On my trip from Seattle to home, I stopped off at Bonner, Montana to see if any of the resident Bighorn Sheep were braving the elements. Sure enough, there were a few traversing the edge of the mountain. It was snowing pretty hard when I took the shot, so the clarity of the image suffers quite a bit.[attachimg=1]
Ken, gorgeous picture....... the snow looks to be as deep as it is up here, today!
Great picture, Ken. Almost looks as though he's blaming you for the snow! :D
Thanks Ruth and Jeanne Lee. I think he wasn't too impressed with the conditions, as he stopped often while trudging through the snow, probably to catch his breath! The picture doesn't show his situation very well, but the hillside he is on is very steep, so his footing was precarious
Ken it shows the conditions they live in, how surefooted they are!!
