Just trying to put a collection of shots together of Darwen, this one being of the India mill chimney, good name for a cotton mill the Ghandi came to visit in 1931, Ghandi also stayed at the Swan and Royal pub in Clitheroe. The machinery in the foreground is a wallpaper printing machine from a factory across the road, now demolished.

Interesting history. Good picture I like that machine in the front, it gives the picture perspective and depth.
Not only does the machine give perspective, put it adds some lovely bright color, too.
