It was real windy out there yesterday thus the hair standing up.

Great to see these, Marilyn.  Did you get any closer up?  Wow!  Wish they'd come to Ontario!

This isn't all the pix.  Chris took several also, and he will post them when they get back home.  That's the restaurant in the background.  To our right was the pier at Trinidad - the same one from which I took and posted several pix previously. They do a lot of fishing from this harbor, particularly crabbing.  The restaurant has crab in many forms during the season - right from the traps to the table!  Directly behind us and behind the restaurant is Trinidad Head, which juts out just a bit into the Pacific, thus forming the harbor.  On the other side of the Head is a beach called Trinidad State Beach.  It's very nice.  From this harbor they get crab, scallops, mussels, tuna, etc., etc.
