Sorry was so long in getting the next set up, but here you go. After going to her house, we then travelled to the House of Love (actual name), which is the Wedding Palace, or the Government building where you have the civil wedding ceremony for the Government. It is interesting in that it is set up exactly like a little wedding chapel. There is an altar, and in the place of a cross is the Belarussian symbol.Â

Since they are not married yet, they are required to ride in separate cars to the wedding palace. He helps her in the car, then he has to come to my car for the ride to the place.

This is the wedding party for the civil ceremony, which is just very close friends and immediate family. I was honored to be part of it, but since I took this photo, I'm not in it, although I'm in others that were taken.

This is during the actual civil ceremony, you can see the altar, and the lady doing the ceremony is actually the director of the Wedding Palace. Because his mom has connections and is a semi-important person who knows everyone, this lady made sure she was there to do the ceremony, as she normally doesn't do just anyone's wedding.

This is one of my favorite photos of the wedding, it is Sergei's Mom and Dad (my translator's parents). His dad's expression is saying, "What just happened?" and his mom's, "AT LAST HE"S OUT OF THE HOUSE!"
Thanks for posting all the wedding pictures.
They are sooo good and sweet! You do a great job!
