Title: Sunbeams
Post by: Summicron on August 23, 2008, 07:26:39 PM
We don't get many of these kind of days, but when we do they are magical, the mist causes the light coming through the trees to break up into shafts of sunbeams. In autumn it is usually mid afternoon before the sun reaches the valley floor, as the sides of the woods are pretty steep, so when it does you inevitable get contre jour light filtering through the leaves as well.

Michael what a beautiful scene, I love the way you caught the  reflections in the water. The capture seems almost other worldly.

Tour right the local woods can look other worldly, if you look closely you can see the pixies and fairies dancing on the bridge. In fact I'll show you another one.
