That was me, a picture I took in the health center here in Darwen, I'd burnt my foot on a hotwater bottle, and went to have it looked at, at the minor injuries unit, treatment room, then it was hospital to see the diabetic foot clinic, then Wednesday when I took this picture, I was back to see the diabetic nurse, for my checkup, then she ushered me back to the treatment room, to have the foot re-bandaged as it was weaping a bit of blood. Here I was sat in the waiting room for the diabetic nurse, thought I'll try out the new digital camera, a Leica D lux 3, in the waiting room, and took this snap, with the camera balanced on my knee, nothing much, but out health center, even though some bozo stuck it on top of a hill, is quite nice, it has superb toilet facilities, every other door seems to be a loo. Well I know I haven't been around much, but with one thing and another I haven't had much patience for uploading anything, besides, all winter I just haven't been able to keep warm and especially my hand. Why a digital camera when I like film so much? I can't keep up with the changes that are happening here, and felt it was time for some instant uploads, thats my first shot with the camera.[attachimg=#]
Good shot.
Film to digital was difficult for me. I worked at a computer most of my day, DID NOT want to do so at home. However, I liked the idea of not contributing to the waste in the world. I print what I want, delete what I don't like. This is good to me.
I hope you enjoy your break into the digital world.

I had the same feeling when I switched. Keep shooting and it will happen.
Your first shot looks ok to me. Love the color.
Hope you foot gets well real soon.

Looks like a nice image....good focus and color. I will pray for healing of your foot. :)
You sure have been through the mill. I am praying for you.
I think you did well with your first shot...probably by now you've gotten pretty good! How's your foot doing? Hope all is well...By his stripes we are healed....1Peter 2:24
Well I got out the instructions, it was like a novel 150 pages, had most of the controls sussed out in half an hour, problem is in daylight you just can't see the screen, so havn't done a lot with it as yet, I'm still favouring my 35mm rangefinder cameras, a lot simpler to use, but don't want to be carrying too much stuff with me whilst this foot is still bad. The thing is, they've made a pot cast (picture) which I've got to keep on constantly, its healing but very slowly.

Wow that is some bandage!
I am continuing to pray for healing.
