Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Good Morning

Larry I have copied that Bible humor and sent it on to my Pastor.

The banquet last night was wonderful. The men did all the cooking it was a benefit for the Men's Ministries. The Women's Ministries was supposed to do the cleanup however, there were only 3 of us that took on that chore. there was Barbecued Tri Tip roast, corn , baked potato, green salad, Carrot and chocolate cakes, They had chicken for those who  preferred chicken.

Three of us asked  asked specifically for chicken when we bought our tickets, (they bought two whole chickens) However when the servers got to my table there was no chicken left. I had been in the kitchen to make sure my piece of chicken was there it was, ( don't eat beef) but  it was given to someone else, so I didn't get any dinner.  Lots of people asked for chicken who were not on the list. My table was the last to be served. Another sister gave me her piece of chicken. She only had cut off a small piece to eat. After having had the gastric bypass surgery she can't eat very much.

I am ready for church just need to put some lotion on my hands.

Jane I will be praying for you to have a safe trip. A mutual friend of our has ask me to tell you thank you for sharing your testimony on CP.

Nick ~ You are a first!  I have never ever in my many years heard of anyone wanting snow or wanting to exchange weather.  While I truly like the changing of the seasons, I don't wish for snow.  So.....  I decided to send you a snowman.  So I went out in my front yard and made a great big ball of snow for the bottom.  Then a smaller ball for the middle and a littler ball for his head.  I found a top hat for his head, some coal for his eyes and mouth, a carrot for his nose, even a pink pipe for him and a broom.  But I am so sorry, when I brought him inside to ready him for mailing....well, here's what happened!!

And I noticed someone else took a video of of their snowman....hope this makes Nick feel so much better!

All funning aside, I have already been to church and back home.  I usually stay for two services but today was a guest minister and he was preaching at all four services.  So I left early and ate breakfast at a restaurant and came back home.  I did fill my car up with gas.  Thursday Regular gas was $2.35.9 in Pendleton.  Yesterday it was $2.30.9 in Anderson.  This morning in Greenfield it was $2.11.9.  So I filled up before church....before they raised it 20 cents or more!  I still think the gas companies are robbing us and getting by with it!

Ruth Ann Bice

Hi, friends,

I really enjoyed the worship at church today. Our pastor preached a great sermon on the basics of praying for others, helping others carry their burdens, etc. Our attendance is getting so much better. It's really encouraging.

Two prayer requests. One involves long-time friends of my son and daughter in law in Atlanta. The lady and her husband are very much still in love after all their years of marriage and children, etc. Well, unfortunately, she's got the dreaded diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. Please help me pray for them as they go through this very trying time. Her name is Betty.

Another involves a new couple who have begun attending our church. Obviously, they're having some serious marital problem, and I feel a special burden that they find a way through their difficulties letting Christ be the Center of both their lives.

Y'all have a good afternoon.

Ruth Ann - I just prayed for your two requests.  May our God use our prayers for their good and His own glory!

Ruth Ann~I, too, have just prayed for your requests.  You know the chord this struck with me ... I know God is able ------ in ALL THINGS!
Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass .... it's about learning to dance in the rain!

Janet

Jane, I wish you many blessings on your trip this week, physical, spiritual, relational, financial, and any other way God chooses.  <3

Ruth Ann, praying here for your requests.  Drop me a line via email and let me know how you are doing, please---or a PM here.  Thanks.

We went to visit Diane and family this afternoon for a little while, as the boys and Toni were home from college for the weekend.  It will soon be church time, so I am locking the door here and opening a new one for the week.

You will find fresh coffee, Chai tea, green tea, cappaccino, hot chocolate, water, and lots of baked goodies HERE.
