From the Oly. I don't like these guys much. They scare off everything and cause chaos at the feeders.

I agree with you on these birds. But you must admit they have a shine that is beautiful. Aren't they usually scavengers?

No, they're raiders. These and starlings can strip a field bare in a very short time. They used to have a bounty on them they were considered so dangerous to food crops. They are not easily deterred from feeding stations and come in groups of 8-15 chasing everything else away and creating quite a ruckus fighting over the food. Until I bring out the pellet rifle and drop one. THEN, they get deterred REAL quick! I hate doing it but, they are real pests and a threat to farmers' crops.
Ahhhh I see. Well keep that pellet gun handy.
Pat's Geordie shases them off. Really funny to see, all Pat has to say is "Big Birds!". She can whisper it and he will react.
