Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Carol: My husband Don is with the angels.....Our family was able to hold  ourselves together for the last moments.  Juar rhoufhr you might want to know. 2022-04-29, 23:35:15

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

This is the scene across the road from us the other night.  The fog was setting in, I decided to try this with a point and shoot of John's.

Jeanne Lee

There ya go, Judy!  The picture is great, you got it posted yourself and the size is perfect!  There'll be no holding you back now :D

Now all I did was take off a bit from the bottom.  There was an incorrect date code that I cut.   I wonder?

Jeanne Lee

That probably didn't make any real difference, Judy.  There's still room in the height of the picture.

Still trying to figure it out.  Ummm I have tried to change the sizes in the other topic.  Maybe it worked?

Thank you  for all your help!

Jeanne Lee

Actually, Judy, it didn't work in the other topic.   :'(   When you have a picture in Photobucket and try to delete it before you upload a revised version of the same thing, Photobucket puts back the first one for some reason and the revision doesn't take.  You have to upload the new first, then delete the old one.  I found this out the hard way!   ;)

I like it, Judy...Fog is a favorite of mine. I agree with Jeanne bout the height-You did good... ;) :)

Are you resizing your pics before you put on Photobucket?

That is something I have to figure out how to do.  I am new at this posting pictures thing.  Glad you like it though.

And with the sickies in the house it will take a bit.  I want to post a daytime clear of the same picture.  That will be in a few days as rain starts tomorrow morning.

Great job Judy. Hang in there and keep practicing. This is a great start.

Aye lass c'mon lets see what you can get up to, that's what you call moody, is this from film or a digital as the effect is similar to some of the earlier colour transparency films, like Dufay colour, circa 1930s. Yeah I can imagine this picture gracing a history of photography type book. This is quite effective.

Don

Great job Judy. I was wondering why you never posted any photos. Now you have a start and are rolling girl. Lets see more!

Thank you.  I did it once.  I think it was a fluke.  Think I can do it again???  I have tried and there is a air lock in my brain .  I will hae to spend time on this.

And you were successful with a rather difficult subject.   Don't give up.

John has a little point and shoot digital.  I won't give up.  This has been a full and difficult summer I will get back to working on resizing after John is better.  I will take a pic of the same area when the trees are in full colour.  It is a beautiful area we live in.

Jeanne Lee

Judy, I'll be watching for that next photo of the same scene.  I love the autumn colors.
