Was sitting in my back garden this afternoon with Camera on the table, just hoping to get a few shots of some birds. These are the best two that i managed.

I like them both
Neil, I like them as well.
May I ask what bird they are?
I agree with the others. They are lovely.
Neil, I sure hope you show us more of the birds from your area. You have many different ones from the ones we have in Canada.

Pat, i sure will start to take more photos of the birds in this area. During our summer holidays, we will hopefully go to the HQ of the RSPB is Sandy, where hopefully i will get some nice shots.
Sorry i missed your earlier question about what sort of birds i had taken photos of. Its hard at the moment identifying certain birds because of the time of year, when the chicks are abduntant. At first i thought the smalller bird was a young sparrow but i wasn't sure because i couldn't see the maarkings on its back and wings. But looking through my book just now with my wife, i am pretty sure that it isn't a sparrow but a garden warbler....As for the second photo of the larger bird. We cannot be sure but i think it may be a female blackbird, which are brown. Confusing huh, lol.
