Morning Devotional...

"And his allowance was a continual allowance given him of the king, a daily rate for every day, all the days of his life."- 2Ki_25:30

Jehoiachin was not sent away from the king's palace with a store to last him for months, but his provision was given him as a daily pension. Herein he well pictures the happy position of all the Lord's people. A daily portion is all that a man really wants. We do not need tomorrow's supplies; that day has not yet dawned, and its wants are as yet unborn.

The thirst which we may suffer in the month of June does not need to be quenched in February, for we do not feel it yet; if we have enough for each day as the days arrive we shall never know want. Sufficient for the day is all that we can enjoy. We cannot eat or drink or wear more than the day's supply of food and raiment; the surplus gives us the care of storing it, and the anxiety of watching against a thief. One staff aids a traveler, but a bundle of staves is a heavy burden.

Enough is not only as good as a feast, but is all that the greatest glutton can truly enjoy. This is all that we should expect; a craving for more than this is ungrateful. When our Father does not give us more, we should be content with his daily allowance. Jehoiachin's case is ours, we have a sure portion, a portion given us of the king, a gracious portion, and a perpetual portion. Here is surely ground for thankfulness.

Beloved Christian reader, in matters of grace you need a daily supply. You have no store of strength. Day by day must you seek help from above. It is a very sweet assurance that a daily portion is provided for you. In the word, through the ministry, by meditation, in prayer, and waiting upon God you shall receive renewed strength. In Jesus all needful things are laid up for you. Then enjoy your continual allowance. Never go hungry while the daily bread of grace is on the table of mercy.

Charles H. Spurgeon

He Owns The Cattle
(Click to hear music)

Words and Music by John W. Peterson

Psalm 50:10
"For every beast of the forest is mine,
and the cattle upon a thousand hills."

He owns the cattle on a thousand hills,
The wealth in every mine;
He owns the rivers and the rocks and rills,
The sun and stars that shine.
Wonderful riches, more than tongue can tell -
He is my Father so they're mine as well;
He owns the cattle on a thousand hills -
I know that He will care for me.

Hi, friends,

Jane, thank you so much for today's reading. We truly are given just this moment. That means a lot to me. Even the manna was delivered to the Israelites was a day's supply, except for the Sabbath.

Janet, what a busy time in your life. I'm so thankful the new chair is better for Beth.

Larry, it's really good to hear from you. I'm so sorry you got overtired while shopping. I've been there, so I understand.

I took my sister in law to get grilled fish, and then she asked to go to the small neighborhood Walmart grocery. Even as small as it is, she got lost in it. So, I was able to find her and lead her to the checkout lanes. Her vision is really getting bad.

Well, y'all have a good rest of this day with our Lord.

Love to all,
Ruth Ann

Good Evening to all,  we were out of town for one night as I had a full day of classes at the U of A in Phoenix.  Back to class - it all went very well and especially nice for Don to drive me.  He spent part of his time at a flea market and then wandered through an Asian market where he bought coffee.  All the classes were free and I only had to pay for lunch.  Nice.  We stopped to visit a cousin on the way back and then drove back in the dark desert - braking once for a fox.

One son visited us twice while in the area and tonight we have been fielding telephone calls.

It is snowing in the mountains at home and our oldest son called to tell us that he had a treacherous drive over a pass but made it - he is closing some parts of his cabin.

A friend is coming for three days so I am looking at simple recipes and probably something to grill.  He has meetings during the day so lunch is on his own.

Janet:  Perfect news that the chair fits Beth so well.  Wedding is getting close.

Larry Hanna

Hi everyone.  I awoke to a dreary day with a light shower and more possible throughout the day.  We will only see about a 70 degree temperature this afternoon so a lot cooler than it has been.  I ended up going to Sunday School and Church by myself yesterday.  It was a very interesting church service with a great sermon and there was a brief recognition of the many areas of service both within the church and to the outside community that our church is involved with.  Each area was highlighted by a member of the congregation coming to the front of the church with a cardboard sign indicting the area.  By the time are of the areas had been highlighted the front of the large church was full with some on the second and third steps at the front of the church.

Scott did not make it out yesterday as had been planned so we had a nice dinner and quiet afternoon and evening.  The main activity for today is that we are taking Scott to the Chop House Restaurant for a nice lunch to celebrate his birthday.

Janet, posting from the phone is not a very easy job.  It is much easier on the iPad or Tablet as the onscreen keyboard is much larger.  It sounds like the reception was a delight for all. Glad that Mark and Tiffany made it home safely.  That didn't sound like a great flight back.  Just remember take one thing at a time and don't panic over the others.  The list will keep getting smaller and everything that is important will get done.

Jane, thanks for that fine Devotional for this week.  I am going to make a copy of it and will probably use it as the devotional thought in our Sunday School class on November 15, when I volunteered to bring the devotional.

Ruth Ann, thanks for your comments.  I was fine when I started shopping the other day but could feel the energy leaving me and knew I needed to sit down and rest.  I know you have been there and it sure isn't fun.  Nice of you to take your SIL to the smaller Walmart but they are still pretty good sized.  We had one of the Neighborhood Walmart Markets close to where we used to live but I only went there once or twice.

Carol, I didn't suppose there were any classes given for free anymore.  Glad you had a great experience and that Don had a leisurely day of doing what he wanted to do.  Be as easy on yourself with the extra cooking as you can.  Pat has found that crock pot stews or one dish casseroles with a salad makes a nice meal.  She is up to cooking less and less as the days go by.  Of course, we eat out quite a bit also.

Saturday we lost all power for 11 hours.  So now we're on "boil water until notified".  GRRRR!  I don't understand why the park management can't get a generator for the well so water can continue in the park.  Oh, well.

Anyhow, it's really fall here now.  Into the 30's or 20's at night and only into the 50's or maybe around 60 during the day.   :(

Jane, thanks for the devotional and hymn for this week.  Not always easy to remember that today is all there is.

Jeanne, are the trees blazing in their Autumn glory there now?  How I would love to see them!  Sorry about your water problem and hope it is soon resolved.  We are feeling the chill of Autumn here, too, but most  people say they love it.

Carol, glad you and Don had a nice time when you went to attend the classes.  I agree with Larry..you have company so often you should make meal prep easy on yourself, and I'm sure anything you make will taste wonderful and be appreciated!

Larry, good you had a nice time with Scott for his birthday.  I figured if I tried to post from the phone I would make too many mistakes and thus get frustrated.  I'm thinking of getting an iPad or tablet of some kind later.  What kind of tablet would you recommend, and are they less expensive than the iPad?  The kids tell me they are about the same as using the iPhone, except I could see to read them better!

Today has been frustrating in some ways and really good in others.  I called about the headrest on Beth's chair and they were to call me back--hasn't happened.  I called about invitations and they haven't called back, either.  BUT--- Kristi, our wonderful trainer at the gym, offered to let us use any or all of the flowers she still has from her daughter's wedding, then met me at her church (Church of Christ) later, and said we can use the big wooden arch thing (it's square, so not really an arch!) and showed me a room full of flowers, tulle, candles, table decorations, etc. that we are welcome to use--any, all or none!  Boy, what a blessing!  What a money saver!  She said people don't want those things once their weddings are over, thus they are available to others, if they want to use them.  There were a good number of purple flowers, and lots of white ones, so the colors are right.  With the addition of the greenery, we will have all we need, except the corsages, bouquets, etc.  Thank you, Lord!

I'm going to try to call John again.  I tried hours ago, no answer, and they weren't at the Legacy when I went by.

Janet, the leaves here are past "peak" now.  Most of them are on the ground and that means they have to be raked and bagged, or piles at the edge of the road, depending on what the park management decides this year.

Ruth Ann Bice

Hi, friends,

It's good to see several folks posting as I come here to read late in the night.

My goodness, how fast the year is passing! This coming Saturday night we get to sleep an extra hour. Wow!

Today was spent at my sister in law's doctors' offices. Once we returned to our side of town, a long commute, since it was in the middle of the afternoon rush hour, the drizzling rain turned into some hard showers. Then, I was really thankful for the temporary stop, with just a very light drizzle when I was parked in my own parking lot. It certainly makes the walk to the building better. :)

Carol, you were talking about mountain passes being blocked. I well remember when my college age daughter and I were returning home after her school year in the West was over. It was Memorial Day weekend, and we ended up being turned around because of a blocked pass. Next morning, I realized that she had never thought of checking her tires, and we had been traveling on the steel belts - no tread at all left. How I thanked God that we were stopped and able to find a motel room in that nearby town! And, then thankful that there was a nice brand name tire dealer where we quickly purchased 4 new tires!

Janet, Larry has given you some good advice. How thankful I am that he is so kind to share his knowledge with us! Don't despair, your calls will be returned. :)

Larry, I do understand about being too tired. Since my back has been such a bother, it has really cut down on walking and standing time. Today I dealt with that in the medical center with its long halls.

Jeanne, the rains this week will likely cause much of our fall foliage to end up on the ground, so I feel this may not be a good year for good fall color here in Nashville.

Well, y'all have a really good rest of the day.

Love to all,
Ruth Ann

Hi everyone on a very cloudy and rainy morning with rain off and on predicted for the entire day.  We will only see temperatures a little above 60 degrees today.  That hasn't stopped the yard people from mowing, trimming and blowing the cuttings off of the sidewalks and drives. At least that is done for another two weeks.

There are just two major activities for today.  This morning I will go to COSTCO and pick up my new eyeglasses.  This afternoon we will take Pat's sister back to the airport for her flight home.  She flies from here to Atlanta, where there is a two hour layover and a plane change.  She has arranged for a taxi service to meet her at the Kansas City airport and take her back home.  We have enjoyed her visit and it seems too have gone by all too quickly.  However, I know she is anxious to get back home to her great grandchildren, with whom she spends a lot of time.

We did have a nice day yesterday with a delicious lunch at the Chop House.  We all had the crab cake and shrimp or just plain crab cakes.    It was about two pm when we finished lunch and we asked Scott to take us a different way home and drive through the downtown area of Augusta, which really isn't very large.  On the way we stopped at the hospital so Pat could get some blood work done.  Scott was going to go home and rest and come back later in the evening for ice cream and cake.  However, he called and said he had been called back into work so didn't make it out.  He plans on being here today to spend more time with his Aunt before she leaves and we will have the birthday cake and ice cream at lunch time.

Jeanne, 11 hours is a long time without water and then having to boil water for awhile added to the unpleasantness of the event.  It sounds like fall is not only where you are but you are getting a foretaste of winter with the low temperatures at night and the leaves already off the trees.

Janet, there are many good tablets on the market now.  Except for the iPad I think all of the others use an Android software.  However, they all work about the same.  My recommendation would be not to get the smaller tablet but rather the 10 inch one.  The displays are great on them.  You will find the Androids to be less expensive than the iPads.  Samsung, Google and many others have tablets for sale.  The major difference between the tablets and the  iPhone or any of the smart phones is the phone feature and the size.  It is frustrating to place calls and not have them returned.  Is there a major problem with the headrest of Beth's chair.  I am glad you have found a source to help cut down on the wedding expenses.  That is a very good idea for the church to save these things for reuse by others.

Ruth Ann, I certainly agree that the year is passing quickly. I am more than ready for the daylight savings to end so it will get lighter earlier in the morning.  Anymore I really dislike getting up before daylight.  I often get up and get ready for the day and then lay back down and read email and these discussions, which I did again this morning.  I plan on doing my morning walking inside at COSTCO this morning.

Carol

Today's dinner or supper if you will, is slow-roasted pork ribs and a sweet potato dish that will be warmed later.  A friend is bringing the salad.  We have our other friend arriving later today for three days and he is very easy to have here - it has been almost a year since his wife died from West Nile Virus and he is handling it as best as he can.  This is the time in someone's life when it shows the difference between people of faith or not.  Still, it is painful after years of marriage.

Jeanne:  Water should be priority  - water and heat.  There isn't much in fall colors here but one shrub it sprouting red leaves.  The three very small fruit trees in the back yard are full of oranges (still yellow), grapefruit (not ready), and key lime (almost there).  A Key Lime Pie would be good.  It is so strange to us - we will head home to cold temperatures in about 3 weeks and not fruit tree there.

Janet:  Such a beautiful prayers answered for you and Beth - I mean the flowers!  There are angels everywhere.

No extra sleep here - there is no daylight saving in Arizona.  Wishing everyone would just go back to normal time and save money.

Another angel watching over you - I mean the story of Ruth Ann being stopped before going over a pass.  If anyone gets stalled for that reason or no chains  - they now impose heavy fines.

Our latest son who visited really like seeing the beauty of the stars at night - of course, it isn't hot in Arizona right now.  One grandson called yesterday and he has moved again - for hockey, of course so we can barely keep track of him.  Such a gentle soul and caring person.  Next year, he will go to college full time instead of the internet classes he has been taking.

Janet

I returned home about an hour ago from the trip to Garden City with Granddaughter-in-law Toni.  We got flowers for the corsages, bouts, and bouquets for Beth's wedding.  She is really talented at putting flowers together and I expect them to be beautiful.  She also loves to decorate and said she will come help me with that, too!  God is good!

It's been a really pleasant day here, weather-wise.  Indian summer weather!

Friday night is Senior Night at the Hugoton football game, so Abby wants us to come, as all the seniors are introduced, along with their parents.  So guess where we will be on Friday night?  But I do not plan to stay for the game!  ;)

How about those Royals, huh?  :D :D :D  We Kansans are all rooting for them, of course!  I'm not much of a sports fan, but think I will watch at least part of the game tonight.

Darrel has a nice pot of stew, or maybe it's vegetable soup--made, so I think I'll go have a sample!

Hi everyone on a cloudy and rainy Wednesday morning.  It is to get up into the mid 70's here this afternoon.  Mary returned home without incident last evening and I did get my new glasses as planned.  However, I will go back today to have them adjusted a bit and also return a couple of jackets I bought yesterday as they do not fit.  First thing this morning I will pick up the fellow I take to coffee somedays and then after returning him home will go to COSTCO to make the returns and get my glasses adjusted.  This evening is our Wednesday night dinner at church.  I stayed up late last night watching the Kansas City Royals/New York Mets World Series game.  However, I had to give up around midnight when it went into the 13th inning.  I see this morning that Kansas City did get the win in the 14th inning.

Liz

Hi from a soggy Vancouver Island!  Fall is pretty with all the leaves and colours.....It sort of takes away the dreary colour of the sky.

Thanks for a really good devotional Jane.  I have been meaning to come in and mention that prayer is being sent your way regarding your health.  Keep smiling and trusting in the Lord.

I got a letter from my niece in Australia saying that my big sister has died.  Mary was in her 90's and has been in poor health for a number of years.  Her daughter  & SIL are both doctors and so she has had the very best of care.  JoAnne is going to fly to Canada in the Spring and put both her Mom & Dads ashes at the grave site of my Mom, Dad & Brother.
That is a very kind thing to do.....

Marilyn, I also had Misty cremated.  Could not stand to do anything else.  She is resting in a lovely wooden box in my living room.  Billy Bob her long friend from across the street, now lives with us full time.  They totally abandoned him and so Wendy took him to the Vet for all his shots and he is now officially our cat!  We have fed him for years and looked after his needs, including Flea Med. so he could sleep in the house, etc.  All they have ever done is say nasty things about us to the neighbours about their cat....no one believes them, so it doesn't matter.

I am chugging along as best one can do at 83yrs.  Larry, I understand where Pat is coming from, also no longer like making meals.  Amanda and Wendy continue to have health problems, but life is no bed of roses!!

I am going to go for a perm this morning.  Have not had one in years, but it is getting harder to manage the curling iron these days.  So will give this a try.

We have a new Prime Minister and he is as  cute as his father was.  Time will tell how this works out.  He wants to legalize Pot.....plans to bring 25000 emigrants here by the end of this year.  At least we are done with all the political speeches for now.

Drat those Kansas Royals....they beat out our Blue Jays.  The games were sure good and kept me on the edge of my chair.

Time to go.  Hope to return from the perm a more beautiful me ;)

God Bless,

Liz
CHANGE NOT THY FAITH WITH CHANGING TIMES

Janet

Liz, you're already beautiful, but I sure understand wanting your hair to look nice~  We ladies all like that!  Sorry to hear Amanda also has health problems.  Are they the same kind her mother Wendy has?  If you have been reading in here, then you know our Beth is getting married in early December.  I am praying the Lord strengthens her so she can enjoy her big day.  She hasn't been doing well, very lethargic and not able to speak so we can understand her.  Sigh......  It's really good to read a post from you---even though you're not happy with our Royals!   ;)  They kept me up way too late last night, but pulled out another 'squeaker!"  I had never heard of a game going 14 innings before!  Whew!  Those guys looked really tired, as I'm sure they were.

Larry, I watched the end--we (Royals) had bases loaded and the batter had 3 balls and 2 strikes, so it was a cliff-hanger to the very end!  We had a really close lightning strike that nearly jarred both of us out of our chairs, and knocked the power out to the whole house, during the top of the 7th inning.  We waited a while, then called the power company to report it, then went to bed.  Darrel was asleep, I wasn't, when the lights came back on.  I came in to check on the TV and they were in the top of the 11th!  I thought surely it couldn't last much longer, so I stayed up and watched.  Of course I am really sleepy today!  I would have been really disappointed if the Royals had lost, after all that!!  :)

I have a couple of errands to run before or after lunch, then a nap might just overtake me!

Hello Brothers and Sisters in the Lord. Keith and I went to Coquille yesterday to bring Bebe home. Her ashes are now resting next to Happy's  on my dresser with their photos in front of them. My old car has another problem and I am so tired to things going wrong. It is now 27 years old and time  for it to start falling apart. It is leaking the water right out so there must me a bad hose. However there is also a terrible noise when the engine is running and it could very well be the water pump or something worse. Keith is driving me every place but with my busy schedule I think he will get tired of that very soon, especially when I have 3 different things to do in 3 different places in town. We will try to get my car to the shop without it blowing up  and see what has to be done. We may be looking for another car for me  I hope.

Other than my car problem all is well here. Keith has officially retired and the office sale is still pending. We have to go to a planning commission meeting next month. The new people want a large sign and the city is objecting. But it is holding up the final on the sale.

Hello everyone   I got home, from a quick trip to California, yesterday evening -- 1293 miles from the time I left home!  I was able to get some needed repairs and fixes done while there, and Dot and I drove to Sonora on Saturday to visit with Joy.  She is doing well, and says she feels great!  She had chemo last Wednesday for the first time in 4 weeks and didn't even get sick.  Her cancer markers have come 'way down, and we are eagerly looking forward to them being at 0.  She started with over 750,000 and this week the number is 1500.

My surgery has been scheduled for November 12th.  I don't know what to expect ... I hear all sorts of stories from people but I will just have to write my own.  Joy and Bryan are planning on coming for a few days afterwards.  Her doctor told her it would be okay "but just for a visit".

I learned, long ago, the message in this weeks devotional.  I know my Father knows just what I need, and He supplies my every need ... not my wants.  If I don't have something today it's because I don't need it today. That's how I live, and it makes my life much easier.  :)

I must get busy and begin cleaning this place and then get to shopping before I am sidelined .... lots to do and I still don't feel like doing any of it!   :-[

Hi, friends,

It's been a busy day, and will continue to be later this afternoon.

First was the treatment on my sister in law's foot. Next, get medications. Then, to lunch.

Now I'm resting for a while, for my daughter has asked me to early dinner this evening.

Jane, it's so good to know you've accomplished what you wanted in California, and that you got to visit Joy and learn of her good results. I continue to pray for and think of you. May our Lord bless you real good.

Marilyn, YIKES! I really dislike car problems. May it all work out for you with your transportation needs.

Janet and Larry, our hockey team is on a road trip, so their broadcast will start at 9:30, thus making for a late night for me tonight.

Liz, it's good to see you here. My condolences on the loss of your sister. May she rest in peace, and may you and the rest of her family and friends find comfort in knowing that she is now at rest.

Y'all have a good rest of the day.

Love to all,
Ruth Ann

Thanks for the wonderful devotion!

I am just peeking in for a minute as we have a good friend visiting this week - he is at a meeting today.  I hurried around with the vacuum and other odds & ends and things are in pretty good shape again.  Just grateful to be able to do these jobs anymore.

Pat

Oh, my!  I've missed so much.  All last week, was apples, apples, apples!  Paul came up to help.  My one Northern Spy apple tree had over SIX bushels of apples on it!!!!  We are nearly finished now after making applesauce, apple juice and apple butter.  How the Lord has blessed us with so many apples!

Jane, I've been praying for you and will continue to do so.  I'm so sad that you are going through this.

Hi everyone.  It is a much nicer morning on this Thursday and I think we will be seeing the sun again today.  We enjoyed our evening at the church with a good meal, fellowship and then an interesting Bible study with the pastor.

I did get to COSTCO yesterday morning and returned the clothing I had purchased the day before and also got my new eyeglasses adjusted.  This morning I will probably go to coffee and definitely will go to the Wisdom group at the church at 11:30.  Then I may meet Pat for lunch and then we will go tot he AT&T store and get the smart phone activated for Pat.

I did enjoy watching the World Series game last night as Kansas City was the winner again and lead the series 2-0.  The game was over by 11 pm and I got a good nights sleep. There will be no game tonight as this is a travel day for the teams.

Liz, good to see your posting.  I send my condolences on the loss of your sister and that is nice of your niece to bring the ashes back to Canada.  Glad you have another cat to share your life.  It sounds like he was already pretty much a part of your household.  I wish we were done with the political speeches but the long season is really just getting started.  Sorry about the Blue Jays but the Royals seem to have a super team this year.  I used to live close to the Royals Stadium for about 9 years and was also raised only about 100 miles from Kansas City so have always like the Royals.

Janet, sorry to learn that Beth is having more problems and just not doing well.  I see you are a Royal's fan also.

Marilyn, your car has given you good service over these several years.  I do hope it is nothing serious.  I do hope Keith enjoys his retirement.

Jane, your news concerning Joy sounds very encouraging.  Glad you had a good trip.  We each do have to write our own story.  Expect the best.  I know you are a lady of strong faith.  When I read the devotional this week I actually thought of you and your faith journey when times were very tight for you but God always provided as you knew he would.

Ruth Ann, I didn't know you were a hockey fan.  I have never gotten into that sport as really don't understand it.  Hope you didn't wear yourself completely out yesterday.

Carol, glad you found a few minutes to stop by and say hi.  Hope you have a great time with your friend and remember he came to visit you and not your house so I hope you won't fret over  housekeeping and do what you feel like doing and leave the rest for another time.

Pat, that was a very productive apple tree but six bushels of apples is a lot to work up.  You will enjoy all the results of that work during the year.    Nice to see your postings.

Hi Larry...

Andrew put 4 bee hives at the back of my property and that's the reason we think for the huge harvest of apples.  We've never had so many!!  I got the Apple Butter all bottled last night so I feel that this is now done.

Liz, it's so good to see your lovely "newsy" post.  I'm so sorry though, to read of your sister's passing.  My sympathy to you.

Good Thursday morning to you all!

It's a really nice day here, but more rain is predicted for tomorrow, so Darrel is out digging more dirt and putting it around the well casing, as it got over two feet of water in it again with the last rain.  The problem is, we can't tell where all that water is coming from, so it's hard to know how to stop it.  He went out and turned the well off last time until the water went down in there, and we didn't have another $2000 bill to pay for damage from it.  So it's important to get this figured out!

Pat, so wonderful to see you posting again!  Been a long time; or it seems that way to me, because I miss you!  Glad Paul came to help with those apples!  I'll bet that apple butter is delicious!  8)

I have noticed Beth's left eye being very bloodshot lately, and she's had eye drops prescribed that helped, but it still looks bad today.  I was in early this morning and she was still in bed.   A few minutes ago, the nurse called to tell me they had notified the doctor of more problems she is having:  frequent headaches, differing dialation of her eyes and some other things.  So he ordered a UA, blood tests and a CT scan.  I sure hope they can help her to feel better and more energetic.  John said she just hasn't even wanted him to take her anywhere since Sunday, and they usually are out every day.  I'll let you know what we learn.  John called after the nurse and said Beth wants me to be there for the CT scan at 1:00, so I will go over to the hospital after I eat lunch.  Prayers appreciated, of course.

I'm doing laundry, making address lists for wedding invitations, etc.  Plenty to keep me busy!

Yea, Royals!!  I hope they win the series this year; it has been three decades since they did.  I saw several of the players for the Royals and several for the Mets being interviewed about their faith in God, and it is wonderful to know they put Him first place in their lives.  I will have to tease John about Kansas beating New York again!  ;)  He is a dyed-in-the-wool Yankees fan, so probably doesn't care as much for the Mets.

We switched back and forth between the debate and the game last night.  I thought the debate was quite civil, considering how the media tries to bait them to attack each other.  :idiot:

See you later!

I just hope that the new drops will help Beth's eye, Janet.

Yes, lots and lots on my plate lately thus my absence here.  :(

Unfortunately, Pat, I think we are dealing with much more serious matters with Beth than eye drops.  She's been on those for a while, every two hours, now back to every six.  Eye is better but not cleared up yet.  We will see what the CT scan shows.

Hi everyone on a beautiful and sunny Friday morning. Nothing special on the schedule for today unless I decide to get a haircut later.  Yesterday turned out to be a fairly busy one as went to the Wisdom group and then stopped at the ATT phone store for a few minutes and then met Pat for lunch.  Following that we met our son back at the ATT store and got Pat's smart phone fixed by transferring her contacts and pictures from her old phone.  I looked at new phones and decided to get an iPhone 6S, which is the new iPhone but not the huge one.  It is a bit larger than what I have but think I will enjoy it as I use the phone a lot of Internet reading.  I then took Scott to Best Buy as he wanted to get a new TV and needed my PT Cruiser to bring it home.  So it was after 3:30 when I got home and laid down to rest for little while.

Pat, do you still have the bees in your back yard.  Glad you have finished with your apples as know that was a big job.

Janet, sorry to read you are still having problems with your well.  I hope the CT scan wasn't too hard on Beth yesterday and that it gives some answers to her current problems.  We have another World Series game to watch tonight.  Sure hope it doesn't go into extra innings. I didn't watch the debate. I understand there is another one in about 3 weeks.

Pat

Yes, Larry, the bees are still in the backyard.  There are four hives.  They are no bother at all.
