Title: An ironic posture
Post by: jimiam on January 05, 2011, 01:11:53 AM
This dove, a symbol of peace, perched on razor and barbed wire I found ironic. It brought to mind Matt 8:20: And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.   KJV

Perhaps I'm a little odd, but the fact this type barrier is deemed so necessary and so common today that the birds readily perch on them helps me to understand more John's statement in Rev. 22:20 ....................Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

I love the analogy.  Amen to the "Even so come Lord Jesus"!

A great shot, and I second Judy's Amen to "Even so, Come Lord Jesus!"
