Title: Egret

Surprised me in a bayou near Bossier City, while I was looking for something else.

Those are great.  We have a fair number of egrets around here also.  They are absolutely beautiful in flight.

I've seen that.   Large flocks of them sometimes make a coordinated turn, and the change in reflectivity is striking to see.   They are just beautiful.

Last spring, one showed up in the creek where I walk, and two kildeer went berserk with anger over it, dive bombing and threatening the much larger bird until it fled.  I suppose they had a nest somewhere.
