they did nest in the box on the left. Laid 5 eggs-successfully hatched-and yesterday they fledged...So they made it through without getting destroyed by the hosp's...I couldn't take the constant chasing to keep those nasty birds from harming them-I put it in God's hands. I know you must be thinking 'she's praying for birds? she must be crazy'...but God says he will give us the desires of our heart and he made these things for our enjoyment. God 'made everything good'!!! I don't necessarily feel like its the hosp fault as satan is the ruler of this world-but not over us-we have power over him, I think he gets in those birds, so as added measure I told him to get-in Jesus name...Jesus said-if we believe and accept him we can do things as he did, he is our brother...I Believe all things are possible!
Thanks once again for listening to my heart and I hope you enjoy the babies, I found 4 of them by watching where the parents went and was able to get shots of four. Didn't have time to look for the other as a storm rolled in...and this morning I hope they are okay! They looked too little to be out of the box, so vulnerable, but God knows when a sparrow falls, so I choose to believe he brought them through the storm!
I didn't see this lil one until the dad came...

It simply amazes me watching God's handiwork!!! :) :)
Awwwwe The colour is just coming through on the wings. They are so cute. No I don't think you are crazy for praying for the birds. Us pet owners pray for our pets. Your pictures are lovely!
Thank you Judy for not making me feel silly for that! I really do like them alot...When I went out this morning-the hosp were all over the nesting boxes, its as if they knew they could take over but I set my traps again-cos there's still a chance the bluebirds or even tree swallows may nest again... :)
No Need to feel silly.
I have only seen live bluebirds once and that was a few years ago as they were resting before continuing on their journey south. They are so beautiful, i was inside they were out and i had no film in the camera. :(
Please keep documenting what you see with your boxes!
I think that you are very loving to those blue birds... I love birds, horses, dogs and cats. I pray for them all the time!!! I love these pictures, Juanital
No need to feel silly about praying for the birds. They are God's creatures, too.
Thanks for the images. We have Bluebirds, but I have never seen the babies. Of course now I know what to look for because I would have been looking for blue babies.
Becky
Thanks Jeanne and Becky...
Well later-same day after they fledged we had really nice thunder storm-pouring down rain...the next day also had a nice steady pour...Found one baby who went into the bushes-the parents were feeding it, or trying to. it was doing the feed me sound, I haven't seen any others...now day three, still doing a nice steady off and on rain...Haven't heard the one in the bushes and don't see the parents trying to go in either...Still no signs of the others...but they could of moved off acroos to the trees...Bluebirds usually start looking to make another nest and or if you save the old nest within a week or two...So a pair have been checking out the other box that didn't get used...I can't really tell if it's the same pair, but it seems to be...That would be quite awesome!
The juveniles are SO cute!
I love your pictures! ;D
Courtney :rose:
I do hope the young are ok. BUT it is wonderful that the box is being used again!
