Wonderful Buddy Keep them coming!
Thanks again Judy!
buddywoods this is a great shot. what camera/lens did you use to capture this shot? any tips for us 'newbies' on how to set your camera to get this?
Excellent capture! I just learned that osprey fly with their catch (mostly fish) facing forward and upright. Each and every time! They know a lot more about aerodynamics than a lot of people! Has nothing to do with eagles but I'm on pain meds for my jaw and I get a little weird on drugs. heheheheh  What are you shooting with?
Thanks, gardnerlakegirl and gjtoth!
I use a Canon 7D camera and a 400mm f/5.6L lens. ISO 400, Aperture f/7.1, Shutter 1/1250. I have a writeup on birds in flight pictures in my blog. http://www.buddy-woods.com/page10.html (http://www.buddy-woods.com/page10.html)
Wonderful shot! :)
that was a great write up. makes me want to pick up my camera and go find some birds to see what I can get at 1/4000. and yes, I'm trying not to covet your 400mm lens ;) Your website & blog are BOSS. nice work!
Thanks, gardnerlakegirl!
WEll you answered the question I asked on another of your posts. Now I really need to check out your site. Thanks, OH nice shot!
