Title: How many people can say....
Post by: gjtoth on November 05, 2008, 11:59:37 AM
... they were entertained by their very own squirrel.  This is the same little female I've been taking photos of for the past year or so.  I didn't see her for a while after I put the up the new feeding station.  She's baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!

Very nice. I like the last few, with the light shining on her.

Great shots. I think maybe  only a few to each post would make it easier to enjoy each pic. Maybe 3 would work, just a suggestion , to space them out a bit. That way you could add some text to each pic too.

How neat to have a resident model to photograph so frequently. She is such a cutey.

Wow Again I missed these.  Question though , how do you know that this is the same female??  Does she have special markings or behaviours that you recognize?  It is wonderful to be able to follow the growth of a little one like that.

Squirrels, as with many other critters, are fairly territorial, Judy.  They seem to share food and water with outsiders... to a point.  You've probably seen several squirrels in what seemed to be "playing" -- running around and chasing each other.  Most of what you DON'T see is once they catch up to one another.  It's ain't pretty.
