No not the Australian outback, but out back of where I live, well at least a few hundred yards walk away. Oh just needed to put this one up, as I'm just pining for a bit of landscape to share, not a bad autumn that year, we'd just come back from Kos in the Greek islands, and needed something to brighten up a dull looking Darwen. The light was particularly striking on this tree and the fields, providing somewhat of a welcome home.
I know what it was, the Greek islands had been a pretty colourful vacation, the place just seem to ooze colour and light, then arriving back in the north of England, everything looked completely drab and cheerless, and this little scene just perked things up a bit.

Green and gold, quietly lovely.

Interesting how home can sem drab after a holiday. I understand that. This is a beautiful picture. Well done.
