I figured out why I wasn't getting hummingbirds to the feeders. I had the feeders too close to the other birds' feeding station. I moved the hummingbird feeder to the patio and within minutes I shot these from inside the house with the Oly and 70-300. These are uncropped.

They are beautiful. This is a WOW shot. I can't wait till Jeanne can see it!

Thanks!! But, I think these are a little better. I set up a OCF outside the door with a wireless remote. Here's what I got in about 5 minutes of setting it up.

These are absolutely breathtaking. Great photography, Gary. Look at them.....could they have been any better? You must be really happy with these.

I'm satisfied with the last one, Nita. Yes, they can be better but, I'm working on that :) I believe I've got the technique down I just have to catch them away from "Big Red" ;D
