I've always been told and agree that the best pictures of these Birds are right as they take off or as they are landing. I captured this photo of a Great Egret as He was Landing close to a nest at the St. Augustine, Florida Bird Rookery. Hope you enjoy and may the Lord bless & keep you.

Good.
Another great bird-shot, Fotobirder. You really are living up to your name.
OK NOW AM I GOING TO STOP AT THE RIGHT PLACE????
Thanks everyone. This place was wonderful to get shots like this. When your camera and lens are both light, it makes it much easier to Pan. On most of the shots, I got a whole sequence leading to the landing. The Hardest part was choosing which subject to focus on. Thanks for all the comments and may the Lord bless & keep you.

What a shot! Wonderful!!!
It doesn't show in this picture. But He is about to land in the tree by the nest where the Mom Egret is patiently waiting for food. Thanks for your comments and may the Lord bless & keep you.
