buddywoods this is a great shot. what camera/lens did you use to capture this shot? any tips for us 'newbies' on how to set your camera to get this?

Excellent capture! I just learned that osprey fly with their catch (mostly fish) facing forward and upright. Each and every time! They know a lot more about aerodynamics than a lot of people! Has nothing to do with eagles but I'm on pain meds for my jaw and I get a little weird on drugs. heheheheh :crazy: What are you shooting with?

that was a great write up. makes me want to pick up my camera and go find some birds to see what I can get at 1/4000. and yes, I'm trying not to covet your 400mm lens ;) Your website & blog are BOSS. nice work!
