So the walls and ceiling got painted. There weren't any racks or shelves that worked, so we built a new one, high enough to clear the washer lid, but low enough for Mrs. Barbarian to reach comfortably. The "octopus" is for delicates, on a pulley secured by a clete to keep it out of the way. I replaced the somewhat dim light with a new bubble fixture.
In the center is a roll-out folding table/rack with a tub for unfolded, and wire racks for folded laundry. The white rectangle folds out to make a sturdy steel rack for hangers, which are now neatly stored on a keeper on the shelf.
We had a poster of our alma mater, which we put on the wall, with other shots of the school. Much nicer to be in, now.
Hey~!! I need my laundry area re-designed! Will you come and do it? HAHAHA!! Great job!
Pat, I get him first! ;D
What a great job and what a pleasure it must be now to do the laundry!
I want to get in line also.
Great job Mrs. Barbarian.
We both worked on this one. There's always an even division of labor.
She does the division; I do the labor.
Wow, you guys could go into the laundry room remodeling business! lol.
I need to do something with mine, it needs a lot of help. Of course....it would help to first get a washer & dryer in there I guess LOL!
Very nice job!
