Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Carol: My husband Don is with the angels.....Our family was able to hold  ourselves together for the last moments.  Juar rhoufhr you might want to know. 2022-04-29, 23:35:15

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

Beautiful, LIZ!  Thanks for sharing.
Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass .... it's about learning to dance in the rain!

Thank you Liz the Rose if beautiful.

We've been there a couple of times.  Liz is only showing a little of it!  There's much, much more, and it's all great!  They have a program in the evening that's really worth attending also.

Liz, that's a gorgeous photo!  I've heard of Butchart Gardens so often but I've never been there.  I'd sure love to go.

Would one of you who have been there please answer the question asked earlier:  WHERE is it?  Thanks. (It wasn't my question, but I also would like to know.)

Taken from "Victoria Visitors' Guide, Vancouver Island, Canada".

We were there on vacation a few years back, and I kept all the various brochures.

"No trip to Victoria is complete without a visit to the Butchart Gardens.  First created in 1904 when Jennie Butchart began to beautify the limestone quarry used for the family cement business, today the 50 acre estate features extraordinary themed gardens including the Sunken, Italian, Rose and Japenese Gardens.  From mid-June to mid-September, take in the night illuminations that magically transform the entire Gardens.  There are fireworks on Saturday nights in July and August, festive decor, lighting and entertainment over the Christmas season, and indoor Historical Display from mid-January through March 31st and a Spring Prelude in the conservatory mid-January through mid-March.  All year-round, there is a splendour to see at the Gardens.  With charming restaurants and Seed & Gift store, you can plan to take a whole day to visit the Burchart Gardens-and it will be a most memorable experience."

Sorry, Janet, I replied in Liz's other Butchart Gardens topic.  I was telling Daniel that it's in British Columbia, Canada

Terrific write-up, Sue.

:-[ I saw your answer after I asked the question again, Pat.  But I enjoyed the write-up that Sue added.  Thanks to both of you.  Sounds like a lovely place to visit!
