see my kitties.  Of course, they couldn't pet them...they run when I go to them.  But they did come out and check the kids out and that satisfied Gus and Isabel. 

I am ready for church.  My last time to run the projector for 9 weeks.  I think next week Ivalou and I are greeters at one of the doors.  That's always fun. 

Looks like a cloudy day and the temps have really dropped.  My Droid said there was a freeze advisory!!  But it is 63 so I don't think it got down to freezing.  But I will wear my jacket to church today.

Beth usually goes to the dining room for meals, but is still having pain in her butt when sitting in the new wheelchair, so decided to stay in her room for supper.  And she had already told them her choice for that meal was the fish.  Good help is hard to find---and harder still to keep.  That's why I keep going back and working when Debra  calls me.  I have requested to work on Beth's hall whenever possible, that way I can keep an eye on things with her. (Not that I request to work, but request that hall WHEN I work!)   ;)

As soon as I get some of that framing done, I am going to work on a scrapbook of the letters, cards and news articles about the book.  I think I will make two--one for Beth and one for me.

Etta Sue, those Botox injections sound really painful this time!  I'm glad you got to rest and are now feeling much better.

Ruth Ann, glad your allergies are better!

We are having a guest speaker today, a missionary.  Should be good.  Our pastor hit a deer in his wife's new car this week!  Been there, done that, not fun!

Hi everyone.  It is a bit cooler here this morning (52 degrees) but predicted to get to 72 degrees by 3 pm.  We expect a fairly quiet day with church this morning and probably eating out after church with our friends.  This late afternoon and evening I will probably watch the last two college basketball games to decide the final four teams. 

Etta Sue, that procedure sounded terribly painful as you described.  Glad you asked for the help you needed.  I have done that several times with large items that are too heavy for me anymore and always found they were willing to help (guess they wanted to sell the item :)  ). 

Janet, you know getting things put away in your studio probably means you will never know where anything is.  At least that is usually my experience unless I label the drawers or containers.  I love hot fudge sundaes and occasionally will have one at McDonald's.  What is the matter with the people at the home where Beth lives.  That sounds like a totally unacceptable attitude problem in throwing her food away without checking with her first.

Hi, friends,

I had lunch with my daughter and son in law. We hadn't met for several months, so it was good to be with them.

Then, have checked on local news items and now plan to pass on the paper to a friend.

Tomorrow, my hubby's last surviving aunt will be buried. She was 92, and only 14 when she and hubby's uncle married.

Well, time to rest, so will speak with y'all tomorrow.
