Thanks Ruth. Taking pictures at the zoo kind of feels like cheating, but they are good practice, and now and then I come away with some I really like!

He is beautiful. I love the eye! I saw one flying on the thermals in Nebraska, Thought for sure he would hit our truck......Flew right over without flapping his wings at all! They are beautiful birds!!

Thanks Jeanne, Judy & Marilyn! Sorry about the tardy reply. I was expecting to see more Golden and Bald Eagles last week as I traveled across Wyoming, but mostly saw crows and magpies...maybe if I start looking for crows and magpies, I will see eagles?!
