Title: Flamingos
Post by: Whistlinsadler on April 10, 2010, 11:26:24 PM
Didn't know whether to post this here or under the travel section. I shot this at Disney World's Animal Kingdom. Very frustrated with my slow kit lens in low light. We were bouncing around on the "Kilimanjaro Safari," and the shutter was running slow to get plenty of light. So all my photos of that were blurry. Elephants, giraffes, a rare white rhino, all blurry. This one, though, seemed like it was meant to be blurry. Wouldn't have been the same if it were well-focused.

Wow!  This is a gorgeous abstract!  There was a competition on a site I was on awhile ago simply entitled "Movement" and I'm sure this would have fit in there.  ;)

Is that ever interesting.  As Pat says it sure shows movement...makes me wonder where they are going in such a hurry!
