Dear Janet,  I thought I ought to warn you that as  result of reading your message yesterday in NEM about not posting any more photos, I have felt compelled to write to my Prime Minister and hand him a petition from many concerned citizens.  A copy of the letter and petition is given below.

Dear Prime Minister

I know how close you are to the United States and how much you have extolled the values of that country at every opportunity.  You have taught us in this country that the USA stands for freedom above everything else.  I am afraid that I have something grave to say about one American citizen who is challenging those values that are at the very core of her own society.  Her name is Janet Damon who for many years has thrilled people from all over the world with photographs of pretty grandaughters and good looking grandsons and also amazing shots of the underwater world as well as a whole hosts of other different subjects.  In an international fit of stinginess she has threatened never to post her photos again thus denying everyone over here of ever seeing those amazing shots again.  Dear Prime Minister, I ask you to act in an unprecidented manner to stop this lady from carrying out her appauling plans.

I have included the petition with this letter.
