Sitting under a tree in town I was watching the clouds reflected in the bonnet of a dark coloured car, and the brilliant silvery chrome of the headlamp.

Now Michael.... A bonnet is what a baby wears on its head. The part of the car you have pictured is the hood!!! LOL

OK I can interpret British'isms I know that isn't a real word but it fits. Yes you call it a bonnet.

Now about the picture. It is amazing. Again you see things that I and others would pass by. Very well done!

You'd never know we officially speak the same language on both sides of the pond, would you? ;D

Regardless of what you call it, hood or bonnet, it's a great picture.
