White geese!  I see so many flocks of Canada geese up here but not many of a group of white.

The grease we have here are gray and black. I don't see white one very often. BTW, I call them grease on purpose.  :lol:

I think they are snow geese? With the black beeks are they trumpeter swans?

They may be swans Judy i am not sure. :thinking:

Swans...snow geese have shorter necks, stockier bodies and dark blue markings at the wingtips underneath, and are delicious, too ;)

I did a google image search.  This is what I came up with.

I do think they are trumpeter swans.  They sure are beauties, and I like yours better than the images on google!

Thanks, Judy, but I don't know the person who took the pict.  I just put it up there while I searched for a good "free" pict.  Can't find one and don't want to use one w/o permission.  :D
