Morning Devotional...Love's Extravagance
by Ray Stedman
READ: Mark 14:1-25 (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Mark%2014:1-25&version=50)
"Leave her alone," said Jesus. "Why are you bothering her? She has done a beautiful thing to me" (Mark 14:6).
Our Lord takes this beautiful incident and shows us the true value of it. He says five things about it that mark it as an extremely valuable act. First, He says, "She has done a beautiful thing to me." The beauty of it lay in its very extravagance. This woman did not spare any of the costly ointment but broke the flask and poured the whole quantity out upon Him. Judas, with his practical computer mind, reckoned it up as worth three hundred denarii. A denarius was the day's wage for a laborer. Three hundred days' wages would be a tremendous sum. In the eyes of Judas, this woman wasted an enormous amount of money when she poured out the ointment upon Jesus. It was such a lavish act, and therein lay the beauty of it.
Second, He said that it was a timely thing she had done. "It was something that could only be done now. Any time you want to do good to the poor you can, because they are always around." And it is right to help the poor. But there are opportunities that come in our life that must be seized at the moment. Mary had sensed this and seized the moment to offer this gift, for such a time would never occur again. It was out of the sensitivity of her heart that she realized that the timing was right, and Jesus recognized this.
Then, she did that which was feasible. That is, she did what she could. She could not fix Him a meal; there was no time for that. She could not make a garment for Him; there was no time for that. There was nothing else she could do to show her love but this. She did what she could. I am sure our Lord has called our attention to that because it is so practical for us. Someone said, "I'm only a man, but I am a man. I can't do everything, but I can do something. And what I can do I ought to do. And what I ought to do, I'm available to do."
The fourth element of this act was that it was insightful. Our Lord says, "She has anointed my body beforehand for burying." Many times Jesus said to these disciples that He was going to die. Not one of them believed him--except Mary of Bethany. She understood that He was heading for burial. And since she could not be sure she would ever have the opportunity later to find His body and anoint it for burial, she did it now, as a loving act of service. What a comfort this must have been to our Lord! Of all these friends who were around Him at this time, only this one had the sensitivity of heart to understand what was happening.
Finally, what she did was deserving of being remembered. It was memorable. Jesus said, "The story of this beautiful act will be told in memory of her wherever the gospel is preached in the whole world." Here we are today, two thousand years later, fulfilling this very word, telling again of the act of Mary of Bethany when she anointed our Lord's head and feet.
Father, help me to understand that Mary is but depicting a far greater sacrifice. May that act of love grip my heart and strengthen me all the days of my life.
Yes, what a beautiful act of service to our dear Lord. She who has been forgiven much, loves much.
I got called in to work the evening shift, one hour after time for the shift to begin. :( But it wasn't too bad.....
It has turned colder here, we even had a little skiff of snow on Saturday morning when we got up. They are saying much colder and more snow this week.
Blessings to all of you!
Judy, that song has touched my heart many times. Your pastor sounds like a man of worship. If we lose our First Love, we've lost everything. No amount of ministry, giving to the poor, singing songs "to the Lord", nothing we can do has any eternal value if we lose our intimacy with Jesus. I know that I don't always feel that "First Love" adoration, and also I know that I feel so lost when I lose that. Nothing else has value once we've tasted His Love. We are so blessed by His mercy and grace and love that has no ending. Thank you for posting the lyrics to that song. It touched me again to read them.
Pat, your devotion today felt like a continuation of Judy's post. My heart feels warm tonight. :)
Amazing Love! Thanks, Pat ... and Judy. All He wants is our love. <3
Nita, I know ...... <3
Hi everyone and Pat, thanks for the new devotional topic for the week. It is a good one.
It is misty and chilly here this morning and is only 40 degrees. It is only going to get up to 47 degrees today. I am just back from coffee and walking over a mile at the gym with three other men. We are getting into a routine for the walking and that is good and it is beneficial to us all.
I have a luncheon to attend at one o'clock with a group of men. We are going to the airport at the nearby town of Lawrenceville as they have a good restaurant and we always enjoy going there. Nothing else on the plate today that I am aware of.
Janet, it looked from the forecast that Kansas, Missouri and several other midwest states were in for some heavy snow. I know it was very cold over the weekend in northern Iowa where my sister lives. Glad that call-in to work didn't turn out to be too exhausting.
Etta Sue, it sounds like you are mastering the software used by your church. There are several ways to save Utube videos. I just did a search on "saving Utube video files" on Google and it gave a lot of reference material. I have aprogram on my computer called CaptureWhizPro, which will capture up to 10 minutes or so of video playing on your computer. I forget how much I paid for it but it works very well for that and also capturing anything you see on your screen as a flat image.
Marilyn, good to read that your friend was feeling better when you visited her in the hospital.
Liz, hope you will be able to visit with your friend before too long.
A special hi to everyone else who has posted or will post today.

Pat ~ Thanks for the new devotion. Just goes to show you that anything you do for God isn't a waste! I love that story in the Bible.
Thanks Larry and Don on your help for me to save YouTube to my computer. I have tried kissyoutube.com three times and each time it causes Firefox to not respond so I don't think that will work. Will try the searching...now why didn't I think of that?? ::)
My friend/classmate from Mexico has found out that his son has cancer througout his body and isn't expected to live over 6 months. David is in the hospital now and is told if he leaves there, he will have to go to hospice. David is in the hospital at Noblesville. Rex has asked me to call his ex-wife sometimes and find out how David is and then let him know through IM or email. Would save them lots of money instead of phone calling. If you would, put David on your prayer list, please.
Not much going on here today. Haven't even had Pandora on yet! Kind of quiet. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

I got my blood test results. Woo Hoo
My Cholesterol is 189 Hallelujah I am totally amazed. LDL is 109 HDL is 63 triglycerides are 90, all I take is Red Yeast Rice, no statin drugs for me.
:)Good dayto all. It seems that the time is just going to fast. I checked back and there wee so many post's to read. So many people are needing prayer for so many things and of course the situation in the whole world regarding closures and job loses.
Janet: I do think of you many times and always wonder when you will actually say that's it to your employer. You sond that you have had it and as otherrs have said you can only do so much. Please look after yourself.
Judy B. Yes that was Noreen that was on W.D.C.X. and I have also been on to. It is so great to be able to talk to such a Godly man as Neil Bouron and he never cuts his audience of when he is interviewing them.
Pat: Thank you for the devotional and for the previous one re: mariage it was so good and easy to understand to bad this world is so mixed up. Love ya sis <3
Please continue to pray for my kids that lost there jobs. Also pray for my oldest son who will be having surgery this Thursday to do with a sport's injury My wife still has had know response from our Government hospital ins. re her out of country surgery. :)
To all others I have read all the post's and will be thinking of each one of you. May the Lord be with you all and give you a wonderful week. God bless. Gord and Noreen.
Hello everyone,
It has been a while since I have had an opportunity to sit down and write, and since I promised Gordon that I would do so here I am.
First, I want to thank God for answering the prayers of my friends arcoss the country and in Canada concerning my wife. Her chemo treatment finished just before Thanksgiving and it had little effect on her MS. I know several people from C.P. had us on their prayer list, my heart felt thank you.
Our son returned savely from Afganistan, after 4 months there.
A freind of mine informed me the other day about 3 children at John Hopkins being treated for cancer. I will ask each of you all to keep the 3 children in your prayers. It seems that the children were abandoned by their parents. One child expressed they felt unlovable because of their illnes. Keep me in your prayers. I would like to find them without breaking the confidentiality laws. They need to know that God loves them and there are people who love them jst because they are a child.
Second, sorry I missed the last couple of challanges. My digital SLR broke and Sony is giving me a run around about fixing it. Damaged pins for the memory card are bent. Any body who of a reputable company who can repair a Sony A-100 without cost an arm and a leg, please send me a private email.
Enough for now I have missed you all. God bless
Earl Kauffman (Papasmirf)
What I write is such nonsense and meaningless as compared to so many in need of prayers here. My thoughts and prayers for all of you.
We went to the community Baptist church on Sunday and knew every song we sang except one - love those good old songs that live forever. It is really interesting and fun to visit so many churches and great to meet the people. Then, we walked at nearby Honeybee canyon. It is not far but tough to walk in several inches on sand for an hour and my legs felt like jello when we returned. We didn't do much in the afternoon.
Marilyn: Congrats on the test. I saw your note on Facebook. Can't get the hang of it yet - but great that a niece found me there as I do want to keep in touch with her.

Amazing Love (http://christianphotographers.com/sounds/amazinglove.mid)
(Click to hear music)
My Lord what love is this?
That paid so dearly
That I, the guilty one, may go free.
Chorus:
Amazing love, oh what sacrifice
The Son of God, given for me
My debt He paid, and my death He died
That I, might live.
That I, might live.
And so, they watched Him die
Despised and rejected
But oh, the blood He shed, flowed for me.
Chorus:
Amazing love, oh what sacrifice
The Son of God, given for me
My debt He paid, and my death He died
That I, might live.
That I, might live.
And now, this love of Christ
Will flow, like rivers
Come wash, your guilt away, And live again.
Chorus:
Amazing love, oh what sacrifice
The Son of God, given for me
My debt He paid, and my death He died
That I, might live.
That I, might live.

I had planned to stay home today, most of the day, anyway. But my friend Pat called and wanted me to go to Garden with her. She had a dental appointment, and also wanted to do a few other things. So I went along, and taught her how to use the photo machines at Walmart. She got 344 photos! And I got the ones printed from Beth's camera card, so that was good. While she was seeing the dentist, I sat in the waiting room, read my latest Dive Training magazine and some mail I had neglected. It was an enjoyable hour and a half....then we ate at Golden Corral and came home. It has been snowing off and on all day. Too cold for heavy snow, just the light, fluffy stuff. It was wind chill -6 this morning with a breeze blowing; I think it got up to actual temp of 18 this afternoon.
If you would, please pray for Darrel. His local doctor sent him to a urologist in another town last week, as he keeps having recurring infections and elevated PSA reports. Tomorrow he has to go back for an ultrasound and some other procedure he didn't understand; but was told it could cause bleeding. He and I are both trying not to worry, but leave it in the Lord's hands.
Gord, the more I think about it, the more I believe I will soon be leaving my job. Somewhere along the line, it just isn't worth it!
Red yeast rice, Marilyn? Is that a pill, or what?
HELP! My spacebar suddenly became hard to make work, just since I started this post!! What can I do??
I am very concerned about Beth. She is now having trouble being able to speak above a whisper.........Dear Lord, please help her. This has been one of those days when the tears have been very close to the surface for me.
Carol nothing you write is nonsense. I emjoy each post of yours.
This has been a tough day. John is home now for a bit so tomorrow will be better.
Good night all!
:)Pat; Thanks for that beautiful hymn I don't remember it but am sure it goes back a long way. How is Paul doing and how is the house coming along. God bless
We are thinking about Beth it must be so hard for you Janet but don't forget that the Lord is able. :)
Good night to all. <3
Janet, you must have heaven's own strength. No matter how much your heart is hurting for Beth, you keep on going, praising God and giving Him the glory for your life and every day. I think we should call you Our Father's Little Energizer Bunny. :) I will pray for Beth, for you, and for Darrel.
Marilyn, that's great news about your cholesterol. I go in next week. I'm on 1500 mgs day of niacin. But I've eaten wrong and feeling sorry so eating wrong again. :( I guess I'll find out how much the niacin is bringing my cholesterol down, and how much was diet. When i let old ugly depression grab me, I only want comfort food. I'm feeling so much better now so I want Heavenly Food...the Word of God and that's my comfort Food.
Pat I listened to that version of Amazing Love and it isn't like the the newer version. The same beautiful words of love and what Christ did for us. His Love really is amazing, absolutely amazing.
Hi everyone. Have just a few minutes before leaving for coffee and then have plans for this morning.
Janet, I will be thinking of Darrell and have walked down that road a few years ago of concern. Also, so sorry to read that Beth seems to be weakening. Hope you find her feeling better.
There are many needs expressed here since I last wrote and am praying for each of these, including the children who feel they are forgotten and not loved. That is very sad.
Maryilyn, good news on your blood tests.
Gord, I understand your concern for your children without work as well as for Noreen.
Well, I had better get ready to leave to pick up my friend for coffee.
Red Yeast Rice is a pill and should be taken with CO q 10 It has a natural statin, Lovastatin. Here is a link to tell you about it.
and here (http://altmedicine.about.com/od/herbsupplementguide/a/redyeastrice.htm)
Good morning. It is very cold here today and with the wind chill factor even colder.
Pat-thanks for that wonderful devotional
Janet-sorry to hear about Beth but will pray.
Hello and Have a good day all. <3
JudyB: You are too kind :)
Janet: Stay strong - sending prayers
We have, in our Prayer & Praise area, a very urgent prayer request posted today by one of our members, WEARE1.
I'd appreciate all of you CLICKING ON THIS LINK (http://www.christianphotographers.com/community/index.php?topic=8004.0) and posting your support for our dear brother. He needs it right now.
And thank you so very much.
Nita, I never knew niacin was used for cholesterol problems. My eldest son had Raynaud's syndrome when he was little and it was used to treat that problem in him. He's 45 years old now and still takes it when he lacks circulation in his extremities.

I have found that savetube.com works for me to download YouTubes to my computer. Also I already have Prism Video Converter but I do have to pay for Plus if I want them in .mov or .mpeg files. And I can see the YouTube videos after they are downloaded by using my VLS Media Player. I forget what file YouTubes are. I downloaded several of Israel Kamakawiole'ole videos. He is a great Hawaiian singer that passed away in '97 but his music is still strong. His 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow' was on the Miss America show last week. Just go to YouTube and put 'Iz' in the search. You will love his music, too!
Seems like all the states east are in for winter advisory weather. We were to have sleet then snow last night but the roads were clear when I got up and just a skim of snow everywhere else. Ivalou called and said she was out of money, milk and bread and wanted to know if I needed anything. I said Yes, a breaded tenderloin at Woody's. So we went to Woody's and I managed to get some things at Dollar General as well. No longer than we were in DG, the car was covered. Now I think I am in a white wonderland. Great big flakes are falling down and I can't even see the highway a quarter of a mile away.
I think Ivalou and I will be glad that we got some staples in for this winter advisory!!
Praying for you all! SIN NO MORE SIN NO MORE SIN NO MORE SIN NO MORE

Sounds like you really got the snow now, Etta Sue.
Washington, DC is getting it too but really not that much.
I want to thank each of you who administer this site. I know it takes an accumulative effort to keep the threads current each week. It also takes some computerezz to keep this site running a lot of the time. And someone had to get the idea for it.
I thank each of you that have responded to my prayer requests. We all need the body of Christ to hold us together. We turn to each other for support and for common sense answers to life's everyday problems.
So thanks again you CPer's for all you do, whether it's expertise, wisdom, or funds to keep this site going.
Thanks Gord for dropping me a line.
I guess I am in a thankful mode this evening.
Awwww... Ed, you are very special. Never forget that. Thank you for the lovely post.
We couldn't run this site without such a great community that we have here--and you are a big part of that.
Pat, I remember years ago my mom used to take Niacin for high cholesterol too. Oatmeal and Niacin. It wasn't spoken much in doctor circles as they were still uneducated about using natural supplements. Now they've come around and you can get some info re natural things to take. Used to, you had to hide them from your doctor. It's good that people are taking their health as their own responsibility, when knowledge is made known.
Hi everyone, I'm Back, (not that I have been anyplace), I just haven't been on here much.
I got a few more boxes packed today, now the china cabinet is all packed up. I have a box started of stuff that I want to make sure Gilbert has in his possession.
Happy got his sutures out today and I took him for a nice long walk when we got back from the Vet. Happy is now a happy dog.
I am going to work for Fay on Thursday to take down yer curtains , wash them and put them back up, her current caregiver is too short to reach the rods. Happy will be at the groomer while I am at Fay's.
Willa came home from the hospital today, She is doing very well, Thanks for all the prayers. God is so good all the time.
Nita is your Doctor keeping up on the natural healing? Over the years I have been here in McKinleyville I have helped to educate the people in my Doctors office, I tell them about something then the do the research, One nurse practitioner told me I had taught her a lot. Nah, I just gave them some information.
Thank you, kind friends, for your encouraging words. They really are a big help.
Marilyn, I cannot take lovastatin, tried it, it makes my shoulders hurt within a week. So guess I won't try the red rice whatever.
Today was quite long. Darrel had NINE needle biopsies! Not a fun experience, for sure. They said results in four days, but that would be Saturday, so probably won't hear until Monday. :( Anyway, I'm sure it will be a long four days. They found three "suspicious areas" in his prostate, and took three biopsies from each one.
After resting for an hour, I went to the care home. Beth had a chicken breast she was trying to eat for supper, and she did not have enough strength to lift it up to her mouth! :'( You can imagine how that makes me feel. I tried to cover up my feelings, and went about packing some of her stuff, getting ready for the move to the new facility. I stopped every little bit, to give her another bite of the chicken or some jello. Dear God, please give us both strength.
It is good to read all your messages, but I don't have the energy tonight to respond to each post. Please forgive me.
Ohhh, Janet!
HUGS!!! :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:
Paul and I will be praying for you and Darrel. Horrible to have those biopsies.
This has been a day full of prayer needs and praise reports.
Janet, I don't know how you keep going...and going...and going. Well, I take that back. I know God keeps you going -- in His strength and peace -- But you also need to accept His rest, as well. I am praying for Beth ... and YOU! <3
I will be leaving in the morning (Wednesday) for a pretty much unexpected trip to California. There is some business that needs my attention and, it seems, that before the end of the week. :-\ I will have to pick up some chains for my car before I leave because the reports are saying "carry chains" over the passes between here and Northern California. I don't have any.
I am not sure how much computer access I will have while gone -- nor how long I will be gone -- so y'all just carry on as if I were here anyway, okay? ;)
I also would like to ask for your prayers, if you think of it, for ease of transactions and safe travel. I'm glad I just got my car taken care of so I don't have that worry anyway.
I'll be talkin' atcha later ....
Hi everyone. Today is Bible Study morning with our pastor as we continue the study of Romans. We are in the 2nd chapter. It is suppose to rain later this morning but move out by this evening. Maybe it will be over by the time I have choir practice this evening.
Janet, sorry to hear that Darrel had to have the biopsies done but it is best to know if there is a problem and this is an area that can be treated very successfully. I know the days of waiting are the most difficult as our minds run away with thoughts. So sorry to read that Beth is so weak. Is this a result from her recent surgery? Just take things one day, or one minute, at a time and let God walk with you. I will be praying for you all.
Jane, hope you have a safe trip over the passes. Glad you got your car fixed recently so you were ready for the trip.
Pat, I have taken niacin for at least 20 years on a daily basis for my heart and to help control the cholestrol. For the last few years I have taken something called Slo Niacin that releases throughout the day.
Marilyn, I am sure Willa is glad to be out of the hospital. Nice of you to help Fay with her curtains.
Etta Sue, sounds like you have the downloading of YouTube videos down and under control.
Ed: Hello, it is nice to see your post.
Janet: Sending you that group hug too - there isn't much to say except that all of us in here do care.
On Pandora, there is lovely music by Fernando Ortega - so soothing. I have built one station as Old Church Music so I can listen to the oldie songs.
Larry: So many times I think of your gifts - you taught us how to use Pandora.
Long day for Don today, a board meeting in Denver, we are in Tucson, via phone (he will use the computer SKYPE method) from early afternoon until 8 PM Rocky Mountain Time. We have worked on my little Singer Featherweight off and on for three days & yesterday "got it working", saving at least $70. We don't even know what we did differently but thank heaven - I had to take a walk just from the frustration that everything was looking perfect but it didn't work. :-[
Our friends sent over part of their dinner last night - how nice - gotta go :coffee:
Janet praying.
Thank you Pat, Jane, Larry, Carol and Judy. Only prayers and faith keep us going, plus strong and sure confidence in the goodness of God.
Jane, my prayer is for God's protection as you travel, and for wisdom and guidance in the matters that have to be done. <3
Carol, good job, repairing your sewing machine!
I have several things to do today, toenail appointment with the senior nurse; moving committee meeting at the care home, more packing for Beth, birthday cards to mail to my youngest, Kerri.
I hope you all have a great day.

Snow! Snow! Snow! I do believe I had/have 15" of that thick white rain on my deck. Tony is here and snow blowing my driveway. At least 12" there. Lots of white stuff! But the sun is shining!!
I put on a pot of ham and beans this morning for lunch and they sure hit the spot. Very good but I know they will be better tomorrow!!!
Just know that I am praying for everyone and their concerns on CP. I am learning more and more how powerful prayer is. Took me awhile but I am learning. /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\

Okay. I give up. When I came to CP a little window said I have a Personal Message. I clicked yes to see it now. But it didn't take me to it. I have looked and looked. How do I get to my personal messages. Used to it was on the sidebar but I don't see it now. Help? I got a couple this week by email notification but not today.
Etta Sue: About your messages there is a darker blue area the words home, forum, map. help, search, profile, my messages, this is the next one click on that and there you are. Hope this is of some help.
Hello from snowy southern Ontario it started to snow this morning and it is still arriving we are to have lots by evening. Mel & I went for our regular Wednesday coffee at Tim's and now we are home for the rest of the day. Earlier I had done 2 loads of laundry, I baked an apple pie and now a small roast of pork is in the oven. The rest of the day will be spent filing paper in the proper places and yes some will go to the gargage as well.
Bye from snowy southern Ontario Ruth
Ruth, how much snow is there right now?
I'm considering driving up to Ontario at the weekend.
Pat according to the radio the busses in Guelph were on a snow day today. Tomorrow is supposed to be more of the same. Give it a day or two and let this blow itself out. Visibility was only about 700 feet, or 15 travelling seconds at 80 kmph. The road was snow covered and slippery. The joob the plows are doing is sub-standard.
Came home and the girls have the dishes done and the sweepup done!!!! Woohoo
Got to go and eat. Really hungry today.
Janet, I must have missed that Beth was being moved? Is this a recent decision? My heart sure hurts for you all. I'm praying with all here for your strength through this.
Carol, doesn't Fernando Ortega have just the most soothing voice? I've not found anything he's done that I disliked. I have him on Pandora too.
I would think about cooking a pot of beans, Etta Sue, but I can't seem to get the energy. I tend to have more than one nap every day. Whatever is wrong, I think it's about time I'm over it. I'll talk to my doctor next week, and see if this is just a regular cold, allergies, all of the above, or more. But beans and cornbread does sound really good. :)
Nita, yes, Beth is to be moved---along with all of the other residents of the care home! We have built a brand new facility, just a block from the present one, and the move-in date was set for February 11. Then today at the moving committee meeting, we were informed that the State Fire Marshall was here, and seems he is one of those who likes to "throw his weight around" and found something wrong, and refuses to come back for the final inspection until March. So now the date is set for--tentatively, at least---March 25th. I won't even be in the country then, how can I help move Beth and Mom? :ticked: :'(
Ruth, it sounds as if you are enjoying being home. Good for you!
Our warm weather returned again today, only needed a sweatshirt or sweater. But we sure need moisture!
I have to work early tomorrow (6 AM) so better be getting myself to bed. I have been sitting here editing my sister's book. It's fun.
Beth did seem a little bit stronger today, praise God. And I got two more boxes of her stuff packed, too.
Thanks for the weather update, Judy.
That's awful, Janet. I'm sorry you're going through this.
Me too, Janet.
Hi Pat,
That was a wonderful devotion. Thank you very much. It has given me much to meditate on.
I thought you might like to know that our prayers for my friend Niki have been answered. She responded very well
to the chemotherapy and had a successful operation a short while back. Next week she starts radiotherapy and
after that her treatment is finished. Praise our wonderful God!
I was wondering if you could keep us in your prayers the next few weeks. Here in Southern Australia we are going
through a severe heat wave. I am writing this at 11.30 PM Saturday night and I just checked my outside thermometer and it is reading nearly 9o degrees. During today it hovered between 115-120 degrees. It was the same yesterday and is expected to be the same tommorrow. Next week will be in the 90's every day with no rain expected at all for some time. All this is resulting in extremely dry forests and as a result a very strong possibility of Bushfires(Wildfires). Today my state(Victoria) had about 6 outbreaks and the firefighters are still battling them. They think some were even lit deliberately. We live with this threat every summer, but I think this time the threat will be severe at least for the next 2-3 weeks.
Thank you so much for your prayers,
God bless you all,
Rob.
Thanks for the update on Niki, Rob. That's wonderful news. This cancer is such a terrible disease. I'm not sure if you were reading in here or not but Judy and I lost our dear brother to it back in the fall and I've just not been able to get over his death too well but what a wonderful place he's in now! Praise the Lord!
I was wondering also how you did with your surgery. I hope all went well and you have no more hernias.
On another site that some of us are on, Seniors & Friends (http://seniorsandfriends.org), I've been hearing from our Aussie friends about the extreme heat you've been having.
And here in Washington, DC, we had the first snow of the season while my home up in Guelph has been covered in snow numerous times this winter!
Please post again soon. Have a wonderful Sunday, Rob!

Ruth ~ Thanks for directing me to the Messages. I looked on that line and I guess since it didn't say 'Personal' Messages, I went right past it.
Well, after just one day of having to stay in, Kitty and I are going to venture out today. We have a photo contest that needs to be entered by the 24th of February so we are going for matte boards, frames, printer ink and whatever else we can find. I told her I would leave the house at noon. That way she can fix lunch for her hubby.
It didn't snow any last night...just sooo cold. 20% chance of snow this afternoon. So we should be fine! We got 12.5 inches of snow in 24 hours. That ranks 6th for the most snow fall in 24 hours in the history of Indiana. It sure did come down! xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo

Hi everyone. Thanks for mentioning Fernando Ortega as I had never heard of him. I added a radio station on Pandora for him and am listening to him as I write. I also like the feature of hearing other similar artists on the same station.
I just heard on the radio this morning the weather folks in our area are watching developing weather for the first of the week saying there is a potential for a blizzard type situation like we last had in 1993. I sure hope they are wrong.
My wife has gone with a friend this morning to a quilt shop as the friend was looking for some quilting material of a particular type. Carol, do you have the problem of seldom having just the right things from your cloth stash when you start a new project? I am sure she will find a little something in fabric that she will want.
After coffee this morning four of us walked at the gym of the church. Then I stopped a the bank to cash a check I had written out this earlier this morning but found I had left it on my desk. Fortunately the teller said she could use a counter check so I didn't have to make an extra trip. Good thing because Pat was waiting for me to get home with some money before she left (bad sign) :).
Nothing much else on the agenda for today as don't have to be anywhere else.
I have read all the posts and Rob glad to see your positive posting about the cancer situation. It sure is hot down your way. Do you have any air-conditioning?
Janet, that is disappointing news about the delay in moving to the new home for Beth and your mother. However, I am sure they will get them moved.
Pat, it sounds like staying in the south a little longer might be wise although sure you are anxious to get back to Guelph. Do you bring Geordie with you to Virginia?
Hello All!
How's everyone doing? I hope all is well! Around here things are going well. I quit my job about 2 weeks ago due to them telling me to choose between my husband and the store so granted I choose my husband and so they can have their store. Oh well I already have a new job and its a managment position on the night shift... They need a response closing person I had explained to my new boss why I quit my job of four years with no notice and she fully understood. Anyways just thought i'd drop in and tell ya'll i was still around! Hope you have a good day and good week!
Sarah
Hello, everyone!
Sarah, good to hear from you. That's sure the choice I would have made in that situation! I like my hubby! ;)
I worked, went by to check on Beth and Mom, and am about to fall asleep on my keyboard. So I am going to my recliner for a nap!
Pat: You know what winter driving is all about and you will make out fine. I understand that the next real storm is coming on Monday. Yes more snow but I did understand that Guelph has less than we do. But I really feel sorry for those roasted folk in Australia.
Pat: Seniors and Friends did not open was something missing?
Etta Sue: You are welcome.
I have come to check on some of the computer settings which did seem ok. Then I will be going to finish reading a magazine so I can have it in tomorrows blue box (garbage).
Pat I was just talking to John and he has stopped in Guelph. There is a storm in that area and the roads are bad, not being cleared well at all. He suggests you wait a day or two more. We are still getting it up here.
I am off to bed early tonight. I too am tired. Tomorrow is my last day at work and I am ok with that. It is a burden lifted.
Have a good night everyone. Sleep well.
Judy B: I didn't realize your work would be over. Take care.
Janet: Stop and think about this - Beth and your mom need to be moved & you would be there working your tush off - some higher power changed the date so you cannot be in there doing too much. Hmmmm? Maybe this is the best thing for you right now.
Larry: Pat knows that the colors never match with what you have in the stash. It would be better if we were color blind; it would save a lot of money in the long run. I now have built several stations and one is all ABBA records or likewise, and another Old Church Music. My cousin came and I showed him how to use Pandora - I wish he would get on CP - he is a wonderful person (but he needs help on computers).
Rob: Praying - these hot temperatures are really frightful.
Good Morning Everyone. This is my first post in here, hope i have it in the right place, and just wanted to let you know the wife and i are off to the lake today for a few hours to goof off and will be back tonight. Hope everyone has a blessed day.
Don
PAt Was talking to John . Whole area covered in black ice. But the report on Guelph radio is good weather for tomorrow and Sunday then it is to sock in again on Monday. So perhaps now is the time to head north.
Was to work today. Stupid van won't start. God knows why but I certainly don't. Another lady is covering my shift. The boss left last night.
Sooo I have sewing to do and other work to do as well. This is the beginning of a nes season in my life. God is in control and I rest in that.
Don you were posting at the same time I was. Enjoy your day!
Have a good day folks I will be back.
I finished editing my sister's book last night. I corrected many mistakes in spelling and punctuation; suggested other changes; encouraged her not to use so many incomplete sentences, and added a few of my own memories to the stories she had written about our childhood. She knows she is free to accept or reject any suggestions. It was an enjoyable experience for me, and I will get it back in the mail to her today.
It is COLD here this morning!
I have several things I have been putting off doing and have decided this is the day to get them done. So.....off I go to do them!
Hi everyone. It is a sunny but cold day here today and the wind has come up a bit. It is only getting to 47 degrees today. After coffee at the Senior Center, where we had 15 men show up this morning, I went to Kroger's to do some grocery shopping. The few items I picked up came to almost $50. Every time I go to the store the prices seem to have increased.
We just had a call for friends asking if we wanted to meet for dinner this evening and then come to their house to play dominos. Of course we said yes. I had no other plans for the day or evening.
Sarah, I agree with your decision as it sounds like your former employer was being very unreasonable. I am sure your new employer will be glad to have someone with the experience you have.
Pat, it sounds like from the various reports from Ruth and Judy that it could be a tough trip back to Guelph at this time. After I asked about Geordie yesterday I read on another discussion that you do have him with you.
Janet, the book sounds interesting. I am sure your sister appreciates your help. It is not likely her book could be published with incomplete sentences.
Don, glad to see you posting here and hope you have had a good time at the lake.
(https://www.christianphotographers.com/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi195.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fz77%2FEttaSue%2FCP%2FAnis%2FCatinflowers.gif&hash=2b5306cbb7fccffb042f5d2f80f968e21008cae3)
Well, Kitty and I got everything purchased that we went after. We also did have lunch out...where else but a Mexican restaurant? Then we went to three stores. When I left the house, I had to take about 6 steps in snow up to my knees so I said I needed to be back home so I could see where I was going since I didn't leave any outside lights on. There was a bad accident west of me...three cars out in the side ditches and fields...the road was really slick there due the blowing snow across the road. Kitty's road was only about 1 and a third lanes where the road was out in the open. I turned into Kitty's drive and it was almost drifted back but I made it. She has a U shaped drive so the other end was okay. My road was fine. My county does great road work. Kitty called to make sure I got home okay. I told her to tell Bob to come in on their east drive. He didn't. He got stuck! Neighbor kids pushed him out! MEN!
The snow plows have been by here 4 times all ready today!
I woke up around 4:30am this morning. I couldn't go back to sleep. I got up again a little after 5am. Today is Tony's birthday so I turned on the computer and sent him an email on his cell phone telling him he was 48 years, 5 hours and 20 minutes old! He wrote back and said, 'Thank you...now go back to bed.' I didn't. Still up. Now I feel a nap coming on this afternoon.
JudyB ~ Enjoy your time at home the rest of this winter season. Perhaps find a job in the spring! ---<---<-@---<---<-@---<---<-@---<---<-@---<---<-@---<---<-@

We have decided to get chickens again this year. and put in a good sized garden. Those of our adult kids who help with the work will get a portion. That will help all through the next winter. Didn't get done last year because I was working.
Trying to download adobe. Between dial up and a slow puter it is taking forever.
Till later
:cheer: :thumbsup2: :excited:  I got my entire list of 'stuff' done today!! And I am very happy about it! ;) (Bet you couldn't tell, huh?)
Don, welcome! Hope to see you posting often here.
Etta Sue, I really, really wish some of you could share that white stuff with us. It is so dry here we are worried about the trees and such. Back up into the 60s today.
I am working tomorrow morning 6-2, then in the evening I am going to the kick-off banquet for New Ulysses' 100th birthday year. The town was founded three miles east of the present site, then moved to avoid paying some bonds. ::) :-\ ??? A fellow I know is doing a concert and I want to see/hear him, so I'm attending the banquet.
Sweet dreams, everyone!
Don has gone to a bank & this transaction has already taken three trips. It seems that we know more than the poor untrained fellow who is a manager. It will also take almost a week longer because there is no urgency in their work.
Larry: I just invited friends over here in an hour - isn't it fun to do spur of the minute things like going out or whatever?
Cannot get on Seniors & Friends.
I have been choosing fabric and putting everything on the floor to look at & sewing - neck has a sore spot in it now.
Hello Pat,
I just read your reply to my post and realized I typed that it was Saturday night. I think the heat must have been getting to me because it was actually Thursday night. Sorry about that. Yesterday we decided to drive down the coast and spend the day at the beach. It was beautiful. The sea breeze just washed the heat away, but when we drove back we stopped at a restaurant for a meal and when we got out of the car the heat hit us.
Thank you for asking about my Hernia operation. It went well and I am healing fine. I don't know if you remember but I was also diagnosed with Colon cancer about 2 years ago. I was lucky as it was in the early stages and the surgeon was able to operate and remove part of my bowel. The hernias developed along the original incision. Everything is fine now and I had tests done last Monday which showed all is well.
God bless,
Rob
:)Hi to all. It is very late and it is still very cold and today we had more snow in the Niagara Falls Region.
Don: It is nice to see you posting and we hope that you continue. :)
Paul and Pat. Hope that you have a wonderful trip if you are coming up to Guelph. Be careful. Love ya Sis. <3
Rob: My Brother used to live in Australia and I can remember he would tell me about the heat. He now lives in New Zealand and they are getting a very warm time this year also :)
Judy B. I also did not know that you would be finishing your job. Say hi to John and to Heather. Love ya little sis. <3
Larry: How is your daughter hope that she is doing better. Also how are you and your wife doing hope that you are not overdoing it. God bless. :)
Al: How are you doing ? Are you sleeping in your own bed or are you still in the lazy boy hope that the legs are getting better. :coffee:
Good night or good morning to all and have a great day in the Lord's house this Sunday. <3
Hi everyone. I am up and ready to go to coffee. This morning we are going back to the Cafe where we used to us as it is under new ownership and they have made a lot of changes. We have eaten lunch there a couple of time.
We had a good time last night when we met our friends at the Texas Roadhouse for dinner and then went to the home of one of the couples and played Mexican Train. I didn't win other than to be in the company of good friends and having a good time.
Pat is attending a women's group luncheon at our church at noon today.
Today is our daughter's 44th birthday. We will go down to her apartment after church tomorrow and take her out to lunch. She seems to be getting along pretty good but is awaiting to get the callback from the IRA to go back to work for the tax season, at least on a part-time basis.
Etta Sue, it sounds like you have a lot of snow up your way. Glad you didn't get stuck when you were out in it.
Carol, I am sure you have probably seen the note from Pat that the Seniors & Friends site is migrating to a new server so probably won't be available for a little bit.
Gord, things seem to be going fairly well with our family. Hope your family is doing well.
Rob, glad to see you had a nice day at the beach.
Janet, guess you are working as I write this. Hope you have a fairly light work day and enjoy your event this evening.
Judy, it does take a long time to download a large program over dialup and the Adobe programs are large.
Good Morning Everyone
Ann,shes is my wife, and i made it back home last night about 7pm. We had a great day at the lake. Sure was good to get away and do whatever we wanted, which wasn't much, just ride around the lake and take photos. We didn't even have to get out of the car. This is the only place i have ever been that provides so many photo opportunities right from the seat of your car. All kinds of birds and other wildlife. When we got home we had photos of Egrets, Heron, Ducks, Geese, Nutria and Deer. I'll post some when i get time to process them.
We are going to do it again today if i can get Ann out of the bed. Don't know where we are going and don't really care. :)
Have a blessed day everyone
Don
Gord I didn't tell many that I was leaving my job. It was a matter of need to know. Have a good weekend brother.
Finally got the car running yesterday afternoon. Everyone starts off saying that it is the starter, then ends up saying no it is electronics. The last person said probably the computer. That will be a problem if it is the computer.
It is cold again today. Janet I understand your need for rain, but I would love to have your warmth.
I must go I have a job I want to complete today.

Sorry to hear about your car Judy. Wish i were closer so maybe i could help you out with it, i'm pretty good with cars, all i did for 20 years was repair cars. Hope you can get it straightened out.
Don
Thank you for that Don. We am convinced that it is electronics. Turn the key and it clicks. if it was battery (and It has been but the battery was replaced) it would do nothing. If it was the starter it would never start. But if we try often enough it does start. Also other electronic things stop working intermittently, then restart. It is always a toss up if it will start any one day. We have a young lad in town here who has specialized in vehicle computers, but with money tight we haven't gone that route yet. We will, just a matter of getting the $$$ together first. This lad has the dealerships going to him when they can't figure the problem out.
I am looking for a beater that is reliable so we can do the necessary work on this one to get it reliable again. I love driving this car, it has all the bells and whistles and really don't want to scrap it.
Rob: You have been through a lot with the diagnosis of colon cancer. So glad to read that it was caught early.
Today, I am going to the market for ingredients all for watching the Super Bowl tomorrow. Rooting for the Arizona Cardinals - the quarterback, Warner, has an interesting religious background & he and his wife are fine people. That is something not always found in the hype of sports in this country.
Good morning all! Looks like another day without rain here. We need more rain, as it's up only to about 60% of normal so far.
Gord - thanks for asking about my situation. The swelling is pretty much gone in the legs, and they don't have to be wrapped anymore. There is one fairly small spot on the left one where it has opened up just a bit, so that's a concern and requires a special kind of dressing that's expensive and a bit difficult to get. However, i went to 3M and McKesson on line and was able to get some ordered. I'm still using the recliner for sleeping. If we can get this one open spot to heal I might be back in bed.
Al That IS good news.
Hello John and Judy,
My friend Art's son in law has a Dodge caravan which he bought for a song because it had similar intermittent starting problems. The lady basically gave the car away and Tom took on the challenge. He changed the computer with no success etc. and the van sat around for a year or so at least. He finally went to Craig's list web site on his computer and found maybe three others with the same problem of frustration. (As I think back, I remember a Chrysler town and country - 1998 or 99 - that died stopping in front on my house which they had to have towed away and I'll bet it was the same problem.) Tom found on Craig's List that the problem was a bad solder joint connection on a computer board. I think Tom was "Scotch" enough that he probably re-soldered the bad connection. I just tried to call him but no one is home. If you want further info, let me know. He now has a new van with very low mileage!
By the way, I have the same van as you may remember and I'm thankful to my Lord that I haven't had the problem yet?
Hi everyone. My client's car has a problem that it only starts with the sun shines. If it is foggy or raining the car doesn't start. The daughter keeps telling me it is the battery, the battery is new and when it does start it kicks over on the first turn of the key. I thought maybe the electric fuel pump because I can hear it running but it seems not to be getting any gas. or maybe a fuel filter. Her son thinks it is water getting in the distributor. However they want ME to be the one to take it to the shop, and to walk home, What am I supposed to do with my car for heavens sakes? That car has over 250,000 miles on the odometer.
Not much new here, I picked up my ring from having it fixed yesterday. I will have to take a photo for y-all to see.
Going to a wedding this afternoon for the gal next doors daughter.
Back to my corner :P

I woke today to see one of those mornings where everything was covered with frost. But I was a tad too late to take good pictures. The sun soon melted the frost. Saturday is always a morning of doing things that I only do on Saturday plus today I did a load of laundry. So I have done a lot of piddly things!
This evening I am going to Tony's and her folks, brother and sister-in-law, Tony, Charlene and I are going out for Tony's birthday pizza! I love eating pizza out...doesn't taste a thing like frozen pizza baked!
That's about it, folks!\\//\\//\\//\\//\\//\\//\\//\\//\\//\\//\\//\\//\\

Hi, friends,
Well, I've just spent a wonderful period of time reading and catching up on this website. Now, it's time to "look alive" and get more done! ;)
It's in the 40's here in Nashville with beautiful sun shining. Tomorrow promises to be even warmer. Thank goodness for these occasional spring-like days.
It's so good to hear from everyone. I wish there were some way to let y'all know how important you are to me. You're like my second family, and what goes in on your lives is important and a means to help me keep in touch with you and to pray with and for you.
Y'all have a wonderful God-filled day.
Ruth Ann
Ruth Ann you are important to us here too. We love to read of your adventures with moving and settling in.
Paul that sounds like the problem. Now If you could find out more that would be great. I have sent the info to Doug and will hear from him tonight. Thank you for remembering that. Thank you for your help. Now for the dutch to figure out how to fix it.
Getting some needed work done. Not rushing it. Just taking baby steps.
Bye alll
Hello! I am about ready for a little nap! I worked today by myself (Only one cook on weekends) and the lunch menu was: Smothered steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, creamed peas, tomato spoon salad, rolls and butter and poke cake. So that kept me plenty busy. The CNA was really good about helping with the dishes, so that was a big help!
Good to read all of your posts!
It is 63 here again today, really a beautiful day with no wind. Wish you could all enjoy it![/b
Edit: I see my temperature thingy below says 70 now! Wow! :)]
Good evening y'all -
I've had company all week so haven't been on much. I had to take her back to the airport this morning and just so happened to take my camera with me. This is what I took a picture of - kinda scary when you are just looking around and not expecting it! ;)[attachimg=#]
Good morning everyone. We are in the midst of a snow storm here so it looks like there will be no church today :(
Al-so glad to hear that update on your legs and to know the swelling is gone down in your legs, praying that one spot will be healed also.
Have a great day each one <3
Hi everyone. It is a beautiful, sunny morning and 26 degrees but to get up to about 60 degrees by the afternoon. I am ready for churc but it is still about 40 minutes before it is time to leave. Today is a special day at church as we formally install our new associate pastor. It is also Communion Sunday so it will be a long service. We are having a combined service with our contemporary service. Following the service there is a reception for our new associate pastor and her husband. However, it is our daughter's birthday celebration and we are leaving right after church to go to downtown Atlanta and take her out to lunch. Pat will later help her with her laundry as it is hard for her to get into the laundry room with the powerchair and the laundry cart that she has. I have the manual wheelchair in the car to use today as can't put the powerchair in the car.
Al, glad to hear of the success of your leg wraps and hope the little place that is still a problem heals soon.
Hope everyone has a great day.
Sounds like a full day Larry.
Our Associate pastor is leaving and today is his final Sunday. We too are having a luncheon at the church as a farewell to him. It is interesting that he is going to Listowel to work with another dear friend of ours. We are threatening to sell everything and follow him there. Not likely to happen but it would be nice to go there.
We here in the north have snow yet again. Janet I will bundle it all up and send it your way!
Have to run need to leave in 15 min.
Later and know you are prayed for.
I am ready for church but I still have at least an hour before I leave. I got a call yesterday that we are supposed to wear football jerseys to church today and that the service will be different, I wonder what that means. At 3 there is to be a super Bowl party at the church in the fellowship hall, I think I will go to that too, although I sure don't need to be eat all the food. I do ope the service this morning isn't focused on football that just wouldn't seem right. Maybe it will be focused on all the players who are Christians. but that is speculation too. I will come back and let y-all know. I don't have a football jersey so I me wearing my Curves 400 workouts t-shirt with a blue thermal under it. I actually ave over 500 workouts but my t-shirt hasn't arrived yet.
Have a blessed day all y-all.
Yes, Superbowl Sunday again, already! I am rooting for the Cardinals this time, but it's still hours yet until kickoff. I am doing some laundry, and will bring my card-making supplies to the dining table so I can watch the game with Darrel and still do something constructive.
I think a nap may be next on my agenda. I was so drowsy all through church that I heard little that was said. :-[ A body can only endure so much, I guess.
Larry and Pat, have a safe trip and give Stacy my best on her birthday!

Okay...here is my adventure last evening. The roads were clear going to Tony's home...about 13 miles away the way I went last evening. Some roads had snow covering them but had recently been plowed smooth. Tony drove and we went to a Pizza place. Great meal and a great time with everyone there. We went back to Tony and Charlene's for present opening. I left at about 8:45pm...early for me. About a mile and a half from Tony, a car was coming toward me about a block away and all of a sudden it veered to the right and off the road into a side ditch. Just missed a utility pole!! I slowed down and realized that I was in snow about a foot deep!!! I got past the car and the road cleared up again. Anywhere that the road had fields on the south, there was lots of snow on the road.
On the north/south highway, it looked like it could be black ice so I was very cautious on it.
Then I turned off the highway onto my road and immediately saw flashing lights way down the road. The road was covered with snow...3inches to a foot of snow. I thought about turning at the first cross road and going around but decided I could go to the next crossroad. When I got there, I decided the flashing lights were at my house! So I went ahead. I got to Kaye Don and Barb's and had to stop. All our homes were okay. There was a pickup with flashers on and a wrecker in front of Ivalou's with flashers on. I called Ivalou on the cell and she didn't know anything was going on. (Her family room is in the back of the house.) Then the pickup decided to try to turn around in the road. I backed into Kaye Don's drive. Then I saw another wrecker and 2-3 cars behind it. I waved the pickup down and asked if I could get in my drive that I lived in the third house. He said the wrecker was getting a car out and when that was done, I could get home. About 10 minutes, they all left.
So I pulled in my drive...and almost got stuck. Then I turned to go into my garage and DID get stuck! I went forward, backward a dozen times and finally pulled into the garage. Where I was in snow shin deep in the yard when going to Tony's, it was now no snow and I could see the landscape rocks. But the snow was all on my drive!!!
The wind howled all night but was I surprised that when I got up, no wind and 38 degrees. I looked out and the drive looked fairly good. Going to church all the roads were snow covered but the snow plows had been through. Where they pulled the car out, it was really roughed up there...I think that car might have turned over! After church and eating out, the roads are all melted and it is 47 degrees. Getting in my car after eating out, it was actually hot!!!!
Today I took my camera to church to take random shots of anything, everything, anyone, everyone for the Church directory. Tiring but satisfying job...only because my back started hurting from standing up so much. But I will take it again next week and that should be enough.
My classmate in Mexico's son passed away yesterday afternoon. Please say a prayer for his family. David was only 45.

We left North Bay at 5:10 pm tonight and were faced with the most spectacular sunset tonight The clouds looked like they were on fire! We attempted to get home before it ended but alas at 5:34 the clouds were grey against a grey sky. I have never seen a sunset "disappear" in such a short time!
Well today was the farewell to Pastor Jeff and family, complete with dinner. Former members including our last associate pastor came to say farewell. They have bought a home in which they had 3 bedrooms. They have built 3 bedrooms in the basement giving them 6 bedrooms. These fine people have 7 children. The last three a boy of about 2 and a set of twins of 8 months. These folks will be sadly missed.
Gord I will return your call tomorrow. A lot on my plate tonight.
Have a good night everyone.
Quote from: Samantha on January 31, 2009, 07:59:25 PMI had to take her back to the airport this morning and just so happened to take my camera with me. This is what I took a picture of - kinda scary when you are just looking around and not expecting it! ;)
That shot coulda been taken at Detroit Metro. NWA runway runs right over Merriman Rd.
It's gettin' toward that time again, so here's a new one.

Hi, I'm here, and would have posted in the new message board, but it was giving me an error message that it's off limits to me.
About moving adventures, Judy, I safely got a heavy box down from the shelf to begin emptying it. My 6'-4" son put it up there, and the shelf itself is higher than my head.
Between my arms, groans, grunts, and balancing the box on my head for a few moments, that box is now on the corner of my desk, shortly to be on the floor.
We, too, had a dinner at church today. Each first Sunday of the month is family day at our church with families sitting together, sometimes 3 and 4 generations lining 2-3 pews! Then after a.m. worship, we meet for a potluck dinner in the fellowship hall.
So, I was up about dawn making food to take. Most of it was eaten, and what came home with me will be mighty good later this week.
Y'all have a great rest of the day.
Ruth Ann
I keep getting that message too, Ruth Ann ... :-\ I got home about 3 p.m. after a quick trip to California. It was physically tiring as well as very emotionally draining. I am too tired, right now, to wait for the new board to open up so I'll come back in the morning and see what's cooking.
