Lovely arangement of the four birds around that lantern, at first glance I thought it was an antique shop still life, until the birds became clear. Are these bluebirds? Obviously their colour is, I've never seen bluebirds before, all the colours we get round here are brown and grey ones. Oh there is a partridge comes every day and pokes around on a rooftop across from me, he hangs about with the starlings and sparrows. You know I don't think he's got a girlfriend. :'(
NICE! I had two at my feeder today but wasn't quick enough to catch 'em.
Thanks for the good comments.
Gary -I had five one day to the feeder but like you said they are hard to capture they move quickly

These are blue jays, Summicron. Blue birds are REAL different. Much smaller and not so much white.
wow, it's my first time to see blue jays. we have different birds here in the Philippines but since i live in the city, i don't really get to see many of them.
Looks like they are having a party.... Would be fun to sit and watch1
I think blue jays are so pretty and I love to see them but at the same time, they are so mean. They kill smaller birds and do horrible things.
I still like to watch them though and along with the gorgeous cardinals, they are favourites in my book!
thanks Melody!
Jays!!! love em. yep, Jay's are nasty birds at times, they are in the crow family afterall. which happens to be my favorite kind of bird. and Jays even more so (since that's my husband's name) so he gets 'Jaybird' a lot. we don't have any blue's around here, but we do very often have the stellar's jay.
great picture!
I've heard that crows are very smart birds.
