Title: Be Still and Know
Post by: shutterbugmom on March 30, 2007, 09:29:32 PM
Thought I'd post a creation I did for a friend of mine.  Still learning and playing with PhotoshopCS2 to make some fine art prints to glorify the Father.  My friend's favorite verse seemed to suit this photo well.

If you've seen my photos from Dedication Point and Swan Falls you may be interested to know this little guy was perched on this rock just below me on the canyon rim.  He had a fantastic view!

That's absolutely beautiful and that's one of my favourite verses as well.

Awe, thanks everyone!

It's always so hard to be still and wait on the Lord.  One thing I really like about this picture with this verse is that, if you notice, this bird's wings are slightly blurred. I like the fact that is shows that he was having trouble being still, as well.  He truly was only there for a few seconds and then gone again.  I pray we will linger at the feet of Jesus and wait on Him and truly know that He is God.

Pat-thanks for the showcase on the CP blogspot! :)

Kathleen, I'd like to add that at the bottom of the post on the blog.  Is that ok if I do?

The blurred backgroun forces you to focus on the bird. Nice job.
I liked what you had to say about the photo too!
