Yonge Street, looking north from Edward Street in Downtown Toronto.
I was strolling with my two-year old granddaughter when the police cordoned off the area
due to a building collapsing just a block away. This dramatic scene was captured by my point-and-shoot Canon SX-10 that I always carry with me wherever I go _ always ready for the unexpected.

Zooming in on a group of Toronto Firefighters who seem to be figuring out their position on how to approach the situation.
Were there any injuries in the building collapse?
In spite of the police response to provide safety for the public, I'd bet there was a lot of grumbling about inconvenience. ;)
Unbelievable, you see these things on TV but never expect it in your home town!
Well taken, good job!
