Title: Had our first minor freeze this morning...
Post by: gjtoth on October 28, 2008, 10:09:14 AM
The cooler temperatures seem to have increased the urgency in the patrons of my feeding station.  I don't I've ever seen titmouses (mice?) eat together peacefully.  But, here they are... munching peacefully together.

I couldn't resist a shot of this guy.  I think he's the most brilliant house finch I've ever seen.

The red one does have a sophisticated look about him, doesn't he?

Thanks so much, Judy!

The really outstanding ones seem to know it, Scotty.  But, they all lose that summer plumage for more dull colors.
