Title: Where Rainbows Are Made
Post by: Summicron on October 16, 2008, 07:46:38 PM
Something quite amusing happened this afternoon. I was thinking about the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, and thought about the significance of a bow I photographed several years ago. What's at the base of this rainbow, is the world famous Walpamur paint works right here in Darwen, now Crown paints. What made me smile is that God is either pouring intoi the factory the colour to make the paint, or else this is the place where God gets His rainbows, or even maybe both. Or Crown paints don't give out colour cards they just paint the sky with a bow. I'm glad this picture came back to mind.

Great job getting the rainbow to show up on film. It's not always easy.

I love double rainbows  From what I am given to understand there is a full circular double rainbow around the throne of our Lord.  I think this gives us a wee glimpse of what that will look like!
