Here's one of my bird photos. A Red-Tailed Hawk. He wasn't in the wild, but on display at the Birds of Prey Festival here in Kuna, Idaho. We are fortunate to live in the Snake River Birds of Prey National Conservation Area. We see many Birds of Prey soaring all around this area. There are both Nesting Raptors and Migrating Raptors. Bald Eagles, Golden Eagles, Hawks, Falcons, owls, Osprey, vultures, kestrels, harriers, etc...

Oops, sorry. I did something wrong and the image didn't post the first time. This may only be a thumbnail, but I can't figure out how to use the bigger file. Help!
Any advice on how to do that?
Thanks, Kathleen
Hi Kathleen!
Here's the URL that you used to post your photo:

See the word "thumb_" in it?
If you change that word to "normal_" it will be the medium sized photo. If you remove it completely, it will be the photo you uploaded in the size you uploaded if it was more than 400 pixels wide.
So, here's your photo larger...

And it's lovely!
By the way, I'm sorry it took me so long to answer your question. :(
A bit soft focus, but I like the composition and especially the background.
Thanks for the help with the sizes and the nice comment, Pat. I understand why you've been offline and it's no problem at all. I pray the Lord has been bringing you comfort.
Carl, thanks for your tips regarding my hawk picture. I appreciate it very much. I have several more from the same day that I still need to process and get web-ready. Maybe after I finish the directory.
Blessings,
Kathleen
Wow! That's what I call "up close and personal!"
