Title: Little Egret
Post by: mybcjazz on October 29, 2009, 02:41:01 AM
Launching from the rocks...the whites in egrets are a special challenge.  Too much exposure and say goodbye to the detail in the feathers.

In His Grip,
Kevin

You certainly did get the detail in the feathers - and beautiful contrast of the white egret against the bright blue of the water.

You are the master of careful exposure.   Every feather is clearly marked.   How much they look like African cattle egrets.

Kevin, well done.  I frequently take pictures of white birds and you are correct about the difficulty.  This is well done.  Good detail.
