Waiting for an Answer
MIKE~These are great shots!! WAITING.... Seems we all wait for one thing or another :-\ ... Each of these photos is unique in its own right .. I don't think I can pick a favorite, I love them all!  :D
Here's one more, I was almost hesitant to post it...

Waiting for Sobriety or Waiting for the Light
:-\
These are all very thought provoking. We do spend a lot of our time waiting. Sometimes it is a good time to pray those little prayers.
Shief, the black and white photos sort of catch something special in these pictures.
Mike thank you so much for the photos you are taking and sharing with us. Yes we do seem to be waiting for many things. I look at the last one and I am thinking that maybe instead of sobriety that he is waiting for perhaps her is waiting to be rested, (sleeping). Or perhaps silently praying.
Marilyn - Optimistic thinking, but unfortunately not true in this case. He was drunk as a skunk, and almost passed out on the bench. I really like the way the light is coming from the top right and he is totally dark in the shade. It is a very common site here in Minsk, as alcoholism is rampant. You see them on a regular basis just laid out on the ground.
Mike from what I know about my own family there are many Russians who are terrible drunks.
Oh, my neck hurts just looking at that last picture. My sister, Ivalou, will fall asleep like that...and, no, she isn't drunk!
Great shots, Mike. You did fantabulous takings shots of 'waiting'.
Marilyn I don't think this is a problem for any one specific nationality or ethnic group ... There are drunks in every culture (nearly). :(
Very provacative series..................waiting...........just waiting.......
The drunk guy looks to be quite well dressed, at least. Mayble not destitute yet?
I love street photography, I just don't have the nerve to do it!
GREAT STUFF!!!
