I took these pictures yesterday in my backyard.

Oh boy, Spring has sprung in your neighborhood! Those much maligned Starlings are really pretty when you capture them like you did in #1 :)
#3 looks like a Downy, but not sure what kind of woodpecker #2 is.
#4 looks like a house finch, or is it a purple? I've never seen one, but thinking the intense red may indicate a purple here?
Got the Robin and Junco figured out, but what's the good looker in #5? A Tufted Titmouse?
Great series, thanks for sharing and reminding me of the impending wonder of Spring. So far we've had a couple sightings of Mtn Bluebirds and Sandhill Cranes, so we know the season is close upon us here :)

Thanks, Ken,
#3 is a Downy, #2 is a red-bellied woodpecker, #4 is a house finch, #5 is the tufted Titmouse.
Wow you both know your birds, I missed #2 and #5! Great photos!
Wonderful collection. I only missed #2 - I'm not sure whether we have any around here. At least I've never seen one.
Thanks, Judy and Jeanne!
Great shots Buddy, that collection looks like it came right out of my backyard.
