Lot's of activity yesterday. We saw 7 rams in this location and of course numerous ewes. There wasn't any fighting going on but lots of posturing and eyeballing one another. One ram limped up the chute to the right on this photo. The rest stuck around. One young ram wanted to get in on the action but was outclassed by these. The one on the far right was the class of the lot in this location. The others wanted to challenge him, but none would get in his way.
Nice shots, Jim. I'm afraid you're more dedicated than I. The ice & snow would have put me off. :(
Hi Gary,
Thanks! They were pretty easy really. We stayed on the road. They were down low and the only thing we had to do is get out of the vehicles and set up the tripods. The temps were in the high teens, with a little breeze.
Jim
Tell me do you get used to the ice and snow?
These are amazing animals. Well done Great shots.
Wonderful shot of the gathering of rams.
