Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

I've got a new avatar image.

This is an old photo of me and my Dad back in @ 1961.  I'm guessing I was about 2 or 3 years old here, helping Dad wash the family car.  Not sure what the car was.  I'll have to ask my Dad about that.  I'm sure he'd know.

I'm proud to say this year we celebrate my parent's 60th wedding anniversary.  Yep, I get all gooey thinking about my Mom and Dad, and am proud to say they were, and still are great parents. I was certainly blessed with both a WONDERFUL mother and father, and I am still blessed to have them both around.

When I get back to Pennsylvania this summer to enjoy time with the family in celebration of this event, I plan on archiving the old family photos.  It's something that needs to be done, and soon, before my parents pass on.

This photo brings tears of gratitude to my eyes . . .  <3

How wonderful, Andy!

That's a wonderful photo of you and your Dad.  What part of PA will you be visiting.

If my husband had still been alive, we would be celebrating our 47th Wedding anniversary in May.  He was promoted to Glory in 2001   We were married in 1961!!

Now, I'm planning another special day this May!  ;)

Pat - I was born in Warren, PA (northwest corner of the state) and where all my family still resides but for me (somehow found my way to Alaska  :uglystupid: ).  I have 3 brothers and 1 sister still back there, as well as my parents. My parents will both be 79 this year.  God has blessed me, and I'm sincerely thankful for the goodness He sent my way with such wonderful parents !!!

What special day are you planning in May?  I'm so sorry that I'm out of the loop.  :-[

Well, when I go down to Virginia (which is quite often), I pass quite close to Warren.  I use 219!!  You'll have to let me know later on when you'll be there.  I would probably then have to travel UP from Winchester as that's probably where I'll be most of the time and not Ontario.  ;)

Sure!  Rt. 219 goes thru Bradford and Ridgeway.  I'm very acquainted with that area.

Warren was a wonderful place to grow up.  I love that area with all the wonderful country that includes the Allegheny National Forest. A truly spectacular area!

Yes, I think that I ate in the McDonalds last time that is in Ridgeway!

What a great photo ... and the memories that go with it.   :)

1961?  That's the year the youngest of my three daughters was born!  Hmmmmm  (Now she is a grandmother!)

How time flies.   ^-^
