Title: European Starlings
Post by: gjtoth on February 21, 2009, 12:58:15 PM
From the FZ28 -- freehand through double-pane windows on a gloomy day.

I was wondering why there were no customers at my feeding station.  As I observed a few finches feeding, a VERY aggressive mockingbird attacked and chased away anything (including the squirrels!).    :ticked:  While I don't mind pests at the feeders, I *DO* mind jerks.    >:(  Sooooo... out came the pellet rifle.  :clobber:  I think I need some practice because he's still alive but a lot less seen at the feeders.   ;D Then, came these guys.  I don't mind them too much because at least they aren't claiming it as their very own territory.  In spite of being a pesky lot, I think they're awfully pretty.
