American Bald Eagles Part II[attachimg=#]
[attachimg=#]
Beautiful shots of a truly majestic bird.
Jeanne we are following each other around!
They are beautiful.
How in the world do you get so level with taking your Eagle pictures? We have hawks here but they are on telephone wires, or trees and Too high for me. All I would get is their belly!
However you do it you have taken some beautiful pictures.
Simply outstanding! Want to share your lens and settings info?
Jimiam, How you doin'? I use a Canon 7D with a 400 5.6L. These were shot handheld, I always try to keep the shutter above 1000 of a second when had held. These were shot Av mode, 400 Iso, 5.6 aperture. I dialed in -1/3 to -2/3 exposure compensation. I used spot metering and exposed for the head and then under exposed.. Basically under exposing to keep from blowing the details in the head. As you probably know it is impossible to bring back blown high lights. Now you know what I know. Go find some eagles. And Thanks. Have fun. God Bless.
So where did you find these eagles?
