I'm so sorry that I missed this before.
I've never seen pelicans flying. What a great image!
I am going to show the girls these pictures. In science this year they have done a very brief srudy of the pelecan. They will enjoy seeing them in their natural habitat.
Excellent pictures. You can imagine them talking together. "See that guy over there ? He's taking our picture, lets all look pretty!"
Pelicans are pretty smart. I've watched them on the back lake in my hometown in Iowa.
They get in a big circle, and then herd the fish into a very small area. Then, on signal, they all dive in and have lunch.
My goodness, I never knew that! They must be really smart. Our God is a wonderful creator.
