Thanks. I am no expert on IDing HAwks , but I believe thie is an immature Swainson's. I have been studying to Id the local species. The more I study the more confused I get. Flipping back and forth from my photographs to the web makes it even more confusing. I am going to get a book. We have at least 4 and possibly more species here locally. And the variations and morphs add even more difficulty. It is a good hobby.  Keeps the blood circulating in the brain. A very rare occurence when I was younger. God bless your day.
